It won’t be wrong to say that the Jeep Wrangler is a cult of sorts when it comes to customizing a vehicle. The Wrangler is one of the most customizable vehicles not just with aftermarket accessories, but also thanks to the rich directory of the in-house guide, Mopar.

The Wrangler comes with so many optional accessories and packages that it might leave you scratching your head. To help you with this conundrum, Jeep decided to customize the Wrangler in-house with accessories and call it the 2020 Jeep Wrangler JPP 20. It was showcased at the Chicago Auto Show and it did grab a fair bit of attention. Looks pretty sweet, doesn’t it?

The Jeep Wrangler JPP 20 in a Nutshell

Complete with Jeep Wrangler off-road accessories, this SUV is drool-worthy. You can buy the JPP 20 in either Ocean Blue or White shade. It is based on the four-door model with steel tube doors along with a mesh sunbonnet that provides shade to all the passengers and gives the off-road enthusiast in you an open-air experience.

You can have it with aluminum doors as well, if tube doors aren’t your thing. The Jeep Wrangler off-road accessories make this JPP 20 a hoot-and-a-half for enthusiasts. Up front, the Wrangler JPP 20 features a Warn winch as seen on the Rubicon trim. There are a steel bumper and a skid plate that help the Wrangler JPP 20 traverse over rocks with ease. Jeep has also equipped the vehicle with auxiliary lights on the bumper and hood.

Along with this, all-weather floor mats and a Mopar cargo tray kit will be offered as well. On the entertainment and connectivity front, the Wrangler JPP 20 will feature a seven-inch touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Jeep has made use of a fair share of decals all over the body as well. There is an American Flag graphic on the hood, the fender vents are blacked out, and there’s a JPP graphic decal on the passenger-side quarter panel. The fuel door is also blacked out, and a laser-etched forged-aluminum JPP badge is placed on the driver-side fender and on the rear swing-gate assembly.

Despite pampering the off-roader with a sweet lineup of accessories from the factory, Jeep also allows you to get creative with the build. The Wrangler JPP 20 will be delivered with an exclusive owner’s kit that will feature a personalized booklet, some memorabilia, and customer credit that can be used at the dealership to equip the following:

-* JPP two-inch lift kit

-* JPP five-inch and seven-inch off-road LED light kits, including mounting brackets

-* Choice of one of five available JPP off-road wheel sets and set of five tires

Fortunately, Jeep will let you choose what engine you want:

Build Your Own Jeep Wrangler JPP 20

This is apart from the configurator on Jeep’s website. On this build, the Jeep Wrangler off-road accessories include stuff like a Warn winch, LED light kits, a winch guard, and so on. Even graphic decals like the American flag on the bonnet are available on Mopar store. There are many other items to pick from, like the Jeep Performance Parts badges, cargo tray kits, and the stoplight relocation kit.

The company has not announced which trim it used as starting point for the JPP 20. But since it is heavily off-road-oriented, we assume it sits on the Rubicon trim.

Final Thoughts

The Jeep Wrangler JPP 20 looks fantastic and comes with a feature list that will make the enthusiasts happy. Jeep says that 90-percent of all Wrangler owners buy at least one accessory for their vehicle. If you want to get a Wrangler for off-roading but aren’t sure what Jeep Wrangler accessories to go for, this build is for you.

The company also mentioned that pricing for the Wrangler JPP 20 will be announced closer to the launch date. The JPP 20 will arrive at dealerships this summer, but they will start accepting orders for the SUV from the second quarter of 2020. Given all the accessories Jeep has equipped, it will cost at least $10,000 over the standard model.
