The Kia Stinger Is On Its Death Bed But Paved the Way of Transformation
There’s no deny that as awesome as it is, the Kia Stinger never lived up to sales expectations. As a fighter against cars like the BMW 4 Series and Audi S5, and Mercedes C-Class, it had big shoes to fill, but one could argue that Kia has yet to shed that econobox aura. At least not enough for it to have a true sports sedan – and the Kia Stinger is undoubtedly that – actually be successful against well-established names with big enthusiast followings. As the automotive industry has shifted, Kia’s strategy has too, and that means that the Stinger can’t live on as it is, nor will there be a direct successor, but that doesn’t mean the Stinger won’t live on.

Although both cars compete in the same segment, they are propelled by very different drivetrains. Will more power and torque prevail over less weight, all-wheel drive, and a DSG gearbox?
The Kia Forte Could be Gunning For the Honda Civic SI in 2022
For years, Kia and Hyundai were known to make economy cars that were not interesting to look at or drive. However, that all changed when they hired Alec Biermann, the now-former head of BMW’s M division, and the man behind some of the greatest cars in the BMW’s history. Because of this, cars like the Kia Forte, for example, have become great talking points. For the 2022 model year, the Kia Forte arrives with a facelifted exterior, new tech throughout the interior, and a whole new range of trim levels: FE, LXS, GT-line, and at the top is the GT.
2022 Kia Sorento PHEV
Kia launched the fourth generation Sorento back in 2020. At the moment of its launch, only gasoline and hybrid engines were announced, and a plug-in hybrid version was promised for the 2022 model year. Now the plug-in hybrid version has been finally added to the Sorento lineup, and it comes with a few cool promises, including a combined overall range of 460 miles.
2021 Kia K5 GT - Driven
When Kia change the name of the Optima to K5, it was more than just a name change. With that new designation came a sportier sedan with a simple and attractive interior, and a pair of engines that put you one two different sides of the same fence: Economy or Performance. After driving the GT-Line AWD, we felt like we were wanting more. It looked faster, but it was essentially the same car as the standard K5 with AWD and sportier looks. So, does the K5 GT scratch that it? Well, it really does, but it certainly has it flaws, the most important of which is, arguably, the lack of AWD – something can actually be dangerous for unskilled drivers or those not used to having 300-horsepower at their disposal. Keep reading to learn, why?
