Koenigsegg unveiled the Jesko in 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show. It is the spiritual successor of the Agera and is named after the company’s founder’s father, Jesko von Koenigsegg
The Jesko is powered by a 5.0-liter, twin-turbo V-8 engine that puts out 1,262 horsepower when filled with regular gasoline, and 1,578 horses when filled with premium fuel. The torque is rated at 1,106 pound-feet
It can sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in 2.5 seconds and has a claimed top speed of over 300 mph. But, in reality, it has touched speeds of up to 278 mph
The mill is mated to a nine-speed Light Speed Transmission that doesn’t feature synch rings. This means you can shift from seventh to fourth gear without waiting for synchronization, for instance.
The Koenigsegg Jesko is all about its aerodynamics. It comes with a unique design that features a massive carbon fiber splitter up front. The headlamps and the pointy nose are inspired by the Regera
The side profile looks to be inspired by the Agera RS and even has touches of the Regera. The car features a carbon fiber body, including carbon fiber wheels. They measure 20 inches in the front and 21 inches at the back
The rear is an art in itself. The aero elements here enable the Jesko to put down up to 2,205 pounds of downforce at 171 mph. This is courtesy of a carbon diffuser, two-wing like elements, and, of course, the massive rear wing
Koenigsegg developed a new carbon-fiber monocoque chassis for the Jesko and even made significant changes to the suspension setup
On the inside, the Jesko features premium material, a five-inch instrument cluster, a nine-inch infotainment system, race-spec seats, etc. There are Alcantara, polished aluminum, and carbon fiber trims present here
The steering wheel, called the SmartWheel, features two small touchscreens with haptic controls
As for the pricing, the Jesko is priced at around $3 million
