Lamborghini is the kind of brand that likes to appease their customers. So when the opportunity came for the Italian automaker to gain traction in a new Southeast Asian market, they decided to give its local clientele a special edition model to commemorate the occasion.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Lamborghini Gallardo Malaysia Edition.

Based on the Gallardo LP 550-2 and limited to only 20 units, the Gallardo Malaysia Edition comes with a choice of three unique colors: Arancio Borealis, Verde Ithaca and Blanco Monocerus. The car will also carry a Superleggera exterior kit that includes a more aggressive front bumper, new carbon fiber side skirts, a new diffuser, a titanium exhaust system, and an ’MLE Limited Edition 20’ plaque to highlight its special edition status.

As far as performance credentials are concerned, the Gallardo Malaysia Edition will carry the same 5.2-liter V10 engine as the LP 550-2 Balboni Edition. This model is capable of producing 550 horsepower with a 0-60 mph time of just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph.

Granted, the limited run nature of the Gallardo Malaysia Edition makes it a punch on the pockets of anybody looking to buy one of the 20 available models. Converted from local currency, the supercar will cost a tidy $554,000 and will be made available on a per-order basis.

I can’t even imagine the amount of power that should be lessened if this is my country.

No wonder why Lamborghini is in demand nowadays. Even far eastern countries reach by this great super car.

I’m curious as to how Lamborghini might possibly design this according my country.

When will they produce other Gallardo for other Asian countries?

We hope that it would be launched in other Asian countries too.

Gallardo will reign on the roads of Malaysia, but how about the other Asian neighboring countries like Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines?

Malaysia has their own restriction, it seems.

Was this originally a roadster? Imagine this taking over Malaysia’s roads, whoa.

It’s already fast in just a matter of time despite the figure of its top speed. You can see that it still houses that powerful 5.2-liter V10 engine.

The green color it sports just suits Malaysia. Anyway, I bet Malaysia is already contented with its maximum speed.

I guess the maximum speed is purposely limited for Malaysian roads. It’s okay as its appearance is enough to show off to people.

I like the color it sports! Frankly, it made it seem a bit cheap, but the vivid tone is attractive.

I’m figuring out why its maximum speed isn’t as high, and then it hit me that Malaysia probably considers it massively fast already.

Eh? I guess it’s been limited to that too, I mean its maximum speed. Why is it green? Have they been up to promoting something?

I’m a bit disappointed with the figure of its top speed. Actually, how is this exuding a Malaysian feel? Is its purpose that, or they just simply wanted to produce a limited edition for Malaysia without any designated style?
