2019 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder
The Lamborghini Huracán was introduced in 2014 as the Italian supercar maker’s next-gen entry-level model, following in the footsteps of the ever-popular Lamborghini Gallardo. In January of 2019, Lamborghini revealed the second-generation Huracán EVO Coupé, and now the Raging Bull is dropping the top with the Huracán EVO Spyder at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. Slotting in as the second entry in Lambo’s modern V-10 stable, the Huracán EVO Spyder is equipped with the same go-stuff as the hardtop, including a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter powerplant, adaptive suspension components, and eye-popping aerodynamics. However, as an added bonus, the Huracán EVO Spyder adds in unlimited headroom, all without compromising the Huracán EVO’s impressive performance capabilities.

2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63
If the Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Jota (SVJ) isn’t rare enough for you, you’ll be happy to know that a 63-unit Aventador SVJ 63 Special Edition is also available from Lamborghini. The rarer Aventador SVJ 63 carries that name as a nod to 1963, the year patriarch Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the company. Lamborghini has yet to release the price for the Aventador SVJ 63, but expect it to be heavier on the pockets compared to the $517,770 price tag of the “standard” Aventador SVJ.
2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is the most powerful and aggressive version of the company’s flagship supercar. The car that bears the iconic Jota suffix, which was first used on the Miura, made its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance as the fastest production car on the Nurburgring as of 2018.
The first Lambo to carry a "Jota" badge since the Diablo, the Aventador SVJ is essentially a beefed-up version of the SV. But it’s not just faster and more powerful, it’s also more aerodynamic, as it benefits from the Aerodynamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system. First introduced on the Huracan Performante, ALA is a range of active aerodynamic features that turn the already potent supercar into a road-legal race car. Alongside the SVJ, Lambo launched a limited-edition SJV 63 model that pays homage to the company’s founding year of 1963.

2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder
The Lamborghini Huracan made its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It replaced the Gallardo, the company’s best-selling model as of 2018, in the lineup and became Lambo’s entry-level supercar. Slightly longer and wider than its predecessor, the Huracan employs a different styling language compared to the Gallardo, featuring lines derived from the range-topping Aventador. The design includes sharper cues, more pronounced side skirts, and a more aggressive stance overall. Under the hood, the 5.2-liter V-10 was updated for more horsepower and improved fuel economy. In 2017, Lamborghini launched the higher performance Performante model, and a Spyder version broke cover at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
Three years have passed since the Huracan was unleashed on public roads and the supercar is already highly popular, selling more than 8,000 units since its introduction. The Performante Spyder arrives to close the circle of the Huracan family, which now includes two coupes, two convertibles, and two race-spec models. The Performante name returns after long hiatus, as it was originally introduced on the Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante, essentially a convertible version of the Gallardo Superleggera. The high-performance drop-top was launched in 2011 and remained in production until the Gallardo was phased out in 2013. As you might have already guessed, the Performance Spyder adds infinite headroom to the Performante’s record-setting performance. And it’s almost as quick!

2018 Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster
The Lamborghini Aventador is crowned as Lambo’s most iconic model, and since its introduction in 2011, the family has grown considerably. After the base Aventador hit the road, it paved the way for models like the Aventador J, the LP 750-4 SuperVeloce, the Dreamliner Edition, and was even used as the basis for cars like the Veneno and Centenario. By the time late 2016 came around, the car that was responsible for the aforementioned models – and replaced the Murcielago in the lineup – was due for an update that brought about a revamping of the car’s aerodynamics and its chassis to go along with a mild update to power output as well. Now, in early September of 2017 – at least a month before the new 2018 Aventador S will be delivered to the first customers – Lambo has decided to present us with the Aventador S Roadster, a topless version of the new S that is destined to stand out next to its less-frisky counterpart by means of unlimited headroom packed into a head-turning package.
So that sounds good and all, but what does it really mean? Well, it means that the world’s only super sports roadster with a mid-rear V-12 is its own standalone model that’s highly customizable with five different interior configurations, and an unlimited choice of exterior colors via the Ad Persona program. It takes four-wheel drive to an all-new level alongside things like the active suspension system, four-wheel steering system, and Lambo’s classic LDS and LMS systems that were revised specifically for the Aventador S Roadster. So, even though the Aventador S Coupe is still fairly fresh in our minds, it’s time to take a good look at its topless counterpart. And, you better hurry if you want to be informed – this baby makes its first official debut to the masses at none other than the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show.

2017 Lamborghini Huracan Perfomante
After ten successful years on the market, during which it became the company’s best-selling sports car ever, the Lamborghini Gallardo was replaced by the Huracan in 2014. Boasting a new design inside and out, a revised drivetrain, and better performance, the Huracan hit the sports car market with a bang, selling more than 1,500 units in 2014 and more than 4,700 in 2016. With some 8,500 examples sold as of early 2017, it sure looks as if the Huracan will surpass the Gallardo’s 14,022-unit record sales in a few years. However, Lambo knows that resting on its laurels isn’t the best thing to do so it’s hard at work to expand the Huracan family. The latest model to join the lineup goes by the name Performante and made its global debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
As the name suggests, the Performante is a higher performance version of the standard Huracan and a successor to the Gallardo Superleggera. Although it was originally believed that the Huracan will also get a Superleggera badge, Lambo eventually decided to replace it with Performante. The name swap is rather surprising given that the high-performance Aventador retained the SuperVeloce name from its predecessor, but I agree that Performante is as fitting as Superleggera for a range-topping sports car.
Overall, the Huracan Performance is a big step forward compared to the Gallardo Superleggera, but it’s also a significant departure from the standard Huracan in terms of aerodynamics and performance. Find out more about it in my review below.

2018 Lamborghini Huracan By Italdesign
Lambo introduced us to its Huracan hurricane in 2014 as a replacement for the seemingly endlessly popular Lamborghini Gallardo. With the Gallardo’s successful past looming large, the Huracan had some mighty big shoes to fill, tasked with becoming the Italian automaker’s best-selling model in the lineup. So far, the Huracan has done well in that regard, thanks in no small part to a surprising number of special edition models and limited runs. Now, joining the list is this new special edition from Italdesign, an engineering and design company based out of Moncalieri that decided the Raging Bull just wasn’t angry enough from the factory. As such, Italdesign gave the Huracan this wild-looking all-composite exterior treatment, transforming the Lambo into something that looks like it was plucked from an arcade racing game frequented by Ritalin-toting ADD cases. Only five will be produced, with production slated to stop by the end of the year.
Coinciding with the release of the limited-run Huracan, Italdesign, which has worked closely with Lambo in the past, is also introducing the Italdesign Automobili Speciali brand, so it’s likely we’ll see similar treatments sometime in the near future.
Italdesign says its upgraded Huracan is “intended for collectors and visionary enthusiasts, [and] it combines racing car features and performance alongside type-approval for use on normal roads.”
Sure thing, Italdesign. Because after all, who wouldn’t wanna drive a race-ready Lambo down to the shops for a quart of milk?
This customized Lambo will make its debut at the Geneva International Motor Show alongside an exclusive Excalibur Spider timepiece from watchmaker Roger Dubuis, signaling a collaborative partnership between the two companies. No price has been announced for the car, but rest assured it’s firmly in the “if you have to ask” category. As reference, the “normal” Lamborghini Huracan retails for about $230,000, give or take.

2016 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder
Launched for the 2015 model year as a successor to the very popular Gallardo, the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 has already received a couple of race-ready versions: the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP620-2 Super Trofeo and the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan GT3. But to be able to replace the Gallardo completely, the Huracan needs to spawn even more iterations, including a Roadster and a lighter, Superleggera model. At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Italians have finally unveiled the drop-top version, dubbed thee Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder.
With the 2015 McLaren 650S Spider already on the street and with Ferrari having just unveiled the 2016 Ferrari 488 Spider as a successor to the iconic 2012 Ferrari 458 Spider, Lamborghini had no choice but to bring its very own drop-top to the party earlier than it did with the Gallardo.
And so it did, as the Huracan Spider arrived only a year after the coupe broke cover, whereas the Gallardo needed about three years to receive an open-top version. Keep reading for the full rundown.

2016 Lamborghini Centenario
Sometime in the 1960s, a successful tractor builder in northern Italy bought a Ferrari 250 GT. Unfortunately, he didn’t think much of it. So, he brought his complaints directly to Enzo Ferrari, who responded by telling him he should stick to building tractors. After the rude dismissal, Ferruccio Lamborghini decided he could do better and started his own car company.
2016 is the year of Ferruccio’s 100th birthday, so to mark the milestone, Lamborghini built a limited-production supercar as a tribute to the company’s founder. The Centenario, was reportedly shown to prospective buyers as a 3D hologram model during the 2015 Monterey Car Week and has now officially made its debut at the Geneva Auto Show. Only 20 units in coupe form and 20 units in roadster form will be built, with all 40 units already spoken for prior to its debut.
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Lamborghini, said, “The Centenario is a car that perfectly combines tradition and innovation. It looks to the future while honoring the legend that is Ferruccio Lamborghini. The Centenario is an opportunity for our designers and engineers to transcend some of the constraints of series car production to achieve an incomparable result: the Centenario has immediately proved itself as a desirable collectors’ car, while demonstrating new Lamborghini technologies and outstanding performance. It is the most fitting tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini in his centenary year: a man who created an exceptional brand, believed that anything was possible, and produced extraordinary, iconic cars. The Centenario is a super sports car for Ferruccio Lamborghini and the future he and we believe in today.”
So, with that said, let’s dive on in a take a look at Lamborghini’s new Centenario and see if we can discover why, outside of its limited production run, it was able to sell out so quickly.

2017 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Avio
Lamborghini rocked the 2016 Geneva Motor Show with the Centenario, a sleek and aggressive, limited-edition supercar built to celebrate Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday. Limited to 40 units that were sold for at least $1.9 million long before the actual car was unveiled, the Centenario was definitely among the hottest vehicles showcased in Switzerland this year. However, it wasn’t the only new Lambo parked in the company’s booth. The extreme Centenario was joined by a milder supercar based on the entry-level Huracan. It goes by the name LP 610-4 Avio and pays tribute to the world of aviation and aeronautics.
Limited to 250 examples, the Avio is actually the first special-edition Huracan and joins a lineup that includes significantly modified versions such as the LP 620-2 Super Trofeo, LP 610-4 Spyder, and LP 580-2. Judging by the fact that its predecessor spawned more than 20 versions and limited-edition models, it’s safe to assume that the Avio is the first in a very long line of special Huracan-based supercars.
The LP 610-4 Avio arrives in dealerships this summer, with North America likely to receive a significant allocation of the 250 units. Find out more about it below.

Rumors of a rear-wheel-drive Lamborghini Huracan have been flying around since 2014, when when CEO Stephan Winkelman said the Italian brand sees no reason to "not do a rear-drive option." More than a year has passed since then, and Lambo finally unveiled the RWD Huracan at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Dubbed Huracan LP 580-2, the new entry-level, rear-wheel-drive sports car is by no means a surprising move from Sant’Agata Bolognese. Much like the standard Huracan replaced the Gallardo, the RWD arrives as a spiritual successor to the Gallardo LP 550-2, which Lambo launched in 2010 as the lowest priced model in the Gallardo line-up. Just like its predecessor, the Huracan LP 580-2 is more than just a RWD version of the regular Huracan, having a less powerful engine and revised front and rear fascias.
Engineered and tuned for an even more intense driving experience, the LP 580-2 is described as "the purest expression of a Lamborghini to date." In other words, it is aimed at purists who would rather drive a tail-happy sports car than an AWD Lambo that’s safer, but less exciting to hoon around.
If the Gallardo LP 550-2 is any indication, the Huracan LP 580-2 should be followed by a roadster and a more powerful version. But, until that happens, let’s have a closer look at the very first RWD iteration of the Huracan.

Lamborghini launched the SuperVeloce specification all the way back in the 1960s, first appearing on the Miura, the nameplate that basically introduced the world to the mid-engine supercar. Dropped when the Miura was discontinued, the SV name returned nearly 30 years later when Lambo showcased the 1995-1999 Lamborghini Diablo SV at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show. Since then, every range-topping Lambo has gotten an SV version. There was a Murcielago SV, and the Aventador SuperVeloce was presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
But while the SV badge has graced four different supercars as of 2015, not all of then have been offered as roadsters. The Miura was built as a coupe only (except for a one-off roadster), while the only drop-top version of the Diablo was based on the less powerful VT. The Murcielago was the first SV to lose its roof, which makes the Aventador only the second drop-top Lambo to carry the high-performance badge.
The car just broke cover at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, which means it’s time to have a closer look at the most powerful Lamborghini ever to benefit from infinite headroom.

All of the big names in the performance category are jumping into the hybrid supercar ring. The Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 have been dominating headlines with their prodigious performance, but now there is one more contender jumping into the game. Lamborghini has just unveiled a hybrid supercar called the Asterion. It is a plug-in hybrid, more similar to the Porsche 918 than the machines from McLaren and Ferrari. The system uses a trio of electric motors along with a gasoline-powered, V-10 engine to create a monumental 897 horsepower. The results are a zero to 60 time that hovers around 3 seconds, a top speed of around 200 mph, and it will travel for more than 30 miles on pure electric power alone.
The only thing about the Asterion that isn’t amazing seems to be the looks. The design is a bit questionable in these first photos, but we expect it will be like the Porsche Panamera; prettier in person than in print. The Italian Stampede sounds as if it is a horrific running of wild bulls that includes lots of carnage and body parts. Well, in reality, it is a wonderful collection of various Italian supercars “racing” from Los Angeles to Monterey, California. Why Monterey? Well, that just so happens to be where the Concorso Italiano is being held.
This year, there is a special entrant leading the pack and that is a 2006 Lamborghini Murcielago wrapped in matte pink from front to rear and top to bottom. So why in the world is this Lamborghini all in pink? Well, the Lamborghini Club America is holding a Gala on Saturday to help support breast cancer awareness and this car is to help draw attention to both the Gala and the seriousness of breast cancer awareness.
We spoke with Andrew Romanowski, the President of the Lamborghini Club America and owner of this wrapped Lambo, and he let us know that it was not only the Lamborghini Club America involved in this great benefit, but Al & Ed’s Autosound and Protective Film Solutions also had a large hand in making this car a possibility.
While we had him on the phone, Andrew let us in on a little more info about the car. It is a 2006 model with an aftermarket exhaust system. We didn’t get into power numbers, as he was at the Concorso Italiano and we didn’t want to keep him from the droves of folks asking about this fantastic car and cause, but we assume this system would add about 10 to 15 extra ponies to its already stout 6.2-liter V-12 engine that pumps out 580 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 479 pound-feet of torque at 5,400 rpm.
