2019 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder
The Lamborghini Huracán was introduced in 2014 as the Italian supercar maker’s next-gen entry-level model, following in the footsteps of the ever-popular Lamborghini Gallardo. In January of 2019, Lamborghini revealed the second-generation Huracán EVO Coupé, and now the Raging Bull is dropping the top with the Huracán EVO Spyder at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. Slotting in as the second entry in Lambo’s modern V-10 stable, the Huracán EVO Spyder is equipped with the same go-stuff as the hardtop, including a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter powerplant, adaptive suspension components, and eye-popping aerodynamics. However, as an added bonus, the Huracán EVO Spyder adds in unlimited headroom, all without compromising the Huracán EVO’s impressive performance capabilities.

2019 Lamborghini Urus
The SUV assault continues, filtering into every niche of every market imaginable. With so much demand out there, just about every automaker on the planet is getting in on the action, including some with a history that deviates quite a bit from the SUV norm. That includes Lamborghini, which just unveiled the Urus, a follow-up to the cult classic LM002. This time around, Lambo is doing it right, giving the Urus super car-esque agility, speed, and performance, all with a sharp (yet jacked-up) body style crammed with luxury and even a little off-road worthiness. Lambo is calling it the first Super Sport Utility Vehicle, but makes like Porsche and Bentley might have a few words to say about that.
Either way, this is a breakthrough moment for the Raging Bull. While the LM002 was arguably the brand’s first “real” SUV, you can’t really compare it to the hyperspeed Urus. While the old Ramboghini got square styling and somewhat plodding performance, the Urus looks and acts like a Lambo should. It’s also got the first-ever turbocharged engine in a Lambo. All told, Lamborghini claims this thing has a “dual personality” and is “multi-dimensional” in what it can do. But the question is this – where does it land amongst the bevy of fast luxury SUVs already on the market?

The 2019 Lamborghini Urus Makes Its Glorious Debut
Tasked with the demanding position of being the first SUV in 25 years to wear a Lamborghini badge, the Lamborghini Urus has finally made its debut. It rides on the same MLB platform that underpins the Bentley Bentayga, Audi Q7, and Porsche Cayenne, but carries a face and an attitude all its own. The body style is as aggressive, if not more so than the concept that came before it while its mean-as-hell attitude comes via a turbocharged, 4.0-liter, V-8 that’s good for a potent but modest 650 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. And, when I say “mean as hell,” I’m not kidding. How High will Lamborghini’s Sales Climb before they Level Out?
Lamborghini is a pretty exclusive company – maybe not so much as other high-end manufacturers out there, but exclusive enough that 2015 was a record year for the company with just 3,245 vehicles sold worldwide. That accounts for an averages sales volume of just 8.89 units per day throughout all of last year. With that said, we don’t know exactly what Lambo is doing that works, but the brand is already off to a good start this year with 2,013 vehicles delivered to customers in the first six months of the year.
Of the 2,013 vehicles, 1,370 examples were Huracáns and just 643 were Aventadors. Of the Aventador, one was the 5,000th example produced. In June of this year alone, the brand managed to deliver 416 units, making it the most successful month on record. And, it looks like this year will only get better for the manufacturer as the order books has Lambo feeling like 2016 might be its most successful year in its long history.
Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of Lamborghini, said, “Thanks to the enlargement of the Huracán family, including the introduction of the Spyder and rear-wheel drive version in markets worldwide in spring this year, we were able to deliver an exceptional sales performance in the first six months of 2016. With a solid order bank, not only for the Huracán but also for our V12 model the Aventador, we aim to outperform the last year’s sales record yet again."
Will Lambo be able to pull off another record year? Only time will tell, but it’s sure on the right path.
DMC Luxury has applied its wild Molto Veloce and LP900 upgrade kits to the Aventador Roadster to create the first modified example of this brand-new exotic from Lamborghini. Called the Aventador Roadster ‘Black’, the DMC upgrade includes a laundry list of exterior carbon fiber styling mods to go along with the frightening engine note and intimidating looks.
As if any Aventador needs more street cred, the DMC team’s comprehensive exterior make-over is quite effective at making your Aventador Roadster one of a kind - and looking like an escapee from the nearest race circuit.
The modifications on the DMC prototype show off the wide variety of upgrades offered by the supercar specialist. In fact, all the upgrades shown are available individually as well. Pricing requires significant cash reserves, or perhaps your own oil field. Even so, the upgrades are more custom-tailored and actually far cheaper than ordering all the dress-up aerodynamic accessories directly from Sant’Agata.
As its name implies, this DMC Aventador is indeed Molto Veloce - which means too hot to touch - in the desert sun of the firm’s press photos. With three custom Lambo’s parked on the street in front of the firm’s Marbella showroom, it looks like DMC has no shortage of wealthy owners seeking the ultimate in supercar personalization.

With the Gallardo lineup winding into its final production years, everyone is antsy to get a look at the all-new Cabrera. With Lamborghini being, well, Lamborghini, it tends to play its cards very close to its chest and only the information it wants out gets out – unlike GM, which has many leaky valves.
Fortunately for us, Lamborghini has been more giving than usual, as it has released just enough information about the Cabrera to keep us interested. So far we know that Lamborghini is calling the Cabrera’s design a “revolution not an evolution,” so we can assume that the its body will be significantly different than the Gallardo. As you can see from our rendering, we anticipate it to take some of the Sesto Elemento’s styling cues.
We have also learned that the Cabrera will be a much simpler lineup than the Gallardo, so we won’t see the laundry list of available options, as we do on the current Gallardo. We also know that the Cabrera will feature the same 5.2-liter V-10 as the Gallardo and will likely boast a supercharger to pump it up to 600, or more, horsepower.
The Cabrera will carry over the same 6-speed automated manual transmission as the Gallardo. The traditional manual transmission was axed as a possibility recently. We have also heard that it will definitely come in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive is still on the table.
Add in the fact that is will feature carbon fiber body panels to drop its weight by 66 lbs and you will get a supercar that hits 60 mph in only 3.4 seconds – roughly 0.2 seconds quicker than the base Gallardo – and a 203 mph top speed.
We’ll keep an eye out for more information to make its way onto the wire, but given the history of Lamborghini, we likely have to wait until it is good and ready to drop the info.
After several days of teasing us with what looked to be an all-new Gallardo, Lamborghini has decided to lift the veil off of this beast and give us a look at it. This all-new Lambo, dubbed the Gallardo LP 560-4, made its debut in Paris alongside its slightly upgraded counterpart, the Gallardo 570-4 Edizione Technica.
Overall, the Gallardo’s body will remain intact from last year’s model, but Lambo will be making mild additions to the already sexy body. The real question remains whether Lamborghini actually improved upon its entry-level – if you can really call any Lamborghini an “entry-level car – supercar’s already popular appearance, or were these changes simply unnecessary and counterproductive.

As if Lamborghini needed any more help developing super-fast cars that can nearly keep pace with F1 racecars, it is now dedicating an entire facility to developing and researching new cars. Yep, Lamborghini has just opened up its Prototype and Concept Development Center – that’s Sviluppo prototipi e vetture pre serie in Italian – to help it develop and test its new concept cars.
An important feature to this facility is that it also houses a miniature assembly line. This allows engineers to monitor exactly how new cars come together and what flaws develop in the manufacturing process. This small assembly line will also be responsible for running off Lamborghini’s limited production models, like the upcoming and non-street-legal production Sesto Elemento.
This is truly an impressive show of dedication to manufacturing only the best vehicles that are as flawless as they possibly can be, but also looks like a huge waste of money. Then again, who are we to question Lamborghini’s ways? There is obviously reasoning behind this dedicated factory, we just don’t see its real-life purpose just yet.
On an aside, Lamborghini reps are also touting the construction of the building itself, as it is the first ever multi-story industrial building that earned a “Class A” energy certification. So, not only will this building build some of the baddest concept cars ever made, but it will conserve energy in the process.
Ever since Stephan Winkelmann confirmed that the stunning Sesto Elemento was in fact heading to production in very limited numbers, very little news about the car has been released. Until now.
Before we get to the juicy details, let’s just recap what we have already known for months. First and foremost, we can confirm that the Sesto Elemento will be produced in a run of just 20 units, with each set to feature almost identical bodywork to that of the original concept. Additionally, we’ve previously confirmed that the car will feature the same 5.2-liter V10 borrowed from the Gallardo which the concept implemented.
Furthermore, we also know that the car should launch from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds, but apart from those aforementioned details, very little is known about the car. However, thanks to a report at Automobile Magazine additional details about the Sesto have finally come out of the shadows.
Previously, it was speculated that the production variant would be road-legal, but if AM is correct, the Sesto Elemento will be limited to track-use and will hit a top speed of 219 mph, rather than the approximate 186 mph figure which was once expected.
Conjointly, Automobile Magazine reports that the Sesto will be priced at just under $2.5 million, rather than the previous $3.44 million rumored figure, although we cannot confirm the legitimacy of that claim.
Finally, the Sesto Elemento is expected to hit production in 2013, meaning a debut of the production variant is likely to be slated for late this year.
Rumors about a possible Lamborghini SUV have been circulating for a very long time, with the first whispers beginning back in 2007. Since then, Lamborghini has denied plans for the monster mobile numerous times, but after Bentley confirmed the addition of an SUV to their line-up, Lamborghini started drinking from the rumor pool for ideas. Now plans for a Lamborghini SUV are in full force, joining the Aventador and Gallardo on the list of Lamborghini’s newest models and nixing the thought of a production version of the Estoque.
Lamborghini unveiled a first concept version at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, but new reports are stating that the production version won’t be following it in the near future. Lamborghini CEO has confirmed that a production version won’t go on sale until late in 2017. This is actual a rather strange move considering Bentley is preparing to unveil their production version of the EXP 9 F SUV concept in the next three years.
The production version of the Lamborghini SUV will be powered by a revamped version of the Gallardo’s V10 gasoline unit, although the Urus concept came with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 600 HP.
"We definitely need a third line in the mid- and long term," said CEO Stephan Winkelmann to a German paper. "An SUV would be the first Lamborghini for everyday use, not just for the race track or weekends. We would have the opportunity to win new customers. It usually takes 48 months until an all-new vehicle arrives at dealers, so the new Lamborghini would not be available to buy before 2017."
Updated 07/12/2012: The British magazine CAR is reporting that next Lamborghini SUV will be priced at about €170,000 - or about $210,000 at the current exchange rates. With this price the production version will be about €20,000 ($25,000) cheaper than the Gallardo

There are a few internet speculators that are anticipating the exotic Italian super car builder Lamborghini will unveil their topless version of the jet fighter inspired Reventon at the upcoming auto show this September. It would make sense for the Reventon Roadster to say hello to the entire world from Frankfurt, after all it was at the same show two years ago that the very stealth like Reventon made its official debut.
Details about the upcoming open air Lamborghini are not very clear, especially when it comes to the engine that will power the new Reventon. Initial rumors said that vehicle will use the same engine as the Lamborghini LP670-4SV, but the automaker might have problems putting all that power to the ground safely in a Roadster body. So the only thing that is left is the engine from the Lamborghini LP650-4 Roadster.
Either way it won’t matter which engine they choose, because the most attractive feature of the Reventon is its exterior, and because the it will be built as an extremely limited edition model, demand for the open air Reventon will always be in the stratosphere no matter how much power it makes, but will it be ready in time for Frankfurt?
