• 2011 Range Rover Sport Diablo by Project Kahn

LISTEN 01:38

British tuning firm Project Kahn is no stranger to working up some awesome aerodynamic and performance upgrades for the Range Rover so it really didn’t come as a shock to us when the British tuning firm released yet another one of its programs for the British luxury SUV.

This time, Project Kahn is calling their new Range Rover program the ‘Diablo’, an SUV that touches on all of our hidden dark sides: cold, calculated, and ready to pounce at any given time.

Project Kahn made sure to give the Range Rover ‘dark’ and mysterious exterior upgrades, including carbon fiber bullet side vents that were given a red finish. The front lower lip was also given the same red carbon fiber treatment as were the rubber side steps, which were also dressed in red. Then there’s the set of 22” RS lightweight wheels with – you guessed it – red lining running the circumference of the wheels. All the red accents on the Range Rover perfectly compliment the gloss black finish, providing the perfect metaphorical two-tone color of the Diablo.

Inside, Project Kahn dressed up the Range Rover with more of its signature luxury digs, giving the cabin a “bespoke touch” with a leather trim that can be personalized according to the customer’s whims and tastes.

Project Kahn has always prided itself on the body kit programs they create for the Range Rover, and the Diablo is no different. These guys are as ‘against the grain’ as any tuning company we know, so we didn’t really expect anything less than unique and different, which the Range Rover Diablo is.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read full bio

There is really something about a black Range Rover, that makes me want to look at it longer. It certainly makes the car much more aggressive.

Well, it is really a Diablo on its engine output! smiley it is great that they justify its name even the aggressive appearance of this vehicle. Anyway, the body kit of this one seems so perfect already.

Probably one of the best looking Range Rover works that I have seen in a while. I really love how Kahn was able to make the car look more striking.

Well, I really don’t know what to expect on they haven’t mentioned the boost power of this car if there’s any.. I think they have modified the look more than the engine performance. Well, its the same with other aftermarket company.

I can’t see any unique style of this new Range Rover Sport Diablo, The model seems to be an ordinary release just like any other Range Rover. The only thing that i like is that the hidden dark sides, cold and calculated color, that makes inside its own privacy.

Afzal Khan and the boys certainly did well here. I like the fact that they of more for simplicity rather than going too over the top on the rover.

I really like the choice of colors for this one, it made the Rover look like one of those “black ops” vehicles that you see on TV. Nice boost on the performance too.

The thing that I like about this one is the wheels, pretty good choice. They fit in nicely with the overall look of the car and accents it well.

I am really loving what Khan did with this Rover, it isn’t flashy at all, but it still has that aggressive look all over it. That black color scheme suits it rather well.

Khan really did a superb job on this Rover. The all black color is definitely a looker on this one, especially the wheels, which also are superb.
