Kahn Design->ke1726 is well-known for the bespoke luxury vehicles it crafts, but none are more well-known than its Land Rover->ke46 Range Rovers. This Ranger Rover 4.4 Autobiography Long Wheel Base RS-600 Performance Edition is its latest creation.

While its name is almost as long as its extended wheelbase, this Range Rover->ke469 comes with a plethora of upgrades and unique touches. For starters, the Rover gets a wire-mesh grille with double vents. Around the sides, the aero kit becomes very noticeable, and the extra-wide fender flairs help accentuate the up-sized 305-series tires. The performance rubber is mounted on 9.5-by-23-inch RS wheels finished in a menacing matte black. Matching the black wheels are black mirror caps, and side vents. Those are contrasted by the stunning Paris Grey paint.

The inside is also revamped. Perforated leather seats in black help keep occupants heated and cooled depending on the temperature, while also providing a welcomed back massage after a particularly long day. Machined aluminum pedals, stainless-steel door-entry sill plates, center console trim and steering wheel center are all branded with the Kahn logo.

While a conventional Range Rover Autobiography LWB isn’t "cheap" by any stretch of the imagination, this Kahn Design example takes pricing to another level. As it sits, this vehicle costs a cool $207,462 as of 10/6/2014.

Land Rover Range Rover RS-600 Performance Edition By Kahn Design in detail

The Kahn Design interior features a host of upgrades. Most noticeable are the perforated leather seats with grey inserts. The steering wheel center gets a slight modification and the pedals are swapped out for aluminum units. In all, the updates are subtle yet distinguishable from the standard Range Rover.

Unfortunately, Kahn isn't one to upgrade engines too often, and there is no mention of engine updates for this Range Rover. In its standard state of tune, the Range Rover Autobiography LWB carries a 5.0-liter, supercharged V-8 that produced 510 ponies and 461 pound-feet of torque.

Land Rover Range Rover

Land Rover’s Range Rover is an exceptional vehicle that somehow combines the best of a high-class limousine and a hard-core off-roader. Formed on the basis of Land Rover’s explorative heritage, the Range Rover has the ability to traverse lands not otherwise passable by other vehicles. The Range Rover has a full-time four-wheel-drive system that includes a low range. An air suspension adjusts the ride height to tailor the driving experience.

In the U.S., the Range Rover comes with the powerful 5.0-liter, supercharged V-8 rocking 510 horsepower and 461 pound-feet of torque. With an all-aluminum chassis, the Range Rover is exceptionally lightweight for its size.

Pricing for the Range Rover Long Wheelbase model starts at $106,225 and goes north from there. Selecting the Autobiography packages sends the price to a staggering $143,025.
