2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Autobiography by Kahn Automobiles
English aftermarket company, Kahn Automobiles, is known to create ravishing examples of stock vehicles. The company has been doing it for years, and the latest model to roll out is the Land Rover Range Rover Sport Autobiography. This black beauty receives a whole lot of new equipment on the outside to make it look sportier than it already is. The example here is a 2018 pre-worshipped model and has 9,000 miles on the odometer. The asking price breaches the six-digit mark when converted to USD. Worth it?
Have You Ever Wondered What A Land Rover Defender Would Look Like As A Pickup Truck?
The Land Rover Defender is a capable off-roader with a lot of off-road tech and equipment fused with a conventional, boxy design. Even though it has all the characteristics to shine as a pickup truck, don’t expect it to happen any time soon.
However, that doesn’t mean that enthusiasts can’t imagine what it looks like. A rendering artist, Andrew Alewine, uploaded an image of the Defender imagined as a full-size pickup truck. Do you think it looks the part to take on the likes of the Ford F-150 and the Chevy Silverado?
Stretched Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography By Klassen
Klassen has stretched several luxury vehicles in the past. According to their website, they have worked on the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, Range Rover Autobiography, Bentley Bentayga, and the Mercedes G-Class.Most recently, the company stretched and armored a Cullinan and put a $2 million price tag on it.
It has even worked on minivans like the Mercedes-Benz V-Class and the Sprinter. Now, the company has laid its hands on a Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography and given it a typical Klassen treatment. The SUV is stretched by 40 inches and is completely bulletproof. How’s that for a royal car?
Land Rover Looking to Shed Cylinders From its Range-Topping V-8 Diesel
In this day and age, with electrification being pushed hard and fines from emissions regulations capable of putting automakers in the ground if they don’t comply, every manufacturer has started downsizing and electrifying engines to carry on business as usual. Now a new report from autocar – one that cites “auto parts suppliers” claims that Land Rover’s aging 4.4-liter, Ford-sourced, diesel V-8 is set to be replaced by something smaller, but the question is what?
The 2020 Land Rover Defender Takes a Bashing In James Bond No Time To Die Rehearsals
We knew for some time that the new 2020 Land Rover Defender will play a big role in the upcoming No Time to Die 007 movie, but the only proof we had was an all-black prototype photographed on the set.
This time around, Land Rover provides a glimpse into what we should expect from the movie when it comes to the Defender’s part, and boy, you won’t be disappointed, we can tell you that much.
2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HST - Driven
SUVs are the latest trend but that is nothing new to Range Rover. The first Range Rover was introduced in 1970 and the brand has been making premium SUVs for decades so the idea of a luxury SUV is nothing new. Of course, luxury in 1970 and luxury in 2020 are totally different. For 2020, Range Rover sells tons of different variations starting as llow as $37,800 all the way north of $200,000.
We decided to drive the new 2020 Range Rover Sport HST. The HST has black wheels and a black roof and looks to be the sporty alternative to your regular Range Rover. The exterior is perfectly proportioned and looks very aggressive and luxurious at the same time. It still retains the boxy styling with large windows which is great because that translates into more room inside and better visibility.
Watch an Old Yellow Jeep Save a Range Rover That’s Stuck in the Sand
Land Rover Range Rovers are highly touted for their off-road prowess as much as their upscale and luxurious reputations. But every so often, even Superman needs some help. That proved to be the case in this video when a Range Rover, as capable as it is, got stuck in soft sand. Helpless in their predicament, the owners of the Range Rover called upon, of all things, a Jeep, arguably the only off-roader that’s as capable as the British SUV. To be fair, the Jeep is a recovery vehicle so it’s set up specifically for that purpose. Still, it is amusing to see a Jeep pulling a Range Rover out of its perilous predicament. It just goes to show that even one of the best luxury off-road SUVs sometimes still needs a little help.
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 Will Have a New BMW-Powered Competitor in the Land Rover Defender SVR
Hear this out: Jaguar Land Rover is hiding a high-performance prototype based on the new Defender which will ultimately make it to production under the SVR badge. The model is currently developed by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division and when it finally hatches, the Defender SVR will use a 4.4-liter BMW-sourced engine in its attempt to give the Mercedes-AMG G 63 a run for its money.
2019 Land Rover Defender 6x6 Black Mamba by Classic Overland
The 2020 Land Rover Defender was recently launched, and it was well-received by world. The Defender is one of the toughest off-roaders we have seen even in the past. So much so, in fact, that aftermarket companies took it in as their guinea pig and worked on it in various different ways. Here’s one such company called Classic Overland that turned this beast into something extraordinary. The 6x6 Defender is the ultimate off-roader that will conquer anything and everything in its path. But, where will you take this?
Can The 2020 Land Rover Defender Tackle The Harsh Desert in Dubai?
Land Rover is finally bringing back the Defender as a 2020 model. The rugged SUV was in production from 1983 to 2016, after which it went on a short exile for a few years. The company has teased the new Defender a few times, and this time, it decided to put out a video that shows the SUV doing test runs in some extreme conditions. The new Defender prototype was taken to Sharjah and handed over to the Red Cross Experts to test on the mighty sand dunes in the desert. Is the 2020 Defender still as tough as its previous iterations?
Land Rover Defender by ECD Auto Design
Land Rover Defender is not a new name. The off-road compact SUV came to life with this moniker in the 1980s, before which it was known as the Land Rover Ninety and Land Rover One Ten. This vehicle went off the production line in 2016, but such was the craze that the automaker had to cave into the customers’ demands, so it rolled out a special edition of the Defender called the Defender Works V-8 in 2018. The Defender, as is with any off-road truck, has been at the mercy of its owners and we have seen many customized versions of the same. But this one particular company called ECD Automotive Design specializes in customizing Defenders. It recently experimented with a customer Defender 130 and the results have made our day.
2019 Land Rover Range Rover SV Autobiography by SVO - Driven
When you put words like luxury, performance, and SUV in the same sentence, the first names that probably come to mind are BMW, Audi, Bentley, or maybe even Lamborghini. But, what about Land Rover? It seems to be a brand that resides in the shadowy depths of our brains instead of up front where it really belongs. This never became more evident until we managed to get our hands on a Land Rover Range Rover SVAutobiography. From the second we came into contact with the SVA, the exterior design started tickling our interest, and we only became more fascinated with it once we sat down inside. In short, we couldn’t wait to drive it and experience the whole package. How does it handle? Is it comfortable for longer drives? Is that 557-horsepower V-8 too much for a vehicle like this or not enough, and how does its performance stack up against the competition? We decided to find out for ourselves, and this is our experience with the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover SVAutobiography.
Land Rover Teases The New Defender
Land Rover teased a picture of a new off-roader yesterday. Although the company hasn’t mentioned the name or any other details, we are guessing it’s the new Defender. The off-roader, in the picture, is seen ramping out of a trailer, covered in zebra camouflage, looking kind of like a Mercedes G-Class. What an early Christmas present this is!
2019 BMW X7 vs 2019 Land Rover Range Rover
Big SUVs are as popular as ever, with buyers flocking to dealers to get the very latest in tall-riding, high-end utility vehicles. The latest from BMW is the X7, which sits above the X5 in terms of size and passenger capacity, arriving as a brand-new model line for the Bavarians. By contrast, the Land Rover Range Rover is well-established as the go-to model for a combination of functionality and luxury, like a penthouse suite on wheels that you can drive through a mud puddle. Both are mighty impressive, but how do they compare? To find out, we took an in-depth look at both, including a rundown on the exterior styling, interior design, features, drivetrain, performance, technology, and price. Read on for all the important info you need to know!
2018 Land Rover Red Cross Discovery Emergency Response Vehicle
Behind the glitz and glamour of the 2018 Paris Motor Show, Land Rover presented a one-off Discovery that it created for the Red Cross. The model is called the Red Cross Discovery Emergency Response Vehicle, and it was developed as part of an 18-month collaboration between Land Rover’s Special Vehicles Operations (SVO) and the Austrian Red Cross. The Discovery is unlike standard Discovery models. Among other things, it features state-of-the-art communications technology that’s there to help save lives.
As Land Rover’s flagship SUV, the Range Rover has quite a billing to live up to. It should come as no surprise that as its flagship it can be had on a regular wheelbase or a longer wheelbase – the latter of which offers an astounding 7.3-inches of extra legroom in the rear. We’re still not sure why you would choose to ride instead of drive, but to each their own, we suppose. Either way, it’s offered with a number of drivetrains that include a supercharged V-8, a plug-in hybrid, and there’s even a diesel engine up for the taking if you prefer the oil burners. Power offerings range anywhere between 254 horsepower and 557 horsepower In the Range Rover Sport SVR. More important, though, is the fact that this baby is off-road capable as well. Even if you don’t have one in your driveway, you can have it on your desktop free of charge. We’ve hand-picked our favorite Range Rover wallpaper, but if it’s not good enough for you, we’ve included a nice little gallery for you to choose from as well.
2019 Land Rover Range Rover SV Coupe
First introduced in 1970 under the British Leyland brand, the Range Rover was initially offered exclusively in a two-door body style, with a four-door version arriving much later in 1981. Now in its fourth generation, the Range Rover is about to get back to its two-door roots with a new limited edition called the SV Coupe. Created as a joint effort between Land Rover Design and Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), the Range Rover SV Coupe brings unique exterior style matched with superlative interior comfort and a serious wallop under the hood - for a price, of course.

Land Rover Aims to Take on the Bentley Bentayga with a Two-Door Range Rover
The auto industry has become increasingly competitive in recent years, and it seems that a lot of carmakers are set on launching the "world’s first" anything. With so many niches and technology around, this mission is becoming harder and harder each year, but some companies still find ways to brag about introducing something entirely new. Land Rover is the latest to join the pack with the Range Rover SV Coupe. Launched at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, it’s essentially a two-door version of the big Range Rover, and it’s described as the "world’s first full-size luxury SUV coupe." Yey marketing!
The Range Rover Sport Seriously Climbed Heaven’s Gate
The Land Rover Range Rover Sport has already established itself as a do-it-all SUV that can tackle the roughest of terrains. Still, the folks over at Land Rover probably didn’t feel too confident about adding its ability to conquer China’s daunting Dragon Road in Tianmen Mountain in any one of the SUV’s brochures. Nobody’s done the challenge before because it’s thought to be impossible. The road itself is notorious for its 99 turns, but if that isn’t enough, it culminates with a 999-step, 45-degree angle concrete staircase that leads to the absolutely mesmerizing Heaven’s Gate rock formation. Eager to prove everyone wrong, Land Rover went to China to see if it could make history. Well, it was either that or disaster. Either way, it made for quite the stunt.
Trading Utility for Luxury: Limited Edition Range Rover SV Coupe
As part of its 70th-anniversary celebration, Land Rover is going back to its roots with the introduction of a two-door SUV called the Range Rover SV Coupe. The special edition Range Rover pays tribute to the original two-door Range Rover that made its debut in 1970 and lasted until 1996. 22 years after the last two-door Range exited the stage, the Range Rover SV Coupe is arriving to celebrate the model’s incredible 26-year run and the automaker’s platinum jubilee.
2018 Land Rover Range Rover SVAutobiography

Of course, many of these same updates are found on the standard 2018 Range Rover, too, having undergone a welcomed refresh. The 2018 SVAutobiography is available on the long-wheelbase Range Rover. It comes with ultra-premium levels of luxury fittings and first-class accommodations for rear passengers. As part of the Range Rover’s 2018 update, the dashboard now features the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with two 10-inch touchscreens in the center stack and another 10-inch screen for the fully digital gauge cluster. Other tech features include 4G Wi-Fi hotspot for eight devices, plenty of USB and 12-volt ports, a household power plug. Land Rover’s Connect Pro brings smartphone connection and remote controlling of the vehicle’s systems.
