Lexus extinguished the burning rumors that were circulating about the mysterious LF-A models testing at the Nurburgring by announcing that the company has ZERO plans to create any special edition models of their LF-A super car. Well, we are just not having that and, apparently, neither is one lucky guy that has received his LF-A with a special twist.

The Lexus-owning American has just taken delivery of a LF-A supercar with a very cool Black Amethyst paint. What makes this vehicle so special is that it is the only LF-A to receive this specific paint color. According to the identifying plaques, this is the LF-A number 366, a strange number considering that only 10 units were reported to be produced.

Aside from the unique Black Amethyst exterior paint, the LF-A number 366 also features buff polish wheels combined with black calipers. The interior continues with the same black theme, getting a black steering wheel, black leather door grips, black seat fronts and silver leather seat backs with contrasting white stitching. The package continues with a black headliner, black carpet, black floor mats, black instrument panel, door panel, and center console contrasted with a silver metal trim finish.

What do you think?

Can you customized this kind of car? I don’t find the uniqueness of the combination of color.

I can’t say that its style is unique, but it still is attractive. I can’t say that its engine is powerful, but it still is high-performing. More than those, the components are the highlights of this car. LFA should better decide upon its pricing already.

If only they can launch other colors on LFA, it’ll be more interesting for us to view the LFA main page.

It’s seriously on being black from its component and parts.

The great selection of colors makes it more teasing. Well, I don not like much the idea and deign of this Black Amethyst.

If they have other color bedside Black Amethyst, what are the other?

I think the LFA-B is just a prototype that gives confusion and noise in the automotive world.

If they don’t have plans yet on other versions of LFA, why there was an apparition of LFA-B at Nurburging?

I’m already fond of the Black Amethyst. I’m now looking for other colors for this Lexus LFA.

It’s special because of its color and the bumper.

This LFA has 30 choices of paint, and it includes this Black Amethyst.

Ten units are not enough for people wanting this LFA.

  (419) posted on 07.17.2012

OMG! Is that final number, ten units only for this Black Amethyst?

It’s better to have this Black Amethyst sincerer at their blackness theme. Anyway, it looks great and LFA is still a super car for me.

So what about the LF-A that recently showed up? And this Black Amethyst will e at 10 units only?

It’s just Lexus being serious in black. Look at the “black features” on its interior like floor mats, door panel, carpet and headliner.
