We know that you’ve probably seen the Corsair before – it was released earlier this year, but new for 2020 is the Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring. This Corsair itself is aimed at the younger crowd that don’t need three rows of seating and desire a little more space and now the Grand Touring trim steps in to provide even better fuel economy for those that are more green conscious.
It might not be quite as powerful as the non-hybrid, but the 2.5-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors are said to produce somewhere in the neighborhood of 266 horsepower and Lincoln is “anticipating” a range of 25 miles. AWD also comes courtesy of the electric motors as they exclusively power the rear wheels while the engine handles the duty of driving the front wheels.
In terms of appearance, the Corsair Grand Touring doesn’t stand out my way of any real unique aestetic features, so aside from the exterior badges and the ability to drive silently for a limited period of time, there’s not much else to report. 2020 Lincoln Aviator
The 2020 Lincoln Aviator is a midsize luxury SUV unveiled in 2019 as a replacement for the aging Lincoln MKT. First introduced for the 2003 model year, the Lincoln Aviator was initially offered as a luxury sport utility vehicle for the mid-size segment. After failing to meet sales expectations, Lincoln axed the nameplate in 2005 after just a few years in production. Now, however, as nationwide SUV sales continue onwards into the stratosphere, the Aviator makes its triumphant second-generation return for the 2020 model year, slotting in between the Nautilus and the standard wheelbase Navigator in Lincoln’s lineup. The latest model offers elegant styling, a top-notch interior layout, oodles of comfort, the latest tech, and a super torquey hybrid engine option.

Lincoln launched its first hybrid car, the MKZ Hybrid, in 2011, but it took the luxury brand another seven years to develop a plug-in SUV. The electrified hauler arrived at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show as part of the Aviator lineup, which will replace the MKT. And it’s impressively powerful with 450 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque on tap.
The New Lincoln Aviator Offers Third-Row Seating, Advanced Technology
Lincoln showcased the prototype of the Lincoln Aviator at the New York Auto Show earlier this year. Lincoln planned to slot the Aviator as a mid-size three-row SUV. That opened the gates for the automaker to manufacture the production model of the 2020 Lincoln Aviator, which it unveiled at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.
2019 Lincoln Aviator Headed for L.A. Debut
Thirteen years after departing the mid-size luxury SUV scene, the Lincoln Aviator is all set for its comeback as the production model takes center stage at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. The production version’s debut comes eight months after Lincoln introduced the concept version at the New York Auto Show. Once it arrives, the Aviator will slot between the Nautilus and the range-topping Navigator in Lincoln’s SUV lineup.
2019 Lincoln Nautilus
Introduced in 2006 as a replacement for the Aviator, the Lincoln MKX soldiered on for almost a decade until it was redesigned in 2015. After only two years on the market, the second-generation MKX received its mid-cycle facelift. Launched at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, the midsize crossover was renamed the Nautilus, as part of the company’s new strategy that involves dropping alphanumeric badges. Alongside the new name, the crossover also gained an updated front fascia, now inline with most Lincoln vehicles, new technology, and a new engine under the hood.
Lincoln’s decision to rename the MKX isn’t surprising. The midsize is the firm’s best-selling SUV and a vehicle that attracts most new customers from other brands, with nearly 40 percent reportedly crossing over from Cadillac and Lexus. The Nautilus is supposed to build on the momentum of the MKX, which is on track to deliver its best sales year since 2007. But does it have what it takes to give the Cadillac XT5 a run for its money? Pops’ Rants: Dear Lincoln and BMW, Please Stop Being So Pathetic
Man, this has been a rough week. Automotive-wise. The Los Angeles Auto Show sucked on so many levels. I haven’t seen so many crossovers in one place since the Soccer Mom Annual Meeting. Oh wait, that doesn’t sound right. Give me a minute here... Since the... uhm... wait, I got it... since the... Ah, screw it, I’m not in a mood for jokes. It just sucks! Then there’s the Urus, which isn’t a real Lamborghini and everyone gets excited as if they just launched the second-generation Miura. Do millennials even know what a Miura is? But the worst thing about this year’s L.A. show is that some automakers were set to remind me that press releases have more bullshit than a dairy farm.
Stop calling mild facelifts "brand-new," you half-baked hippies! You’re not fooling anyone.
Yeah, they’re at it again. Especially Lincoln and BMW. The American brand, which is struggling to stay afloat these days, just launched a mid-cycle facelift for the MKC with a new front grille. That’s it, a new grille! And they call it "new" with a "commanding new design." Hello?! It’s a new grille, not a new car. Now repeat after me: a new grille doesn’t make the entire car new. But wait, there’s more. Lincoln also introduced the Nautilus, a brand-new SUV according to the company’s PR division. Except it’s not new. It’s the MKX with a new grille and a new name. Hey, I like the fact that you’re using actual names now Lincoln, but it’s not a brand-new car! I can’t change my name and pretend I’m a new person. Okay, I can actually do that, but I may be spending my final years in a nuthouse. And trust me, the nuthouse isn’t good for business; there’s no room for a car production line in there.
But Lincoln isn’t the only company pretending customers are stupid. BMW also called the facelifted i8 new. Sure, the Roadster version is new indeed, but the coupe is identical to the car launched in 2014, save for the wheels, mildly revised headlamps and taillights, and the 12 extra horsepower. This is the most pathetic facelift I’ve seen in years. It’s not a new car, just a BRAND-NEW way to be lazy and pathetic! Go home BMW; you’re drunk!
Lincoln Updates MKX at L.A. Auto Show, Renames it Nautilus
In 2015, Lincoln confirmed that it’s reviving the Continental name and a production car was unveiled in 2016. Since then, we haven’t heard much about Ford’s premium division, which speaks volumes of how irrelevant Lincoln is nowadays. But the luxury brand is trying really hard to fix that by pushing forward a new naming strategy that involves dropping alphanumeric badges. And even though the facelifted MKC kept its name, the revised MKX was launched at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show as the Nautilus.
Leaked Images Confirm that Lincoln Nautilus will Replace Lincoln MKX
Lincoln has revealed its L.A. Auto Show-bound mystery vehicle, and it’s called the Lincoln Nautilus. It has a new name and a new design, but the Nautilus isn’t exactly an all-new model, but rather an updated version of the MKX SUV. Beyond the decision to drop the MK nomenclature on the SUV, the Nautilus is different in a lot of ways compared to its predecessor. It features a more modern design, prominently shown by the adoption of the Continental’s front grille. Those who didn’t approve of the MKX’s split front end look finally got their wish. Apart from the grille, the Nautilus also gets a good number of new design features, including smaller headlights and a more traditional front bumper layout.
2019 Lincoln MKC
Introduced in 2014, the MKC is Lincoln’s smallest crossover yet. Built on the Ford Global C platform, it’s related to the Ford Escape and Kuga, and its purpose is to bring Lincoln a share of the booming SUV market. And with sales of over 20,000 units per year since 2015, it’s safe to say that the MKC was a successful nameplate until now. Much more so now, since it has introduced more people to the brand, with nearly half of all MKC customers coming from other carmakers. After three years on the market, the MKC is getting its mid-cycle facelift for the 2019 model year.
Although far from comprehensive, the update did introduce the small crossover to Lincoln’s new corporate front grille. First seen on the Continental and then added to the massive Navigator, the new one-piece grille is adds a more imposing look to the small SUV, as well as a more upscale look due to all the chrome. However, changes are far from significant beyond this design element, with mostly everything being carried over, save for new interior trim for the Black Label versions and a few extra driving aids. Will this mild upgrade be enough to keep sales high? Let’s find out.

2017 Lincoln MKZ
Lincoln has always been Ford’s luxury brand, but when stacked against other luxury brands like Mercedes and Lexus, some feel Lincoln just doesn’t compete. Even with the release of the MK series, Lincoln still couldn’t get the following it really wanted. That said, Lincoln felt it was necessary to redesign it for the 2017 model year with some new features and styling.
Most of the time, a “redesign” in the automotive world isn’t really a redesign as much as it is an adjustment to current looks – but that isn’t exactly the case with the 2017 MKZ. It features a new grille design and some new features, but it looks a lot like the 2013 concept we saw a couple years back.
In a press release announcing the 2017 MKZ, Kumar Galhotra, President of Lincoln, said, “Our customers are looking for three attributes in a luxury midsize sedan – technologies that ease their everyday experience, a beautiful design that is crafted with attention to detail, and a vehicle with impressive power that makes it a pleasure to drive.” He continued, “The new Lincoln MKZ elevates all of these attributes – and many more – to create a compelling entry in this large and highly competitive portion of the luxury market.”
The new MKZ has a lot of available options like adaptive cruise control, a concert-quality audio system, and enhanced park assist, among others. Lincoln customers can even get exclusive in-home design consultation if they option for a Black Label interior package. So, the real question is whether or not the 2017 Lincoln MKZ will live up to the luxury hype and actually be able to fully compete in the luxury segment. We’ll have to see how things go, but for now we’ll take a look at what Lincoln has done to step its game up and better compete in the luxury segment.

Next to the 2013 MKT debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, Lincoln has also presented the new MKS luxury sedan. For the 2013 model year, the MKS has received better handling, increased power, improved fuel efficiency, additional standard equipment, more refinement, and new technologies.
The model has received a contemporary new look that includes a new grille, HID headlamps, front fascia, hood, and front fenders. The rear of the vehicle was updated with a new fascia, LED tail lamps, new exhaust tips, and a new decklid design that improves access to the trunk.
The 2013 Lincoln MKS will be offered in three versions: V6 FWD, V6 AWD, and EcoBoost V6 AWD. The first two models are powered by a 3.7-liter V6 that now includes twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) and delivers a total of 300 HP (increased from the previous 273 HP). Fuel economy comes in at 19 mpg city/28 mpg highway for the front-wheel drive model and18mpg city/26 mpg highway with the all-wheel-drive model. The more powerful version gets a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that delivers a total of 355 HP.

Lincoln has unveiled the 2013 MKT at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The revised crossover offers a dramatically improved ride, sharper handling, better fuel economy, and new safety technologies including rear inflatable seat belts. The new 2013 MKT will go on sale in the spring of 2012.
"The 2013 MKT with Continuously Controlled Damping delivers a surprisingly vibrant blend of ride and handling. It’s more than you’d expect from a full-size, three-row luxury crossover," said Scott Tobin, Director, Lincoln Product Development.
For 2013, The MKT will be powered by the standard 3.7-liter V6 engine that includes twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) and delivers a total of 300 HP - an increase from the previous 268 HP. Customers will also be able to choose a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that delivers a total of 355 HP at 5,700 rpm and 350 lb.-ft. of torque from 1,500 to 5,250 rpm.

Lincoln unveiled today at the Los Angeles Auto Show the new 2010 MKZ mid-size sedan. Sales will begin in spring of 2009 and production will be made at Ford’s Hermosillo (Mexico) Stamping and Assembly Plant.
New for 2010, the MKZ features a new sport version with special sport suspension tuning with stiffer springs and larger stabilizer bars, 18-inch Euroflange polished wheels, darkened grille and headlamps, and an interior with contrasting piping and unique appliqués.
Under the hood there is a 3.5-liter V-6 Duratec engine that delivers 263 hp and 249 pounds-feet of torque. It is mated to a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.
The new MKZ also features Lincoln signature design elements, including the split-wing grille and thinner wraparound head lamps for a wider, sportier look. Its chamfered front fascia also shares a family resemblance with the MKS, with a sculpted hood and ridges flowing into the A-pillar. In the rear, the Lincoln MKZ features a new decklid with wider LED taillamps accentuating the width of the car and separated by the Lincoln star.

Lincoln today officially introduce the MKS, the sorta full-size luxury sedan which, according to Lincoln, will be the flagship for the brand, taking over that role from the Town Car.
And who, exactly, are they kidding?
It is a V-6.
Worse, that’s all it’s ever going to be. Word is that the V-8 planned for later is no longer planned for ever. It’s been cancelled. That, despite the fact that the concept car was a V-8, based on an engine currently offered by Volvo.

With prices starting at $37,665 for the FWD version and $39.555 for the AWD version, the 2009 Lincoln MKS redefines the American luxury. Next to the other new models from Lincoln, the MKZ sedan and MKX crossover, the 2009 MKS wants to bring the Lincoln brand into its right place on the luxury market. And as a proof there are the 8,600 pre-orders that have been placed for the full-size luxury sedan. The question that remains is" Can the 2009 stand in front of its biggest competitors: Lexus GS series, Infiniti’s G35 and Cadillac’s CTS. That remains to be seen.
The 2009 MKS made its official debut at the Los Angeles auto show and sales will begin this summer. It is offered in two different versions: FWD and AWD and it’s design cues are inspired by past Lincolns models, but in a very modern way. Among those cues, Lincoln ’s signature double-wing grille, first seen in production in 1941, and more recently applied to the 2007 MKR concept car.
The Lincoln MKS is powered by a Lincoln exclusive new 3.7-liter V-6 engine. The powertrain has been derived from the proven 3.5-liter V-6 found in the Lincoln MKX, which was voted one of Ward’s 10-Best Engines for 2007.
The 3.7-liter’s larger cylinders contribute to the increase in horsepower and torque. This engine delivers 273 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque and does not require premium-grade fuel.
The 3.7-liter is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift® that delivers smoother shifts, better fuel economy and acceleration as well as enhanced performance feel. SelectShift, making its Lincoln debut on the MKS, allows the driver to manually select gears by moving the gear selector to the right and pushing forward to downshift and pulling back to upshift. As an added benefit, the six-speed allows the MKS to be flat-towed to a maximum speed 65 miles-per-hour.
The AWD system works in conjunction with the standard AdvanceTrac stability control system to provide additional stability by transferring torque from side-to-side.
