The McLaren MP4-12C may no longer be in production, but the powerful sports car->ke506 is still popular among enthusiasts. In fact, McLaren->ke284 is still offering updates for it while, some tuning companies are still getting requests to enhance the 12C's appearance and powertrain. One such shop is DMC, mostly known for meddling with Italian supercars->ke177 wearing Ferrari->ke252 and Lamborghini->ke44 badges.

Their latest project is dubbed "Velocita" and was crafted for an unnamed Saudi owner who probably thought his MP4-12C was a little bland visually and needed more than the 592 horsepower it came from the factory. As with most DMC creations, the sports car received a unique aerodynamic package, a reupholstered interior, a titanium exhaust system, and a performance tweak to go with the more menacing, race-like looks. Ever dreamed about a 12C GT3 for the road? Well, you might as well take your McLaren to DMC, they'll know what to do with it.

McLaren MP4 12C "Velocita - Wind Edition" By DMC in detail

Due to the car's white paint job, it's easy to see where DMC added its own magic. The front bumper is now highlighted by a large splitter and F1-type canards on each side. Air flow is further optimized by means of added side skirts, while the rear end gained a new diffuser with extra fins and a lighter spoiler. The main rear feature, however, is the rear wing placed atop the spoiler. The unit works in conjunction with the aero scoop mounted on the roof for improved aerodynamics and braking power. All the aforementioned parts are crafted from carbon-fiber, meaning the weight of the car has been increased only slightly.

The interior received far less modifications when compared to the body, but DMC wrapped most of the surfaces in exclusive Italian leather. Sporty on the outside, luxurious on the inside. Now that's something to drool at.

Updates continue under the hood, when DMC's ECU performance package increases the output from 592 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque to 660 ponies and 502 pound-feet. Judging by the initial figures, this MP4-12C was built before McLaren upgraded the sports car in 2012, but this specific model benefits from more power than the final factory version, which was rated at 616 horsepower. In fact, it has 20 extra horses over the 650S, the 12C's spiritual successor.
