After the official debut of the 2011 Mercedes CL-Class Facelift, the first images of its AMG version have surfaced on the internet. Like with the standard version, the CL63 and CL65 AMG also receive aesthetic changes, but they also get a new engine.

The CL63 AMG is powered by a new 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine that delivers a total of 544 hp and 800 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the CL65 AMG gets a 6.0 V12 biturbo engine with power increased to 630 hp, while peak torque remains unchanged at 1000 Nm.

The Mercedes CL 63 AMG comes equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels and square exhaust pipes, while the CL 65 AMG has 20-inch alloy wheels and oval exhaust pipes.

And just as a little refresher, the 2011 Mercedes->ke187 CL-Class line-up includes: an entry-level CL550 4Matic powered by a 4.6 liter V8 direct-injected engine that delivers 429 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a seven speed automatic transmission and sprints the car from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The top version, CL600 gets a twin-turbo 5.5 liter V12 engine with a total output of 510 HP and 612 lb-ft of torque. It sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Both vehicles are limited to 155 mph.

Updated 09/23/2010: Mercedes has unveiled new images of their new CL65 AMG. It has also been revealed that the CL65 AMG will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4,2 seconds and will be capable to hit a top speed limited to 186 mph. Official debut will be made at the Paris Auto Show.
