The Black Series models are the coolest vehicles coming from the Mercedes ->ke187 factory these days. They look great, plus they are powerful and fast. They pretty much deliver everything you could ask for from a sports car.

A base C63 AMG Black Series is powered by a 6.3-liter, V-8 engine that delivers a total of 510 horsepower, and it sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, but the folks at GAD Motors decided that the C63 AMG Black Series is ripe for a power upgrade.

GAD updated the engine with its in-house turbo upgrade, upped the rev limiter to 7,000 rpm, and upgraded the cooling system. As a result, the V-8 engine now delivers a total of 850 horsepower and 995 pound-feet of torque.

This extra power helps the Black Series sports coupe sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds, to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 8.8 seconds and to 300 km/h (186 mph) in 23.5 with full aero package or 22.7 seconds without the AMG->ke8 aero package.

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series by GAD in Detail

In order to handle the extra power, GAD revised the C63 AMG Black Series' gearbox to include a modified MCT (multi-clutch). The engine sends the power to all four wheels through the car's standard 4MATIC system and now has faster shifts between all the gears.

Other additions include a new suspension system developed by KW Suspension and new Carbon Ceramics brakes that drag the sports coupe to a stop from 100 km/h (62 mph) in 33 meters (108 feet) and from 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 132 meters (433 feet).

The price for this upgrade is €180,250 (about $250k at the current exchange rates).
