Spooky ghouls and creepy crawlies, Halloween is a holiday that a lot of people hold near and dear to their hearts because its one of the few days in the year where you can act a fool...and be celebrated for it.

For Mercedes, Halloween’s also a special occasion because it gives them the opportunity to show this one-off C63 AMG Coupe Black Series, called the Halloween Edition.

This car is a one-off model that Mercedes showed today on their Facebook page. The car is equal parts pumpkin with the Orange paint finish and monster with its 517 horsepower capabilities. It’s an ideal recipe for a day like Halloween.

Other details on the outside include contrasting black chrome touches on the front grille - including the Silver Arrows logo - and the wing mirror housings. The vehicle also four hot wheels with the center painted black to fit into the C63 AMG’s "Halloween" look.

Inside, orange is once again prominently featured, including on the sides of the seats, parts of the steering wheel, the dashboard, trim level marks, and the center armrest.

Oh, and did we mention that this C63 AMG Black Series packs a wallop? It’s 6.3-liter V8 engine produces 517 horsepower and 457 lb/ft of torque with a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed 155 mph.

I think that technical details should be considered carefully. it is impossible that they do not stand out

outside looks really sport and a very childish name? how justified? it is full of sweets?

color makes me think about Halloween, but otherwise, nothing. In conclusion, I do not understand why they chose this topic

found well the name. color is, of course, very suggestive

smiley) first time I saw the car, the word Halloween came into my mind and then I saw the title

i think all powerful cars should have powerful colors. so that you know to step aside when you see such a car in your rear mirror.

i like the fact that they kept things realistic and did not turn this car into a crazy project. it looks awesome and it is a monster!

this car screams "fear me, i am a monster!". but then again, it is right.

i think that if mercedes decides to sell this car or make more like it, they will have plenty of buyers. if i had the money, i would buy it!

7 HP extra is not much, you are right there. but the total of 517 is a lot!

this is a nice car, looks good and it is powerful. but it isn’t much more powerful than the original c63 amg black.

i would drive this car everyday, not only on halloween. i like that much!

  (475) posted on 11.5.2012

this truly is part monster. what else can you call a 517 HP car?
