If you have just found yourself looking for information on special edition->ke2041 hatchbacks that won’t be sold in the United States, we have some great news for you. This is the 2014 Mercedes-Benz->ke187 A 250 Edition Night.

This Japan->ke138-only special edition is consists of a collection of visual enhancements that are slapped to a standard A-Class->ke452, specifically the A 250 Sport or A 250 AMG Sport. The entire package is based around adding black exterior features, making the whole car darker, like the night.

So it’s basically a German JDM hatchback->ke304 with lots of blacked out extras. If I was a forum lurker looking for the “best car evah” my head would have just exploded.

While the Edition Night model is technically only a Japanese market affair, many of the parts do mimic a special edition car available in the United Kingdom called the Night Package, making it slightly less special.

For all the details about the A 250 and the Edition Night extras hit the jump.

2014 Mercedes A 250 Edition Night in Detail

2013 Mercedes A Class

The exterior of the A-Class is already great looking, but the Edition Night package just adds a bit more menace to the sculpted five-door. The grille has been replaced with a two-bar unit is high-gloss black with small bits of chrome trim. The front end also gets striking new bi-xenon headlamps with LED running lamps.

The profile of the car sees the addition of blacked out mirror housings, 18-inch alloy wheels and the rear windows get privacy tinted glass. A high-gloss black beltline strip matches the grille and provides a very cohesive look when moving from the front of the A-Class to the side. The rear of the Edition Night gets LED taillamps that are bright, clear and help tie the rear of the cars design to the front’s LED running lamps.

Powering the A 250 is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four that dumps 211 horsepower to the wheels. The top speed is just shy of 150 mph and it will clip past the 60 mph mark in about 6.5 seconds.
