Mercedes' need to electrify its entire lineup killed a lot of cool cars, including the CLS 63 S AMG Shooting Brake. Eduard Pogea of Pogea Racing wanted to give special attention to this car and created his own project based on the CLS 63S. The car was built especially for him, so do not expect to see this package available for order.

What changes were made under the hood?

The standard CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake is powered by a 5.5-liter V-8 Biturbo engine that delivers a total of 585 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Pogea Racing made a few changes under the hood that will help further improve the engine's specifications.

The tuner added a modified exhaust gas turbocharger and a different cooling system and revised the charge air. The result is an impressive 742 horsepower and 822 pound-feet of torque.

What's even more impressive is that while the base CLS 63 is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph), Pogea Racing said that the GPS measured 329 km/h (204 mph)!

What other changes were made?

Like all the other Pogea cars, the CLS 63S 4M is also painted in “Pogea Stealth gray” - a mixture of a metallic gray tone with Ceralix pigments in copper. The paint was covered in a matt clear coat. All the elements from the standard Night Package are painted black glossy.

The rear diffuser is made of carbon fiber, and so are the side skirts, the mirror covers, the engine cover, and almost all elements of the front mask. For the interior, the same treatment was applied to the dashboard, moldings, and parts of the door panels.

Special attention was paid to the car's HiFi. Fortissimo was responsible for developing the best system that will be invisibly integrated into the interior. The entire car was dismantled inside, specially insulated with alubutyl and sheep’s wool insulation. The entire system required kilometers of cables, lots of digital processors and amplifiers. The main unit is an Android-driven 12.5” touchscreen, combined with two 10W3v3 woofers - a combination that gives the impression that you are sitting in a concert hall.

The car rides on a new set of 20-inch forged wheels wrapped in Michelin PS 4S tires, sized 255/30 20” at the front and 285/25 20” at the rear.
