2022 Mercedes-Maybach Edition 100 - gallery

Back in September 1921 Maybach was unveiling the W3 - the company's first mass-produced car

Now, 100 years later, Maybach commemorates the event with the launch of the special "Edition 100"

It will be based on either the S-Class or the GLS, and each will be limited to 100 units.

The S-Class is powered by a V-12 engine that delivers 612 horsepower

The GLS gets a V-8 engine with 557 horsepower

The sedan is 7.08 inches longer than the S-Class L, and, for the first time will be offered with all-wheel drive

The new Edition 100 will be offered in a combination of high-tech silver and nautical blue

The interior will be wrapped in leather in designo crystal white/silver grey pearl color.

The Edition 100 features a huge radiator grille with the "Maybach" logo placed on the top of the chrome surrounds

Also, "Edition 100" letter are placed on the C-pillar for the S-Class and the D-pillar on the GLS, but also on the hub cups.

Both models will be offered with a new set of wheels in a cool, new grey finish

The interior is soundproofed and comes equipped with lots of cool technologies

The new Edition 100 will be limited to only 100 units each and sales are set to begin in early 2022.
