Toyo Tires and Ac Milan Release their Fourth Collaboration Video, and It’s Amazing
If you haven’t seen the first three videos put together in collaboration between Ac Milan and Toyo Tires, you’ve seriously missed out. We’ve added those down below so you can catch up, but before you do we need to tell you about the fourth collaboration titled: “Ac Milan in Japanimation.” It’s a completely different animal compared to the previous videos, this time staring four key players from not only AC Milan but Gamba Osaka as well. It was filmed in Japan and Italy, but that’s not the best part. The best part is that Toyo commissioned none other than Yoichi Takahashi, the creator of the very popular and long-running manga series, Captain Tsubasa.
As such, this video is a unique mix of reality and animation in the best way, with AC Milan players, Riccardo Montolivo, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, André Silva, Ricardo Rodríguez taking on Gamba Osaka players, Yasuhito Endo, Yasuyuki Konno, Shu Kurata, Hiroki Fujiharu. What starts out as a scene with Montolivo reading a manga, quickly turns into a showdown not only between the two teams but a Mercedes G63 (represented by AC Milan) and a Mercedes SL400 that’s represented by Gamba Osaka. While the players in natural and animation form battle it back and forth with a ball, the two Mercedes’, which are riding upon Toyo Proxes tires, take to the street in an awesome, mostly animated drift battle.
If you’re in for a bit of entertainment, check out the video below. You’ll be sure you did. If you haven’t see the videos that came before, we’ve added those down below too.
Celebrity Special – Celebrating The Life of Karl Benz
On this day in 1844, 173 years ago, Karl Benz was born in the German town of Muhlburg. The son of a locomotive driver, Karl’s father died of pneumonia when he was just two years old, and despite being poor, Karl’s mother, Josephine Vaillant, was intent on giving her son a proper education. Showing great academic promise, young Karl went on to study at the University of Karlsruhe, or as it was known then, Polytechnische Schule (“Polytechnic School”). By the age of 15, Karl began his studies in mechanical engineering, graduating four years later.
After plying his trade in a variety of different jobs, Karl ended up purchasing a new factory with his fiancée, Bertha Ringer, and began to develop new engines and patents to help pay the bills. In 1878, Karl created a new, reliable two-stroke engine, after which the engineering mastermind was awarded several more patents for such critically important inventions as a new spark plug, carburetor, clutch, and water radiator.
By the 1880s, Benz began to work in earnest towards his lifelong obsession, the horseless carriage, and by 1885, he had created the Benz Patent Motorwagen. Inspired by bicycle design, the Motorwagen had a trio of wire-wheels, a tubular steel frame, rack-and-pinion steering, and a Benz-designed four-stroke engine fired by advanced coil ignition. The modern automobile was born. Several improvements were made, eventually leading to the S-Classes and AMG GTs we know and love today.
Now go celebrate properly by laying down a smoky burnout.
Hugh Hefner’s 1969 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman
The death of Hugh Hefner has caused the world to turn its attention to the Playboy Magazine founder and publisher. Aside from his lavish lifestyle, infamous mansion, many wives, and countless mistresses, Hefner was also known for his car collection. From Corvettes to Ferraris, his garage was almost exciting as the pool’s grotto on a Friday night. But perhaps one of Heff’s classiest, rarest, and most highly regarded is his 1969 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman.
Mercedes began making the 600 limousine in 1963 and carried the car to 1981. Despite this 18-year production run, only 2,677 examples were built. That number is further divided into three thanks to the three body styles Mercedes offered. There was a short wheelbase, of which 2,190 were built. There was also a Landaulet (convertible rear top), of which only 59 were built. Then there’s Heff’s car – the long wheelbase version. While not as rare as the Landau, only 428 exist in the world. Adding to the 600’s worth is Mercedes’ over-engineering of nearly every component. Everything that moved was hydraulically operated, including the windows, sunroof, seat adjustments, trunk lid, and doors. It even has a load-leveling suspension, which of course, ran off hydraulic pressure. Powering the car and its 2,176-psi hydraulic pump was a massive 6.3-liter V-8 developing 300 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It was more than adequate for hustling the limo at speeds over 130 mph.
Heff’s six-door 600 was last known to have been sold in 2001 at a Barrett-Jackson auction. While that was 16 years ago, its price might surprise you. Keep reading for more.

Watch the Dash-Cam Footage of Tiger Woods DUI Arrest
Footage showing Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest in Jupiter, Florida earlier this week was just released to media by local law enforcement. The pro golfer was apparently pulled over and asleep at the wheel when officers approached his 2015 Mercedes-AMG 65 early Monday morning. The car’s engine was running. Woods apparently exhibited “extremely slow and slurred, mumbled” speech and had difficulty walking, according to a police report. No alcohol was detected following a breathalyzer and urine analysis, but Woods did admit to taking prescription drugs that had a greater than expected effect. Woods has been recovering from multiple back surgeries, and hasn’t played golf competitively since February.
Woods apologized in a statement issued Monday night. “I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly,” he said. “I would like to apologize with all my heart to my family, friends and the fans. I expect more from myself, too. I will do everything in my power to ensure this never happens again.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger Goes Terminator on Climate Change; Gets Custom, All-Electric Mercedes G-Class
If you look back in the archives, you’ll find a story we brought you back in September of 2016 about a small startup known as Kreisel Electric that was in the business of developing advanced lithium-ion batteries have completely preserved cells, and thus a higher capacity which ultimately leads to increased range. The company has built a number of custom-made electric conversions with one of the most notable being the Porsche Panamera. But, the company has been very busy since we last mentioned it, and has put together a custom all-electric Mercedes G-Class for none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger himself! That’s right; the man that once owned a fleet of Hummers has decided to fully embrace his new stance on protecting his environment by adding the big, off road, and all electric one-off to his own personal collection.
The vehicle was first unveiled my Kreisel Electric and Arnold at the Hahnenkamm race in Kitzebuehel in January where Arnold not only learned about his new G-Class and took delivery but also took it out for a quick drive in the snow. During the official announcement, Schwarzenegger said, “To me, with the electric version of this fantastic car, a dream has become true. The initial test drive was a real pleasure: The Kreisel is incredibly sporty and perfectly benefits from the advantages e-mobility has to offer. I really look forward to the following test runs and to the gradual further development in California.”
As you can make out from his quote above, he’ll be conducting further testing and providing feedback to Kreisel Electric for some time to come. What’s really more important, though, is what makes this electric conversion so special. See, using an existing chassis and body that wasn’t designed for an all-electric powertrain is a real challenge, but Kreisel Electric’s technology makes it quite a bit easier. By removing the engine and gas tank, the company is able to place the required battery packs and electric motors while preserving the same general weight distribution. In this specific case, that conversion results in a G-Class SUV with 483 all-electric horsepower and a top speed of 133 mph. It is said to achieve 62 mph in as fast as 5.6 seconds, three seconds faster than the standard model, and has a range of about 190 miles.
But, there’s more to this story, so let’s move on down the page.
This Mercedes-AMG GT3 Race Car Wears A Linkin Park Livery
In the early days of racing, liveries only consisted of a number and (sometimes) a couple of stripes. Visuals on race cars began to evolve dramatically in the 1960s, when a huge number of sponsors joined the sport. Nowadays, they’re mostly the work of skilled designers and sometimes recall famous layouts from the past. Team Black Falcon’s new livery for its Mercedes-AMG GT3 isn’t one of them, but it’s special nonetheless.
Because it was designed by rock band Linkin Park (or at least someone working with the group).
Created for the Blancpain Endurance Series, the livery consists of red and black stripes and shapes over the car’s silver paint. It also has black lightning bolts, but its most important highlights are the "Linkin Park" lettering on the massive rear wing and the band’s log on the engine hood and doors.
There’s no information as to what brought Team Black Falcon and Linkin Park together, but it’s worth mentioning that this is not the first time the California-based group has something to do with Mercedes-Benz.Last year, the band did the soundtack for a Mercedes-AMG C63 promo video. Both last year’s promo and the new livery could be a way to promote Linkin Park’s next album, which is likely to be launched by the end of 2016.
This specific race car was designed for the Spa 24 Hours race in Belgium over the last weekend in July 2016 and given Team Black Falcon’s success in the series so far, it should get a lot of attention.

Lewis Hamilton In Discussion With Mercedes To Design Limited Edition AMG Sports Car
It’s no secret that Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton has some sway with Mercedes-Benz. After all, the British Formula One driver and reigning World Champion has won two world championships for the German automaker. So if Lewis Hamilton expresses his desire to develop an “extreme version” of a Mercedes-AMG sports car, Mercedes has to listen.
In a recent conversation with Motoring, Hamilton admitted that he wants to have a hand in building the car, projecting it as a limited edition model under the “LH Series” name. It’s quite obvious what the “LH” stands for, so it does appear that Hamilton wants to have his own line of cars at some point in the future. Talks are apparently already under way between the driver and the automaker and Hamilton promised to be hands-on if and when the development of the limited-run sports car begins.
The news comes a few days after Mercedes unveiled the AMG GT R, a more performance-oriented version of the AMG GT S. According to Hamilton, he had some ideas on how to improve the car, but Mercedes had already designed it by the time it was shown to him. So with that opportunity missed, the two sides are now working on something to give Hamilton an opportunity to be involved in the design of a more extreme sports car.
It’s still unclear how this arrangement will play out but you can be sure that Mercedes will listen to Hamilton’s ideas and consider his input with the seriousness it deserves. That’s one of the perks of not only being a Formula One driver for Mercedes, but one who is primarily responsible for winning the Silver Arrows’ first two F1 world titles.

Sporty crossovers are weird things. Even though most people have now abandoned the pretense that these machines will ever go off-road, it still seems vaguely unnatural for something so high off of the ground to be going fast, especially around corners. So if the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe (which is not a coupe at all, it’s a four-door crossover) was built by any other company, that company might struggle to convince anyone to think of it as sporty. But Mercedes-Benz does not have this problem, because Mercedes-Benz can just call Lewis Hamilton.
The reigning Formula 1 world champion won the last season behind the wheel of a Mercedes, and now he’s in an ad, telling us that the GLE Coupe is sporty enough to satisfy even his unnaturally high standards for excitement. This is probably a bit of a stretch, but it’s far from being the most absurd claim to have ever been made in an advertisement, and Hamilton’s driving (assuming that it is Hamilton driving, but it would be pretty odd if it wasn’t) does a good job of showing off how well the car can handle when pushed.
Former SNL cast member, 30 Rock star and one of my personal favorite comedians is in critical condition following a serious accident this past weekend. Tracy Morgan was riding in a Mercedes Sprinter converted into a limo as it traveled down the New Jersey Turnpike in Mercer County, NJ when it was struck by a Walmart semi truck.
According to the report, Morgan’s Mercedes was stuck in slow-moving traffic when the semi didn’t see the slower traffic and failed to avoid the limo. The semi struck the rear of the limo, spinning it around and flipping it on its side, critically injuring Morgan, harming three other passengers and killing Morgan’s long-time friend James "Jimmy Mack" McNair.
Morgan is currently in critical condition in the hospital, but is showing signs of improvement as of Monday afternoon. The complete rundown on Tracy’s condition is unknown at this point, but there are plenty of rumors running around.
The driver of the Walmart truck, Kevin Roper, was charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto. Reports claim that he had been awake for 24 straight hours when the crash occurred.
We’ll stay on top of this news and update you as more information comes out.

Germany was actually a very humble place in all the interwar and post-war periods of the twentieth century. These hard-working people loved industry from the clang of first steel horseshoe on stone streets.
In 1934, a Mercedes Silver Arrow W25 won the famous Klausenpass hill-climb event, plus four other important races.
The SIlver Arrow’s sleek styling and high-speed mission was the Pagani Zonda R of its time. Or perhaps the Bloodhound SSC.
The Klausenpass hill climb is 14 miles long and in 1934 the Silver Arrow managed to run it in 15 minutes and 22.2 seconds.
Now, Mercedes in and IWC Watches have teamed up to recreate the famous run on the Swiss Alpine course.
IWC, sharp-eyed readers may recall, makes the elegant new boxed timepiece in the center of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Model driven earlier this week.
The video begins with Mercedes-Benz’s resident F1 hero. Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton and the Silver Arrow are just about the epitome of modern, thriving and also deeply humble Germany.
The W25 prepared for the 1934 season weighted only 750 kilos (1653 pounds) and was powered by a supercharged Straight-8 M25 engine with an output of 300 horsepower. The W25 remained into the racing world until 1937, during which period it was updated with a more powerful 4.3 liter supercharged inline-eight engine with an output of 490 horsepower.
Now that Maybach is out of the picture, Daimler’s presence in one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals - the 2012 Cannes Film Festival - now hinges on Mercedes-Benz.
The German automaker is responding in golden fashion by bringing in a fleet of its vehicles covered in...gold. If the glitz of all these golden Mercs serving us certifiable shuttle vehicles, Mercedes is also dressing up one car, a 2013 Mercedes SL65 AMG, in gold where it was displayed in all its shining and shimmering glory at the Cinema Against AIDS Gala being organized by the amfAR foundation at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on May 24.
In addition to having their gold-covered fleet vehicles, Mercedes will also be hosting a plethora of events during the event, one of which is a test drive session of all its latest models. This session will be open to the public and will take place along the French Riviera. And lastly, Merc’s performance division, AMG, will be sponsoring a handful of events, particularly the "Le Club by Albane" at the J.W. Marriott hotel and the “IWC Filmmakers Dinner” at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on May 21st.
So if any celebrity is looking for a ride to Cannes, it probably won’t be too difficult to spot any one of these golden Mercedes vehicles. Then again, you can skip all that and pull off a Kanye West and just drive to the event in a Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss.
The Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss is limited to only 75 units, so to see one actually outside of an air conditioned and secured garage is a spectacular treat for the eye. Then the fact that it is being driven by American rapper, singer, and record producer, Kanye West gets thrown in and we’re not sure to sit and ogle or pay for the experience.
Kanye was living the high life at the Cannes Film Festival when he got a chance to stroll around in the $1.06 million vehicle. Whether the car is his or he just borrowed it for the day - rich people get to do that - the star sure seemed to fit right into the leather-trimmed interior.
The Mercedes SLS Stirling Moss is powered by a 5.5-liter supercharged V8 from the 722 SLR, which makes 650 hp. Without a windshield, this roadster can still hit a rip-your-face-off top speed of 217 mph. The 0-60 mph sprint can be made in less than 3.5 seconds. With this type of speed and no windscreen or roof, Kanye may need a little more than those dark sunglasses to shield him from the whiplash he’s sure to get when he gets the SLR out on the open road.
Before there was a Typhoon package for the BMW X5M and X6M by G-Power, Hamann had already dressed up the Mercedes G55 AMG with a different package with that same name. The original kit came with a massive aerodynamic kit, as well as two different performance upgrades. Now, Specialty Car Craft has taken the modified G55 and tuned it even further for Anton Kasabov, a three-time World Martial Arts Champion.
There aren’t many details on the modified tuning package, but the original kit came with optimized air flow, two LED daytime running lights integrated in the front spoiler, a roof spoiler, a newly designed rear skirt with the integrated diffuser, and a 13-part exterior set made of carbon fiber (radiator grill, headlight protective grid, mirror cases, door handles, air inlets in the side wings, bonnet air blind). The exterior is draped in a black paint job with red highlights all over the car, including on the hood, grill, tires, etc.
Specialty Car Craft and Anton Kasabov would be insane not to incorporate the two engine options included in the G55 by Hamann. That package allowed customers to choose from either a mild 35 HP upgrade, or the more appropriate HM 600 performance kit that provided the 5.4 Liter engine with a blower to produce 600 HP and 576 lb-ft of torque. This upgrade allows the gritty SUV to go from 0 to 60 MPH in 5.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 162 MPH.
If you’re interested in modifying your G55 to look like Kasabov’s, well that’s just too bad. Specialty Car Craft constructed this makeover specifically for the martial arts master as a one-off project.
Okay, listen, if you’ve ever heard of a little sport called basketball, then you have no doubt heard of a certain player that goes by the name of Michael Jordan. Yes, the one and the only, Michael Jordan. Turns out, this very same dribbling, dunking, tongue-hanging-out, Space Jam star who has an elite line of basketball shoes himself has an equally impressive vehicle that is currently on sale on eBay. Oh yeah, this car also happens to be the hot, limited edition Mercedes SLR 722. Wait, yeah, perfection has raised its hand to say hello.
The SLR 722 Edition is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 supercharged engine that delivers 640 Hp and 820 NM of torque. The result is an impressive 0 to 60 mph time of 3.6 seconds, a 0 -124 mph time of 10.2 seconds, and a 0 to 186 mph time of 28.0 seconds. Top speed is 209 mph.
Modifications made to the car include: 19-inch light-alloy wheels, modified suspensions, with a stiffer damper setup and 10 mm (0.39 in) lower ride height introduced for improved handling, larger 390 mm (15 in) diameter front brakes and a revised front air dam and rear diffuser, red "722" badge, hearkening back to the original 722 racer, and slightly different taillights and headlamps.
The former NBA star rocket is being sold by A&M Auto Export for about $50,000 less than what the base SLR 722 sold for back in 2007. But at $429,998, this vehicle is more than worth it considering all of the modifications that were added plus the low mileage (odometer reads 962 miles). That, and the fact that the man himself had to sign the title for the vehicle. A rare and beautiful car and an autograph.
Say what you want about Elvis Presley, but the King of Rock and Roll sure knows how to roll around in grand style.
Years after his untimely death, Bonhams has decided to put one of Elvis’ vintage classics up for auction at the year-end sale of Important Motor Car and Fine Automobilia. This particular one, a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 600 SWB limousine, is especially important because it’s one of only a few cars that were registered in Elvis Presley’s name.
The collector’s Benz, which comes with a powder blue finish and a cream leather interior, will be the highlight piece of the auction that’s scheduled for December 6 in Surrey, UK. How it ended up there on the other side of the Atlantic is anyone’s guess. But what’s important is that this car is a true one-of-a-kind that was once ridden by one of the most iconic figures in the 20th century.
So, if you’re a big fan of the King of Rock and Roll – not to mention that you have tons of money to spare – you can make a serious bid for this 1970 Merc 600 SWB limousine. In the event that you really are planning to bid on this car, you might want to bring with you around $300,000, which is the expected price tag the car is expected to fetch.
UPDATED 12/14/10: We’ve just gotten word that The King’s 1970 Mercedes-Benz 600 was officially scooped up by a German buyer at Mercedes-Benz World near Weybridge, Surrey, U.K. for a price of $187,390 including the buyer’s premium. It’s way short than what the expected price tag was but still, $187,390 for a car that was once ridden by Elvis Presley himself? Not a bad deal if you ask us.
Can you really blame Mercedes for jumping aboard the Sex and the City bandwagon given that the whole premise of the series involves four middle-aged women and their insatiable desires for shopping, socializing, and of course, scoring hot guys? Hey, if the show has been a resounding success, why not, right?
The sequel to the highly successful first movie - by successful, we’re talking to all those women who dragged their significant others into the cinema - is upon us and Mercedes Benz, as well as it’s brother, Maybach, are both firmly entrenched in the story. So if you’re a man that’s been dragged to this movie, you’ve found your saving grace in the form of all the Merc’s you can find in the movie. At least it won’t be a complete waste, yes?
Women and men everywhere love the sexual rendezvous’ and spicy chicas involved in Sex and the City even if the men are afraid to admit it. If anyone doesn’t know who Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda are then they may as well admit they have been locked away in a dark room somewhere. Now, men all over will have an excuse to tag along and see the sexy ladies and hot scenes in Sex and the City 2 because the ultra-luxurious Maybach line, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV, the 2011 Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet, and theMercedes S-Class will all be a part of the cast as the automobiles of choice for none other than Mr. Big and the ladies.
"Based on the success of the first movie and its ability to attract trendsetters and style-makers, Sex and the City 2 is a natural fit for Mercedes-Benz," says Steve Cannon, Vice President of Marketing, Mercedes-Benz USA. "The movie provides a great stage for us; it showcases our new eco-friendly flagship S-Class, ruggedly sophisticated G-Class and ultra luxury Maybach line in their natural elements. It also perfectly positions the new E-Class Convertible just as it arrives in showrooms."
Simple translation: “Sex and the City brings in lots of money and we want a piece of the action.” Oh yeah, we said it. Of course, in case moviegoers don’t notice the vehicles in the film, Mercedes will be including the partnership in a marketing campaign for the 2011 Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet illustrating the relationship between the two. The tagline? "Stylish Enough for Carrie, Luxurious enough for Charlotte, Smart enough for Miranda and fast enough for Samantha."
Hey, we’re not saying there is anything wrong with that. Maybach and Mercedes were smart to get in on the steamy action. We’ll just wait and see if it works.
Some people may make their decisions based on what the stars are doing and although sometimes that may lead to some poor decisions, the current trend adopted by celebrities might make a positive effect on our ecological footprint. That trend is, of course, driving around in some of the hottest fuel-saving, low emissions vehicles available.
The highlight, of course, will be the new BlueTEC models in the Mercedes-Benz R, E, ML and GL-Class ranges. Mercedes insists that more and more celebrities from the worlds of film, TV, and music are making the switch to, not only a hybrid, but a Mercedes hybrid. These exceptional vehicles were the first to meet the US exhaust emission standards in all 50 states and provide a 30% reduction in fuel consumption as compared to the petrol engines by Mercedes. Some of the fabulous names driving these vehicles are Sarah Jessica Parker, Molly Sims, Nicole Scherzinger, and Rosario Dawson.
The new Mercedes S 400 Hybrid is also becoming popular with the likes of “Sherlock Holmes” star Robert Downey Jr. and the always sexy, Gerard Butler. This model combines a lithium-ion high-voltage battery with a petrol engine that has a combined fuel consumption of 7.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
Hit the jump for more hybrid action plus the Mercedes press release.
Mika Hakkinen is no stranger to sitting behind the wheel of a high-powered Mercedes. After his time with McLaren Mercedes where he won two Formula One Drivers Championships, the retired Hakkinen is still involved with Mercedes at some capacity or another.
This time, Hakkinen finds himself on the driver’s seat of a Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss Edition where he is filming what looks to be a new commercial in Barcelona. We can’t say that we’re not envious of the guy who probably has one of these rare SLRs – only 75 were made at a price tag of over $1 million - in his garage.
No details apart from these photos reveal anything about the commercial that’s being shot, although the presence of two cheeky cars – an Opel Astra Coupe and a car that the producers would want you to believe is a Ferrari (nice try!) – suggests that this commercial might have a ridiculous supporting cast to the SLR Stirling Moss.
We sincerely hope that those cars aren’t part of the commercial and they just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Lloyd Banks and the rest of the G-Unit certainly know how to ride in style and just like any other rap or hip-hop artist in the world today, subtlety isn’t exactly one of their strong suits. These guys are brash and boisterous and Banks’ latest music video shows us exactly what types of four-wheeled vehicles these fellas roll in: “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley”.
Ever the showmen that these guys are, they even brought their prized rides and showed ‘em off in the music video. We didn’t catch most of what they said because they rapped too fast for our ears to catch up, but if we’re not mistaken, we think that they probably mentioned ‘Beamer, Benz, or Bentley’ about thirty to forty times.
And if the Beamers, Benzes and Bentleys aren’t enough to show all of us the perks of being a celebrity, Banks and the other members of G-Unit even brought some lady friends along. Take your pick, ladies. What’ll it be?
Beamer, Benz or Bentley?
Charlie Sheen woke up this morning with a Mercedes missing from his garage, but to his good fortune, he wasn’t around to see what became of his luxury ride.
The actor’s Mercedes was stolen at his home in Sherman Oaks, California, but the thief, apparently, had something different in store for his newly-boosted car, flying it over a cliff along Mulholland Drive, you know, for kicks.
To his surprise, Sheen was woken up by a call from Mercedes telling him that his car was involved in an accident. Amazingly, the perpetrator escaped from the scene before the LAPD showed up, which is now in hot pursuit of the thief.
It’s unclear to us just how Charlie Sheen could’ve jut left the keys of his Mercedes inside the car, making it a relatively easy target for the unknown booster. Then again, Sheen can afford to buy a replacement with just a snap of a finger so we suspect that he won’t lose a ton of sleep over it.
Just a reminder to Mr. Sheen, though. Next time, bring your keys inside your house.
Dear Jay Leno,
We’ll make this short and sweet.
By now you probably know that every car enthusiast from Armenia to Zimbabwe is jealous of you, not because of your wealth - ok, maybe that too - or comedic talent, but because of your seemingly endless resources when it comes to cars. If having some of the world’s fastest and most exclusive in your garage isn’t enough, you also get to ride around town with some cars that are just pipe dreams for most of us.
Take the 2010Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing for example. For a lot of us, the closest we’ll ever come to a car like that would be through posters on our wall or photos over on the Internet. You, on the other hand, get to sit behind it for a test run. Who knows, after riding it, you might end up getting yourself one - or maybe ten, since you seem to have enough money to buy the whole line.
Don’t worry, though. We’re not upset at you. Not the least bit. We just want to feel what it’s like to be you - even if it’s just for a day. And while we’ll never come close to doing that, this video of you on-board the SLS AMG Gullwing is probably - and we’re using that word lightly - the next best thing for us. Maybe someday we’ll get a chance to bring home one of these cars. But until then, we remain envious.
The entire car-loving world
