The 2023 Mercedes-AMG One is a 219-MPH Rocket with F1 Tech
It’s been a little over five years since Mercedes went crazy and promised to shove a Formula 1 engine into a street legal road car. That day has finally come, and sure enough, the AMG One lives up to the hype with a hybridized F1 engine for a heart and a total system output of 1,049 horsepower, all of which is 100-percent road legal. Somehow, despite the fact that the AMG One probably shouldn’t have ever happened, AMG pulled it off. Here’s what we know about it so far.
Mercedes-Benz C112 - An Abandoned Technological Miracle
The long history of Mercedes-Benz spawned plenty of amazing projects, many of which resulted in some of the greatest road-going and racing vehicles, we have ever seen. You only need to look at cars like the 300SL, 300SLR, CLK GTR, SLR McLaren, and others. There are, however, many cars that never saw the light of day. Among the most obscure projects to come out from Mercedes-Benz’s test facilities is the 1991 Mercedes C112. It had the potential to be the most ground-breaking sports car of the 1990s, but sadly, Mercedes decided not to make it.

Fastest SUV In The World
Now an SUV comes with the added advantage of being practical, however, what does this mean for the rational folks out there who’ve had to sacrifice their mid-engined sports car or coupe for a lumbering SUV. Well, manufacturers have addressed this with the performance SUV. But which one is the fastest one out there, well that is a race that is constantly evolving as manufacturers will go to any length to lay claim to that crown.
Watch This Naturally Aspirated Mercedes-AMG Car Smash The Supercharged Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
‘Carwow’ uploaded another drag race video on its YouTube channel, this time involving two very unlikely competitors – a 2013 Mercedes-AMG SLS Black Series versus the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.These two are completely different animals – one being a classy luxury car with drool-worthy gullwing doors, and the other a raw muscle car that loves being the alpha male. One comes with a naturally aspirated engine, and the other with a supercharged mill that puts out north of 750 horses. Where are you putting your money?
2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Super Sport
The late 1990s saw many epic homologation specials. One of them was the Mercedes CLK GTR, which was a road-going version that allowed Mercedes to race in the LeMans and FIA GT1 class. The car had a couple of road-going versions, including a CLK GTR roadster, but the final evolution is considered to be the Mercedes CLK GTR Super Sport, which introduced a new, more powerful engine.
Dodge Charger 392 Scat Pack Races Mercedes C43 AMG In An Unusually Close Drag Race
Everyone knows, high-horsepower builds are insanely fast in a straight line, but seeing two stock vehicles run on the drag strip is just as interesting. Sam CarLegion provides us with another YouTube video and this time, it’s the Dodge Charger 392 Scat Pack versus the Mercedes C43 AMG. The two cars are very different, with the only thing in common being their sedan body style. While there can only be one winner, some of the races were quite close.

2023 Mercedes-Benz SL
The new Mercedes SL is an AMG special that comes to bring new life to the SL name with impressive performance, stylish looks, and a very cool soft top that’s not only fast but sheds some major weight. Thanks to its unique design, it’s even the first SL since the 1980s to feature those barely usable jump seats in the rear. That’s right, the new Mercedes SL is actually a 2+2 roadster. So, with all of this said, we have some questions to answer. Is the new Mercedes SL doing justice to the AMG lineup? Is the new Mercedes SL really designed for everyday use? Will it be worth the high price tag?
A New AMG GT Coupe Will Cruise Next to the New SL Roadster
It hasn’t even been a week since Mercedes launched the new SL. The new 2023 Mercedes-AMG SL is a different beast altogether when compared to its predecessor as it is now an AMG-exclusive model only. There were rumors that it would replace not just it’s the outgoing SL, but also the GT. However, the company’s design chief, Gorden Wagener, has confirmed that both the models will coexist without really stepping on each other’s toes.

But, what makes it special? Is it just a follow-up to the AMG GT Roadster, or is there more to it than that? Well, here are some very cool facts about it.
2023 Mercedes-AMG A35
In 2012, the Mercedes A-Class finally became what it should have been from the beginning – a proper hatchback. With the W177-generation, the A-Class improved upon the traditional hatchback body type even more and now, a facelift is in the making. The latest spy footage suggests that the mildly hot AMG A35 is out testing and, given the amount of camouflage, the hot hatchback is almost ready for a debut.

A Very Special 1994 Mercedes W124 Brabus 6.5 Recently Emerged From The Shadows
The Mercedes W124 is praised for its build quality and the ability to survive just about anything (or so they say). When it comes to performance versions, the 500E is the first to come to mind, since it technically laid the foundation for a future lineup of V8-powered Mercedes performance sedans. Then came the E60 AMG “Hammer” with a bigger V-8 and more power. The Brabus 6.5, however, is even more special. In addition to being even more powerful, there’s only one in existence.
Everything You Need to Know About The Mercedes-AMG GT
Every premium carmaker that has a history and a present in racing likes to translate some of the motorsport knowledge it possesses into a road car. Mercedes-Benz and subsequently Mercedes-AMG have done just that with the GT. Everything about the GT has been designed and developed with performance in mind, from the base model to the blistering fast Black Series. Here’s what you need to know about the AMG GT.
The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Cost More Than A Ferrari F8 or McLaren 720S
Mercedes-Benz just announced pricing for the range-topping AMG GT model, the Black Series, and it’s anything but affordable. At $325,000 before options, it’s the most expensive Mercedes-Benz out there, but that’s hardly surprising. Equipped with a highly efficient aerodynamic package and a beefed-up V-8 engine that packs 720 horsepower, the AMG GT Black Series is the most extreme Merc you can buy. And it’s also the lap record holder on the Nurburgring Nordschleife, so you get plenty of bang for the buck. But isn’t the AMG GT Black Series still a bit too expensive compared to what’s available on the market?
2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is the range-topping version of the AMG GT sports car. Unveiled in 2020, the Black Series model arrives six years after Mercedes-Benz debuted the AMG GT lineage, which now includes five road-legal models and two race-spec versions. The Black Series slots at the top of the range, featuring a race-inspired exterior and the most powerful iteration of the 4.0-liter V-8 engine yet. Heavily upgraded and capable of 720 horsepower, the Black Series’ mill is also the most powerful production V-8 from AMG. The Black Series model is also the most expensive from the lineup and the only Mercedes-Benz that costs in excess of €300,000.
Hold Onto Your Jaws: A Sauber Mercedes C9 Has Hit The Market
Throughout the years, the world of racing has given us plenty of iconic liveries to fawn over, from the gold-and-black beauty of the JPS Lotuses run by Colin Chapman’s team to the iconic light blue threads of the stock cars raced by Richard Petty in NASCAR. An equally famous single-color comes from Germany and it adorned not one but multiple teams, namely the ’Silver Arrow’ livery. The Sauber-Mercedes C9 stands as the first ’Silver Arrow’ of the modern era, a car so dominant at one point that it drew justifiable parallels with the original silver bullets from the ’30s.
Those silver cars, be it the rear-mid-engined Auto Unions or the prodigious Mercedes-Benz machines of Rudi Uhlenhaut, were the pride of Germany in between the two World Wars and were painted silver as that was the country’s national racing color, the same as green was the national racing color of Britain and red was that of Italy. With the advent of sponsorship in the ’60s, national colors took a step back but, when Mercedes returned to top-level racing in the late ’80s, it sought to bring back some of that old-timey appeal. This is one of the cars that carried those famous colors in 1989.
