Supercar Blondie has made it a habit of giving us the tour on some of the most epic cars and concepts ever created. Lately, this included quite a few legendary classics, and the one Supercar Blondie is showing us this time is arguably the ultimate – a Mercedes 300 SLR of which only two were made. And she even managed to get behind the wheel and drive it.
2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB
Mercedes had unveiled the EQB back at the Shanghai Auto Show earlier this year, but it brought it to Munich and displayed it at the IAA Mobility Show as well. The EQB is the second model after the EQA and will be offered as a five-seater with an option to equip the third row. It is loaded to the gills in terms of features and will be offered in two trims Stateside – the EQB 300 and the EQB 350. The crossover is expected to arrive in 2022 as a 2023 model.

2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE
Mercedes-Benz was quite active at the 2021 IAA Mobility Show. It came up with five vehicles there, which included the AMG EQS, the EQG Concept, the EQB crossover, and the Maybach EQS SUV. Among this lot was also the EQE, an E-Class-based electric sedan. This baby EQS is loaded to the gills and seems like a sweet package at the onset. The only fly in the ointment is the availability of the single-motor setup, to begin with, but a dual-motor setup EQE and an AMG EQE will arrive in the future.
2022 Mercedes EQG Concept
Mercedes went on an electrification spree at the 2021 IAA Mobility Show in Munich, Germany. One of the cars unveiled here was the EQG, the EQ electric equivalent of the legendary G-Class SUV, or more popularly known as the G-Wagen. The off-roader is one of the most iconic models ever built and is still going strong despite its boxy and old-school demeanor. In fact, that is the one thing that’s still attracting purists.
The company showcased the EQG Concept that follows a similar path, but with a lot of new tech. This is said to be a near-production concept, so we can expect the real deal to be revealed by next year, perhaps.

The Mercedes G-Wagon is one of Mercedes’ signature vehicles. None of the other German premium carmakers have an analog to it. For decades the Mercedes G-Wagon has been every rich person’s favorite way of giving the middle finger to all “plebians mopping around in a Corolla or an Elantra”. The boxy SUV has been interpreted by many tuners, such as BRABUS, MANSORY, and others, giving it an aggressive design, and making it appealing to people like celebrities and drug dealers.
However, the boxy SUV has much humbler beginnings, as it was originally developed as a military vehicle. It seems Mercedes remembered that and decided to give us a G-Wagon that doesn’t mind getting dirty.

The ‘Carwow’ team brought four performance SUVs to the drag strip for a series of straight-line races. The contenders include a Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S, a BMW X3 M Competition, an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, and a Jaguar F-Pace SVR. Three of the four SUVs make identical 510 horses, whereas the Jaguar trumps them all with 40 extra ponies. But, it is also the heaviest. Does it nullify Jaguar’s advantage?
2023 Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+
Mercedes-Benz unveiled the EQS earlier this year. This electric S-Class equivalent came with a whole lot of impressive specs and features that put it right on top of the EQ hierarchy. To elevate it to the next level, the German automaker introduced the AMG variant of the EQS called the EQS 53 4MATIC+ that comes with a lot more power and a few other mechanical upgrades. While it’s still not Tesla Model S Plaid-level performance, specs like 750+ horses will surely pull a lot of potential customers.
