Mercedes-AMG G63 4x4 Squared - The Ultimate Factory Monster Truck

Mercedes created an unholy hybrid between a tank and a sports car, in the form of the G63 AMG 4x4 Squared

While the model, also known as Gelandewagen, can trace its roots back to the 1970s, the model has evolved over the years, with many special versions of the boxy off-roader. Now, there is a new version for 2023 and it looks like, this time, Mercedes has made the ultimate factory monster truck.

The biggest highlights include an updated front and rear fascia, a new grille design, updated headlights, and a new matrix for the taillights. Changes inside will be minimal, but an updated infotainment system is expected as is an updated steering wheel.

Watch the BMW X7, the iX, and the AMG G63 engage in a few rounds of tug-of-war

The ‘Carwow’ team, spearheaded by Mat Watson, staged a tug-of-war between three SUVs that belong to different segments. One is a new EV, the other, its sibling, a luxurious family SUV, and the final one, an iconic off-roader. We are talking about the BMW iX, the BMW X7, and the Mercedes-AMG G63. Since this is a tug-of-war, you’d expect the G63 to be the winner, since it comes with a lot of tech and equipment that has to do with traction and stability. But, is that really the case?

This 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Prototype Hides Few Secrets

The 2023 Mercedes GLC should be revealed on June 1st, but it looks like it’s ready now

Now, it looks like the company is finally ready to reveal some design elements of the next GLC, as the new prototype caught testing wears very little camouflage. That’s the good news. The bad news is that the next GLC offers no surprise when in terms of design language: as expected, it looks pretty much identical to the new generation C-Class.

900 horsepower for the Maybach GLS sounds even better!

Last year, Brabus unveiled the Brabus 800 package for the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC. The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Debuts With A 373-Mile Range, A 56-inch Hyperscreen, And 500+ Horsepower AWD Version!

Mercedes-Benz might have ticked all the boxes with the SUV version of the EQS sedan

Mercedes-Benz has taken to electrification like no other automaker. Audi comes a close second, but Mercedes is operating on a whole different level. The German marque has made sure it has offerings in every mass-market segment in the shortest time possible. Sometime last year, the automaker revealed five new vehicles in one auto show – the EQE sedan, the EQB crossover, the EQG Concept, the Maybach EQS SUV, and the AMG EQS. Then Mercedes followed it up with the Vision EQXX Concept and the AMG EQE

Without taking a break whatsoever, the automaker has now come up with the EQS SUV (the non-Maybach version). As the name suggests, it is the SUV version of the EQS sedan. It shares the same wheelbase, but is more spacious and comes with better cargo capacity. It will be offered in two trims – 450+ and 580 4MATIC – the latter being a 536-horsepower, all-wheel-drive version. With a range of up to 373 miles and a 56-inch Hyperscreen on offer, the Mercedes EQS might be an electric SUV that you can’t ignore!

The Brabus 850, based on the AMG GLE 63, took on the Lamborghini Urus and the Tesla Model X

Brabus is known for its mighty powerful builds. They are unlike any other aftermarket companies and tuners, and are one of the most expensive ones out there. So, when the good folks at ‘Carwow’ brought a Brabus creation to the race strip for some fun, it piqued our interest. Called the Brabus 850, it was a jacked-up Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 with oodles of performance upgrades. It went up against a Lamborghini Urus and a Tesla Model X Performance. The Mercedes GLC Will Have A Six-Cylinder After All, But Don’t Get Too Excited

The C-Class engine downsizing routine is still in full effect, but the GLC will have one little exception

As you know by now, the entire Mercedes C-Class lineup will soon be powered by four-cylinder engines, and that even includes the wild AMG C43 and wilder C63. The V-8 engine has, essentially, been replaced with a four-pot and an electric turbo. The full verdict isn’t in as to how well this is going to work out, but the same story will play out for the entire GLC – the SUV equivalent to the C-Class – lineup, or at least that’s what we thought.
