What makes the 2022 MINI Cooper S Convertible Resolute Edition special?

On the outside, the most obvious update is the Rebel Green body finish combined with elements finished in an exclusive Resolute Bronze. These elements will include the headlight surrounds, the radiator grille and rear lights, the side scuttles on the front side panels, and the handles of the doors and the tailgate. For even more contrast, Mini will also add a few elements in Piano Black finish, like the brand logos and model inscriptions, the inner frame and crossbar in the radiator grille, and the tailpipe trims of the exhaust system. The same black paint was used for the electrically operated soft-top – which can be activated while driving at speeds of up to 30 km/h.

For the exterior, Mini also added a special set of stripes that feature a pattern made up of parallel lines with a color gradient that runs between a light and a dark shade of gold.

A special set of 18-inch wheels in Pulse Spoke Black design is offered as standard, but customers can also opt for 17-inch alloy wheels in Tentacle Spoke Black design.

For the interior, the seats are wrapped in a combination of Black Pearl and Light Chequered fabric/leatherette, while Black Carbon is offered as an option. The black paint is contrasted with a pinstripe gold pattern similar to the one used for the bonnet. The steering wheel is wrapped in Nappa leather and features a discreet "Resolute" emblem in the lower area.

Under the hood, the Resolute Edition comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine equipped with TwinPower Turbo technology that delivers a total of 178 horsepower. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is done in 7.2 seconds.
