2017 Nissan Rogue Sport
The second-generation Nissan Rogue was introduced in 2013, and much like its predecessor, it’s a version of the X-Trail specifically revised for the North American market. Upgraded inside and out for the 2017 model year, the Rogue also gained a little brother for the 2018 model year. Dubbed Rogue Sport, this new crossover is actually the second-generation Qashqai, that Nissan launched in Europe for the 2014 model year.
In case you’re wondering, Nissan decided to the rename it the Rogue Sport as the company found that Americans would have trouble pronouncing the Qashqai name. In Canada, however, the Qashqai will retain its original name, which comes from the Qashqai people living in mountainous Southwestern Iran.
Aside from the name and minor revisions on the outside (due to homologation reasons), the Rogue Sport is identical to its European counterparts as far as design goes. Slotted between the Juke and the Rogue, the Rogue Sport is supposed to appeal to "singles or couples without kids who want a sportier vehicle and can live with a little less cargo capacity than the current Rogue offers."
The crossover gets its juice from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder connected to the company’s Xtronic CVT. This is the biggest engine available in the Euro-spec Qashqai, but not the most powerful, which is the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-pot. The crossover will be available in three trim levels: S, SV, and SL.

2017 Nissan Vmotion 2.0 Concept
Lately, Nissan’s autonomous vehicle efforts have focused primarily on the brand’s ProPilot technology, with hints that future iterations of popular models (such as the Qashqai and Leaf) could be instilled with self-driving features. Now, it looks like we’re getting better insight into what Nissan has planned with the Vmotion 2.0 concept car, which was just revealed at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. The striking, sporty-looking four-door not only previews future tech, but it also gives us a glimpse at Nissan’s next-gen styling language. All told, the Vmotion 2.0 is an attractive, luxurious, spacious sedan designed to meet the demands of hard-working business types, all while giving a nod to Nissan’s styling and technological future.
In Nissan’s own words, the Vmotion 2.0 “combines a high sense of style, emotional design, roominess, comfort and technology to make the mobility experience seamless for busy professionals constantly on the go.”
Of course, with a name like Vmotion 2.0, you gotta ask – where’s Vmotion 1.0? To answer that, we gotta look back to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, when Nissan brought us the Sport Sedan Concept. That car helped usher in the V-motion language we know today, characterized by a prominent v-shaped chrome band across the nose. V-motion can be seen across the current Nissan model lineup, with this newest concept pointing towards the language’s next evolution.
Starting in front, we find the chrome band has grown, extending down close to the pavement and stretching further from side to side in a prominent, 3D shape. These lines set the tone for more hard angles and cuts in the side intakes, which are repeated in the flanks with arrow-like creases. There are wraparound rear windows, a floating C-pillar, and a floating roof, while in back are “boomerang” taillights that add visual width. Nissan says the looks is meant to emphasize aerodynamic efficiency using something called “Emotional Geometry” design language.
Ingress and egress is aided by wide-swinging rear suicide doors, which in conjunction with the lack of a center pillar, adds to the car’s sense of cabin space. Complementing this is an extended wheelbase and lots of horizontal surfaces. Comfort is upped thanks to leather upholstery with thread-less quilting on the inserts.

Hot on the heels of the 2016 Nissan Titan XD hitting showrooms, Nissan has released this, the Titan Warrior concept, at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Built on the back of a Titan XD, the Titan Warrior concept shows just how aggressive the truck can become, and just how daring Nissan can be.
"Truck buyers have a seemingly insatiable appetite for more content and more unique offerings," said José Muñoz, executive vice president of Nissan Motor Company and chairman of Nissan North America. "Even though our all-new 2016 Titan XD just started arriving at Nissan dealers nationwide last month, we are already exploring new territory where Titan might go in the future."
It’s highly unlikely the Warrior concept will make production, but we’re betting that Nissan is paying close attention to the public’s reaction to this truck’s highly modified off-road suspension and vastly reworked exterior appearance. Perhaps the automaker has something up its sleeve to battle the Ford F-150 Raptor.
Besides the design study, the Titan Warrior concept was built to pay tribute to Nissan’s off-road racing heritage, dating back to the old Hardbody pickups that raced in the Dakar Rally. It also builds atop the recent “Project Titan” build that used crowd sourcing to construct the most hard-core first-generation Titan pickups to ever come from Nissan. The truck was then used by two U.S. Military veterans to traverse some of the toughest terrain in Alaska in a build-up to the launch of the 2016 Titan XD.

Nissan has pulled the covers off its third design concept today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Rounding out the launches of the Resonance Concept in Detroit last year and the Friend-Me concept first seen in Shanghai last April, Nissan’s new and boringly named Sports Sedan Concept has bowed in the Motor City.
Seen as more than just a design study, the Sports Sedan Concept has real potential for seeing its shapes and curves move into production, possibly in the for of the next-gen Maxima. Especially with the same cues mirrored in the other two vehicles, it’s a pretty safe bet this is the design direction Nissan is taking for its mid-decade makeover.
After giving the four-door sedan a chance to soak in our minds, it looks rather good. The sharp, dominating V-shaped grille sits between familiar fish-hook or boomerang-style headlights followed by a flowing, fluid-like motion along the sides, culminating together in a more angular rear trunk lid. A small, black strip visually cuts the C-pillars — combined with the blacked-out A-pillars — make the roof appear to be floating in mid air. The GT-R-esque, steeply-raked windshield rises to meet the steeply-angled roof right above the front passengers’ laps, then continues down and back, ending just behind the 21-inch wheels. It all works together making the car an aesthetically interesting and congruent collaboration of curves and angles.
As said before, the possibilities for the Sports Sedan Concept to see production are high, though not under that vague name. It’s likely to be the next Maxima. Nissan seems to be quite regarding details and specs of the under-body greasy bits, but some experts are reporting the venerable 3.5-liter V-6 will return, as will its current CVT powering the front wheels.

Nissan has unveiled a new addition to the Versa lineup at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. This new Versa Note will go on sale in the summer of 2013 at a price of $13,990 and in four different trim levels: S, S Plus, SV and SL Packages.
When compared to the Versa sedan version, the new Note version will get its own distinctive look, feel and added hatchback utility. Design elements have been inspired by the Note designation used in other global markets, and will include steeply sloped front windshield, sculpted front doors and dramatic character lines.
All four models will be powered by an advanced 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a Nissan Xtronic CVT transmission. This combination allows the new Versa Note to deliver an impressive fuel economy of 35 mpg, on combined cycle.

It looks like many automaker have used the 2013 Detroit Auto Show to preview their future design language, and Nissan is one of them. Their new Resonance Concept previews the "future direction of Nissan crossovers with smart, edgy design."
The exterior features a new V-Motion design language that includes the front grille, the hood and of course the new boomerang shaped headlights. What we really like about the new concept is that very cool Flare Orange exterior paint combined with the 22 aluminum-alloy wheels with Satin Chrome accents. The interior features a "VIP lounge" look and includes buttery leather and premium-stitched seats, an advanced instrument panel and a open glass roof.
The new Resonance is of course a hybrid vehicle: it combines a smaller displacement internal combustion gasoline engine with an electric motor

The Nissan Pathfinder entered the market in 1986 and is currently only in its third generation (which began in 2005). With seven years under its belt, it’s high time for this SUV to enter the next chapter of its life and Nissan is prepping that with its first concept version unveiled at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January.
The concept’s exterior will mostly be remained untouched in the production version and includes a wide chrome grille and large aerodynamic headlights, recessed front windshield wipers, chrome door handles and large rear combination lights.
The new Pathfinder Concept is powered by a refined V6 engine and next-generation Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that ensure a fuel economy increase of over 25%.
"Nissan is in a great position today. Sales are up, market share is increasing and our dealers have a great selection of 2012 Nissan cars, trucks and SUVs in inventory," said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc. "This new Pathfinder Concept is just the beginning of a far-reaching wave of new products on the horizon for Nissan. By the end of 2012, more than 70 percent of our sales volume will be all-new or redesigned."
UPDATE 02/08/12: A full month after the Pathfinder Concept’s unveiling, Nissan is offering new details on the preview SUV’s interior features. It seems that the concept, and the future production version, will be offered with leather upholstery, heated / cooled front seats, a power tilt / telescoping steering wheel, and a Bose audio system. There’s also a push-button ignition, tri-zone climate control, Bluetooth/iPod connectivity, GPS navigation, and a rear seat entertainment system. As a bonus to this news, Nissan is also offering new images and a new video showing the concept during cold weather testing.
A few years from now, the Nissan NV200 van will become one of the most recognizable vehicles on the planet, thanks to its future role as one of the primary taxis running around one of the most famous cities in the world, New York City.
But that won’t happen until late 2013.
Until then, Nissan will keep rolling out conceptual iterations of their van, beginning with the just-launched e-NV200 Concept, which the Japanese automaker unveiled in all its glory at the 2012 North American International Auto Show.
Taking the same face and color as that of the Nissan Leaf, the e-NV200 Concept is based on the NV200 multi-usage vehicle. It previews what is already expected to be a near-future production version of a full electric vehicle designed to provide businesses or families with flexible, roomy interior space, while achieving a dramatic CO2 footprint reduction.
It doesn’t do much in the way of attractiveness, but considering its clear and unbridled purpose of being an environmentally appeasing ride, we figure we could just focus on its true calling as a spacious zero-emissions ride.

Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) announced the addition of an all-new Nissan Versa hatchback and sedan for the 2007 model year. The new entry-level Versa is expected to have a MSRP starting at around $12,000. The hatchback model is scheduled to go on sale in early summer 2006, with the Versa sedan following in late 2006. The Versa is one of many enhancements to Nissan’s 2007 car lineup, which will include an all-new Sentra, all-new Altima and enhanced Maxima.
The Nissan Bevel Concept is a dynamic, multi-purpose vehicle that, unlike currently available sport utility vehicles or minivans that emphasize passenger needs and comfort, places its focus strictly on the primary user – male empty-nesters actively engaged in hobbies, recreation and community service. Bevel offers unique, function-inspired asymmetrical styling, a high-utility three-zone interior and technology ranging from glass roof-mounted solar panels to drive-by-wire steering, throttle and braking.
The new 2008 Nissan Rogue, which makes its world debut at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, is designed to add a new dimension to the small crossover utility segment – satisfying both the functional needs of the buyer and their emotional needs.
A pure, powerful sports car with motorcycle-inspired styling, the rear-wheel drive URGE features a quick, high-revving, small-displacement engine, 6-speed manual gearbox, brushed aluminium-alloy wheels, colour-infused aluminium body panels and a driver-oriented cockpit with an integrated Xbox 360 gaming system. It was created by Nissan Design America, Inc., La Jolla, Calif.
