After revealing the Venocara Concept in early 2012 and teasing the market with a few sketches, Arrinera has finally dropped the first images and details on their new supercar: the Hussarya. Not to be confused with the Pagani Huayra, this new Hussarya model gets its name from the world’s most powerful and effective XVII century cavalry – the Polish Hussars.

Designing the new Hussarya supercar took about 14 months and the result is quite amazing, even if there is still a big resemblance to other supercars, like the Lamborghini Murcielago. As for its performance figures, we expect to see amazing results considering it was built in collaboration with Lee Noble - the man responsible for the Ultima GTR.

"Arrinera Hussarya was created for automobile enthusiasts with a passion for fast and beautiful cars. For enthusiasts searching for intense emotions and a massive dose of adrenaline combined with the practicality of everyday solutions. With just a little extravagance mixed in for good measure." - Lukasz Tomkiewicz (CEO)

Updated 10/31/2014: Arrinera Automotive announced it begun testing the aerodynamics and the steering system of its new Hussarya supercar. This is one of the final stages of the supercar’s development, meaning that pretty soon we should see the car in its final form. A new set of images was also revealed.

Update History

Updated 03/31/2014: After being announced about two years ago, Arrinera Automotive finally released the final design language of its new Hussarya supercar. Check out the picture gallery to see how it will look.

Exterior and Interior

The design for the new Arrinera Hussarya is said to be taken from the air’s motion, which is why the company spent so much time achieving aerodynamic perfection. Arrinera says that the new design was "created by the flow of air streams moving around the body of the supercar."

The entire body features a countless number of lines that intersect, disappear, and re-emerge. Unlike the Venocara Concept, the Hussarya comes with traditional doors and a higher ground clearance.

One of the most interesting parts of the car’s exterior design are the two spoilers that serve as additional air brakes at speeds beyond 150 km/h (93 mph). The two spoilers can be activated by the brake pedal and deploy at an angle of 50 degrees to reduce braking distance.

The company will be offering an exclusive color palette, created especially for Arrinera Automotive by some of the world’s best known manufacturers of automobile paints. Specific colors have not been provided as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

The production Arrinera Hussarya didn’t get any adjustments from the concept version in terms of its engine. The Hussarya will be powered by the same 6.2-liter, mid-mounted V8 engine that delivers 650 HP and 604 lb/ft of torque. However, for customers interested, Arrinera can arrange for the Hussarya to deliver more power.

With the standard 650 HP, the Hussarya delivers amazing performance numbers: 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, 0 to 124 mph in under 10 seconds, 0 to 186 mph in under 30 seconds, and a quarter-mile time of 11 seconds. Top speed goes up to an impressive 211 mph.

Prices for the new Arrinera Hussarya haven’t been announced just yet, but in a previous statement, the company suggested it would be placed in the $160,000 range.

The Hussarya will become available for purchase no earlier than the end of 2013. Until then, the car Hussarya is scheduled for road and performance tests at the Applus IDIADA automotive research center in Spain.

For customers who cannot wait that until the end of 2013, Arrinera will be offering the 33 Series – a limited edition of the Arrinera Hussarya supercar. This special edition will be available sometime between August and September 2012 and will feature distinctive styling for both the interior and exterior.

There are a number of special edition supercars out on the market to give the Hussarya plenty of competition, but since Arrinera took its inspiration from the Murcielago, we’re guessing Lamborghini’s latest supercar, the Aventador LP700-4, will be its main competitor. The Italian supercar is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 700 HP and 509 lb/ft of torque - 50 HP more than the Hussarya, but also double the price: $379,700.

Of course, the Arrinera Hussarya is going to have to make up a lot of ground to be able to remotely compete with the legendary Lamborghini. If anything, Arrinera may be able to steal a couple of sales from Lambo, but we doubt they will even notice.

Press Release

Arrinera Automotive S.A. begun body aerodynamics and steering system tests on the Bielsko Biala airfield. This opens one of the final stages of the creation of supercar.

Arrinera Hussaryas tests are conducted in a real-life conditions of a race track. Last year we tested the functioning of the chassis. Today we are much further - were testing aspects of body aerodynamics and the functioning of steering system. The data that we collect will allow us to fine tune all the key elements of our supercar, which ultimately brings us closer to the moment, when Arrinera Hussarya will be presented in its final version, ready to hit the market. - said Lukasz Tomkiewicz, Chairman of the Arrinera Automotive and creator of the supercar .

Lee Noble participated in last years tests, today we can see on the airfield experts in aerodynamics from Warsaw University of Technology.

In supercars, that reach really great speed, there is no room for accidental shapes and elements of the body. Everything matters. Everything has a big influence on stability during driving, turning and on efficiency of brakes. We are checking, how our theoretical models behave in the real world. At this stage we test rear approach angle, moving aerodynamic element and diffusor flow, among others. - said Dr. Janusz Piechna Ph.D. D. from Warsaw University of Technology.

Its worth reminding, that our Arrinera Automotive and Warsaw University of Technology team has been recommended by National Research and Development Centre and received a grant of 642.400,00 Euro for their Active aerodynamics system for supercars project.

Arrinera Automotive started to work on the finish shape of the interior and invited famous designers from Luc&Andre company to cooperation. Limited edition of first 33 supercars is going into production in SILS Centre Gliwice. So far there was few hundred offers from potential buyers.

Global marketing strategy is in the hands of Arrinera Automotive Holding PLC, a company listed on British stock exchange, that recently opened offices in Silverstone Park.

great try great lambo body and vette engine ,,,,, the best of both worlds i must say lest put it this way the jap make toy cars best gas milage for every day use not very durable coz the engines burn oil prematurelly , the europeans make luxury cars with exotic body shape that fool the eyes of the buyers, but the engines arent worth it coz they arent as durable ,economical ,simple, and reliable as the the american ones, and the americans make cheap push rod engines that sound great , are very torqui, powerfull and economical and last for as long as you want them to

I like it on its overall appearance. They can still upgrade the engine and enhance its horsepower.

Looks like Lamborghini. I think they got the concept of this car from other manufacturers. Not a good idea in my own opinion.

This Hussarya has surprised the enthusiast with the capability of the Arrinerra to provide and produce Lamborghini-like vehicle. Even so, they made me believe on their pursuance on giving highly-respectable concept like this.

With its red paint exterior, no wonder, it drives enthusiast to purchase their model.

It looked a lot like Lamborghini minus the extreme aggressiveness and power.

Oh they will also offer the Hussarya for a special edition. I agree that this is really an alternative for those who want to have a supercar.

Ha ha. That’s one cool grandma in town. She’s very dedicated driving that Subaru despite her age of 91 years.

It looks good although it lacks design because it is an alternative for a super car. More components have been added to improve its performance.

I agree with the guys out there. This Hussarya is a big surprise on me. I’m not aware of the Arrinerra existing nowadays. Even so, they made me believe on their highly-respectable concepts.

Wow! Frankly, I will say that this was truly unexpected. It seems to be like they have chosen by looking through a minimalism glass. They totally ignored the pompous appearance and astounding performances of the super cars and they created their own.

It has a unique figure. But only unique it also has futuristic looks yet aesthetically eye-popping, especially in its bold red exterior. This is one good interpretation of the Venocara Concept and is sure to trigger a lot of excitement and mixed emotions from car enthusiasts.
