Although the Huayra is already two years old, Pagani’s state-of-the-art supercar has barely begun to conquest markets the world over. After reaching U.S. shores in July 2014, shortly after Pagani’s official launch in North America, the Huayra has now landed in China and Macau, where the Italian manufacturer established its Pagani China Automotive Limited (PCAL) operations. To celebrate its entry into the world’s biggest automotive market, Pagani created a special-edition Huayra limited to only three units.

Dubbed Dinastia, which translates to dynasty, the first three Huayras to reach Chinese customers are part of a 100-example allocation for the Asian country. According to Pagani, the first limited-edition Huayra to arrive in Asia consists of three cars because the Chinese pronunciation of the number three sounds like the character "sheng," which represents a new birth and the meaning of life. In the usual Pagani fashion, all three units will be delivered with unique exteriors and a theme specifically tailored for the Chinese market (read dragons and Chinese symbols).

Pagani Huayra Dinastia Special Edition in detail

The three carbon-bodied Huayra Dinastias are finished in blue, red and gold, three colors selected by Horacio Pagani himself. The exterior of the supercars are standard Huayra, with only a unique set of graphics setting them apart from their regular siblings. A dragon figure is printed on each of the front fenders, with a pair of stripes running the length of the body toward the rear — a thicker one along the waistline and a thinner one right above the side skirts. The gold car features red decals, the red Huayra is complemented by gold graphics, while the blue version has them finished in silver.

The contrasting combo continues into the black-and-carbon cockpit. Each supercar comes with matching seat bolstering and door panels, and their respective dragon and Chinese symbol prints on the roof — red, gold and silver, respectively.

Under the rear bonnet of the Huayra Dinastia lurks the familiar 6.0-liter, V-12 engine of AMG origin. Output remains unchanged at 700 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, but I bet the three lucky owners won’t complain about its power. The German mill is powerful enough to send the Huayra roaring from naught to 60 in only 3.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 230 mph.
