The Huayra BC Pacchetto Tempesta is arguably the best Huayra iteration ever launchedby Sidd Dhimaan, on LISTEN 02:19
Pagani launched the Huayra back in 2011. After all the 100 examples were sold out, the company followed it with four more limited-production Huayra models - Roadster, BC, Roadster BC, and the Imola. Now, to commemorate the original Huayra’s 10th anniversary, Pagani has introduced a special edition called the Pacchetto Tempesta. It is based on the Huayra BC and comes with aero and performance upgrades. For those of you wondering what ‘Pacchetto Tempesta’ means, it is Italian for ‘Storm Pack’.
What’s Special About The Huayra BC Pacchetto Tempesta?
The Huayra BC Pacchetto Tempesta is powered by the familiar 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V-12 engine developed exclusively for Pagani by Mercedes-AMG. In case you’re an avid Pagani fan, you would assume this Huayra would pump out the BC Roadster’s figures - at the most 791 horses and 774 pound-feet of torque.
However, the Pacchetto Tempesta actually makes 827 ponies and 811 pound-feet of oomph.
These figures are identical to the Huayra Imola. Power will be routed to the rear wheels via an X-Trac seven-speed transversal automatic gearbox.
Apart from this, the Huayra Pacchetto Tempesta also comes with a six-pipe exhaust system and a new suspension system with a ‘Soft Driving’ mode. As for the aero upgrades, the 10th-anniversary Huayra comes with:
- New Front Splitter
- Dedicated Air Intake
- New Rear Wing
- Integrated Central Fin
The Pagani Huayra BC Pacchetto Tempesta will debut at the Monterey Week at the Quail Lodge Golf Club. This will be revealed alongside the Huayra R that will also be making its world premiere at the event. Pagani will also showcase the new naturally-aspirated V-12R engine, a six-speed sequential gearbox, and an ultra-light Carbo-Titanium HP62-G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62 monocoque.
