When people decide to go out and buy a hybrid it is usually because they care about the environment and are interested in better fuel economy. The kind of people that typically go hybrid really don't care so much about the number of ponies the car is cranking out under the hood. That being said, we would tend to think the same idea can be applied for the new 2011 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid and its prospective owners.

Of course, there is always a tuning firm that tries to one up the car manufacturer and since Cargraphic has a thing for Porsches->ke1 anyway, they would be the logical choice to embark on a hybrid upgrade. Cargraphic has announced plans for a tuning package for the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid SUV. The tuning package will include a custom exhaust system and ECU upgrades that will increase the engine power by a few horsepower (to exactly how much we do not know yet). The tuner will also add a subtle bodykit, lowered suspension, and 22" wheels.

We can't wait to see what they come up with. It would be an interesting feat to tackle the engine of a hybrid and, although we don't think this kit will fly off of the shelves, it would be nice to have the option to juice it up.
