TechArt's love affair with Porsche started in 1987 and since then, the German tuner has been churning out all sorts of treatments aimed mostly at the 911 but also at Porsche's other models, like the Panamera.

The company's latest work is dedicated to the new 992-gen 911 Carrera S and Carrera 4S. It's also compatible with both the coupé and the cabriolet, offering sound, design, as well as power upgrades. Let's check it out.

TechArt doesn't do half-assed tuning jobs

As most Porschephiles already know, whenever TechArt comes up with a tuning pack, it usually brings the whole nine yards to the table. It's the case for the new performance options TechArt just removed from its magic oven.

Titanium exhaust for the Porsche 911

First on the list, the new titanium exhaust joined by a dynamic sound management setup works two-fold: it lets you choose the exhaust note via the 911's drive mode selector and at the same time, it adapts the exhaust tune according to your driving style.

The new setup is not just for show, so besides the carbon fiber exhaust tips (available in matte or high-gloss finish) that spice up its looks, the setup is also 40-percent lighter than a similar stainless steel unit.

Are there any engine upgrades?

Yes, there are. TechArt's power kit adds 80 PS (79 horsepower) and 100 Newton-meters (74 pound-feet) of torque in 911 Carrera S and 4S models without GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter), so overall, customers get 530 PS (523 horsepower) and 630 Newton-meters (465 pound-feet) of twist.

Models fitted with GPF get a bump of 60 PS (59 horsepower) and 80 Newton-meters (59 pound-feet) of twist, for a grand total of 510 PS (503 horsepower) and 610 Newton-meters (450 pound-feet) of torque.

Also worth noting is that the kit recognizes the 911's assistance systems, including the water detection feature. So once the 911 enters Wet Mode, the power kit reduces boost automatically.
