2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe
The 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe is a sleek, coupe-style version of the familiar Cayenne SUV and the German company’s competitor for the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, and the Audi Q8. Unveiled in 2019, it goes on sale for the 2020 model year with drivetrains borrowed from the regular Cayenne. Design-wise, it has a much sleeker rear end, but Porsche also altered the front fascia, which looks a bit more aggressive than the regular SUV.
Aimed at premium crossovers built by German companies, the Cayenne Coupe benefits from all the features available with the regular Cayenne. However, this SUV offers limited headroom for rear-seat passengers and has a slightly smaller trunk. Does it have what it takes to give the X6, GLE Coupe, and Q8 a run for their money? Porsche is officially going to have several versions of its Taycan all-electric model, one of which will be an estate or wagon model that will most likely be called Sport Turismo. The Taycan Sport Turismo is exactly the same as the sedan model, but with a bigger trunk and more practicality.
It’s actually going to be the first mass-market, purpose-designed, all-electric wagon ever, and no, the handful of coach-built Tesla Model S wagons don’t count.
The rest of the package remains unchanged, so it’s only going to be sold with an all-electric powertrain (don’t be fooled by the fake exhausts on the back of the camouflaged prototype in these photos provided by our spies) which will provide great performance, as well as a large lithium-ion battery pack for decent range.
Design-wise, expect a slightly more toned down version of the Mission-E Sport Turismo concept that debuted at the Geneva motor show this March. Porsche is apparently also going to make a higher-riding crossover-style version of this wagon, but it will be the sedan and wagon that will be the two main models.
But even if Tesla doesn’t make a production wagon variant of its Model S, that model is going to be the Taycan and Taycan estate’s main rival because it is already quite well established in its segment.

2020 Porsche 718 Cayman T
While most automakers these days are occupied with searching for new methods of extracting more and more power from their sports coupes, Porsche seems more concerned with something even more elusive - lower weight. As such, the German automaker has given birth to a string of lightness-adding model variants, including the likes of the 911 Carrera T. Now, Porsche is applying a similar performance philosophy to the Cayman. Like its 911 big brother, this fresh two-door takes the name “T” and offer a more driver-focused experience thanks to slightly less heft, a variety of standard performance equipment, and a few new aesthetic upgrades.
Porsche is set to launch a crossover-styled version of the Taycan. It will be based on the Mission E Cross Turismo, will be more off-road-worthy, and will be the third official model in the Taycan range.
It won’t differ too much from the concept, featuring mainly detail changes, but the same overall body and design. Some details, like the mirrors, the roof, and the rear light cluster will be different, as we’ve seen on Taycan sedan prototypes that are currently undergoing testing.
The Taycan sedan will be revealed sometime in 2019 and hit the market in 2020, so the Taycan crossover should debut sometime after the turn of the decade.
2018 Porsche Cayenne Turbo by TechArt
TechArt cut its teeth in the tuning world developing programs for Porsche models. Now it has a new one for the Cayenne Turbo, and it’s even partnered with high-end furniture maker Rolf Benz to develop the program. Exterior, interior, and drivetrain upgrades are all part of the menu, though there’s a good chance that all anybody’s going to be talking about is Rolf Benz’s involvement in the program.
2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid
Porsche updated the Cayenne for the 2018 model year, but the hybrid version wasn’t quite ready. Now that the 2019 models are about to roll into dealers, Porsche has finally pulled the covers off of the new 2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid, a direct replacement for the Cayenne S E-Hybrid. It brings some serious improvements to the table over its predecessor and the standard Cayenne too. We’re talking about things like faster acceleration, more electric range, better efficiency, and increased power, among other things. It also brings all of the new styling cues and technology introduced with the 2018 Cayenne to the hybrid market.
2018 Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo Concept
Back in 2015, Porsche unveiled the Mission E concept, an all-electric super sedan that featured drivetrain technology developed for the 919 Hybrid race car. It didn’t take long for Porsche to confirm a production model and the test cars spotted on public roads began to fuel everyone’s dreams of a premium competitor for the Tesla Model S. While the Mission E is still under development, Porsche wants to expand its all-electric lineup with a different model. It’s based on the Mission E design- and drivetrain-wise, but it’s aimed at the booming crossover market. It’s called the Mission E Cross Turismo and previews a production model that will surely become the Porsche Cayenne of the electric market.
Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the Mission E Cross Turismo is a sporty crossover that combines elements seen on the Mission E sedan, the Cayenne, and the Panamera Sport Turismo. Yes, it’s a shooting brake that rides as high as a crossover, and it previews a competitor for the Tesla Model X. Porsche has already confirmed that a production model is underway, with the release date set sometime in 2019. It’s still one year away, but at least it’ll be here sooner than the Mission E, which took at least three years to become reality. And, by the looks of things, the Cross Turismo concept looks ready to go into production for the most part.

2018 Porsche Panamera by Techart
TechArt’s work on the Porsche Panamera extends all the way from the saloon’s introduction in 2009. If there’s one thing I don’t like about today’s hybrid car market, it’s the lack of station wagons. Seriously, you have plenty of options for every configuration, including supercars, but station wagons are pretty much restricted to a handful of models like the Toyota Auris wagon and the Volvo V90 T8. And you can’t even get the Toyota in the U.S. Fortunately, this just changed with the arrival of the arrival of the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Sure, it’s not exactly affordable, but it’s a breath of fresh air if you’re in the market for a fast yet efficient vehicle with a little more room in the trunk than a standard sedan.
As you might have already guessed from the name, this Sport Turismo is essentially the wagon version of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid that Porsche introduced at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. It has the same sporty design, but with a shooting brake roof, and the same powerful drivetrain that combines the company’s massive V-8 with an electric motor, and a battery. 2019 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
Porsche has a history of making absurd vehicles, but this might take the cake – at least for now. It’s the new 2019 Cayenne Turbo and it packs 550 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged V-8 that turns all four wheels while four-wheel steering and active aero bodywork scramble to keep it pointing straight. Think of it as the playboy’s version of the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
Porsche pulled the covers off the new high-powered SUV at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show to a crowd of gleeful onlookers. No doubt people fawn on whatever Porsche attaches its crest too, including tall SUVs and four-door sedans with a hybrid powertrain. Granted, the German automaker generally knows how to screw a vehicle together, but Porsche has certainly been carving out new territory over the last 17 years. As for the new Cayenne Turbo, well, it’s muy caliente, so keep reading for the juicy details. 2018 Porsche Cayenne
Porsche has ushered in a third generation of the Porsche Cayenne, but before you get too excited, you should be aware of the fact that it looks quite a bit lot its predecessor. Now, this isn’t because Porsche was lazy. No. This is because the Cayenne went through an extensive update just back in 2015, so after three years it was time to make some changes while leaving the relatively fresh body intact with just little extras here and there. As such Porsche focused its energy on what happens beneath the skin bringing updated or new technology that includes rear axle steering as standard equipment, a three-chamber suspension, 48-volt electronic roll stabilization, and two new engines that offer up more power and better economy. At the skin level, we see a revised interior and exterior that is really more of a honing to the previous layout than an update, but it’s exactly what the Cayenne needed to take its respective segment by storm in 2018.
For now, there are only two trim levels available – the base level Cayenne and the Cayenne S. Like the second-gen model, it will likely take a couple of years, but Porsche should fill the lineup with a diesel and a plug-in hybrid variant at some point. There’s also the potential for an all-electric model at some point in this generation if Porsche really gets froggy, but we’ll leave that speculation for another time. For now, let’s take a good look and the new Cayenne and talk about all of the exciting changes that will carry it into the next decade.
2018 Porsche Panamera Stingray GTR by TopCar
It’s been a while since we last saw a prominent aftermarket company develop a program for the Porsche Panamera. In fact, ever since the Porsche unveiled the second-generation Panamera this time last year, the tuning world has been surprisingly quiet on this front. Well, consider this one of the first tastes of a heavily modified, second-generation Porsche Panamera. And to the shock of no one, it comes from TopCar, one of the most prominent Porsche tuners in the business.
The Russian tuner has worked on Porsche models longer than most tuners have been around. It’s responsible for the Stinger program for the 911, the Vantage program for the Cayenne, and a host of other works for other Porsche models, including the Macan, the Boxster, and the Cayman. Now, TopCar is setting its sights on a next-generation program for the next-generation Panamera. The kit is what you’d expect from TopCar. It’s got extensive aerodynamics that borders on over-the-top. It’s got a lavish interior offering that includes all the premium materials a customer can think of, including 24-karat gold. And it’s got a significant engine upgrade. In other words, it’s a TopCar tuning kit for the Panamera that owners of the luxury saloon will have a hard time saying no to, provided that TopCar’s tuning methods are in sync with what they’re looking for.

2017 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S Magnum Sport "Edition 30 Years" by TechArt
Regardless of what you may think of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, there’s no denying the SUV has made a significant impact in the auto industry. But now that the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid is set to replace the Cayenne Turbo S as the flagship model of the SUV line, there’s no better way to give the gas-powered SUV the perfect swan song by putting it in the hands of TechArt, the German tuner of all things Porsche. Serendipitously, TechArt’s latest program for the Cayenne Turbo S comes at a time when the tuner is celebrating its 30th anniversary. 1980 Porsche Bisimoto 911BR "One-of-a-Kind"
In the 1971 film Le Mans, Steve McQueen delivers one of his all-time most memorable quotes: “When you’re racing, it’s life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.” That attitude wasn’t just a figment of McQueen’s onscreen character – the man really did live to go fast. When he wasn’t acting, McQueen participated in a variety of professional racing series, and when he was acting, he regularly performed his own stunts behind the wheel. The Porsche you see here is a rolling tribute to the McQueen mythos, a customized one-off creation packed to the brim with performance-enhancing modifications and polished subtlety. If style were a liquid, this thing would be an ocean, and next month, it’s going to the highest bidder.
Slated to hit the block at the 2016 Mecum Collector Car Auction in Monterey, California, the Mecum website describes the 911BR as “a no expense spared bespoke Porsche” that “reflects [McQueen’s] personality and penchant for straight line performance, cornering prowess and understated appearance.”
Proceeds will go to benefit Boys Republic (hence the “BR”), a non-profit organization in Chino, California that serves troubled adolescents. Since 1907, Boys Republic has helped more than 30,000 at-risk teenagers, including McQueen himself, who credited Boys Republic with refocusing his life towards success.

After months of speculation and tons of spy shots including camo-free, pre-production models, the facelifted 991-generation 911, also known as the 991.2, has been unveiled ahead of its official debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
At first glance, the updated 911 confirms what we already suspected: updates inside and out are rather mild, while the highlight of this facelift lurks under the hood. Rumors about Porsche’s plans to turbocharged the entire lineup (save for the GTS and GT3, at least for now) have become official and the Carrera gained forced induction for the first time in its five-decade career.
Tubocharging aside, the new Carrera also comes with an updated chassis, improved dynamics, upgraded in-car technology, and rear-axle steering, an option previously available only with the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo and 2014 Porsche 911 GT3.
The 991.2 is set to arrive on U.S. soil in the first quarter of 2016 for the 2017 model year. Meanwhile, let’s have a closer look at its new features and performance figures in our review below.
