2022 Kia EV6 Crossover Arrives in the States To Put Ford In Check
The Next-Gen Audi A4 Arrives In The Shadow of a High-Performance EV
In 2021 alone, Audi has flipped the script, fully embracing electrification without thinking twice about it. What started with the E-Tron GT quickly led to the release of the Q4 E-Tron and Q4 E-Tron Sportback. And, just when you thought that was enough, Audi hit us with that cool-as-hell A6 E-Tron concept. Now, we’re learning that Audi is planning to stir up the pond even more, and this time it’s the RS4 that’s in the crosshairs, and you’re probably going to think this is really good news.
2021 Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition - Is It Really That Bad Ass?
Riding high on the success of the Ranger in Europe, Ford launched a special edition of the truck based on the Ranger Raptor. Called the Ranger Raptor Special Edition (no marks for creativity there), the truck comes with aesthetic upgrades and wide tracks. It rides on the same drivetrain without any power bumps. The automaker is pushing it as a ‘badass’ edition of the truck. But, what’s so badass about it?
2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Pro
Ford launched theF-150 Lightning EV last week and it mostly drew positive responses. The talking point was the sub-$40,000 price for the commercial variant, which would result in being cheaper than the standard F-150 after factoring in the federal tax credits and state incentives. The automaker had not revealed the specs for it then, but we do have them.
The company has coined this commercial trim as the F-150 Lightning Pro. As a sub-$40,000 EV, it looks alright on paper. But, look at it as a work truck – which it is – and you will be disappointed.
2021 Hyundai i30
If you follow what’s happening in the automotive world, you’ve probably noticed how Hyundai cars have turned from cheap and unremarkable into worthy alternatives to already established manufacturers. When it comes to mass-produced vehicles, the Hyundai i30 is right up there with the likes of Toyota Corolla and Volkswagen Golf. The i30’s rise to its current status began at the 2010 Frankfurt Auto Show, where the second generation shocked Volkswagen executives, wondering how the Korean brand could come up with something so good. The i30 is currently in its third generation, but what really makes it so good?
The Ford F-150 Lightning Could Undercut Every Other Full-Size Truck on the Market
It’s not been long since Ford launched the electric 2022 F-150 Lightning. There are a lot of talking points about it, but the highlight is its price. Ford had announced in the past that it isn’t looking at building EVs costing more than $100,000. This meant that the truck would top out in the high five-digit figures, but no one expected a sub-$40,000 starting price before federal tax credits. Account for the state incentives along with it and the effective price falls under $30,000 in some states!
Motor1 compiled a list of the prices after factoring in the incentives and discounts and it looks like the F-150 Lightning will be the cheapest full-size truck you can buy today!
With less than impressive sales in one of the most profitable segments of the American vehicle market, and an ageing, 14-year old generation still on dealer lots, the Toyota Tundra is arguably due for a complete overhaul. And I’m here to tell you that the all-new and improved 2022 Tundra is closer than ever, with an estimated launch date sometime towards the end of 2021 as a 2022 model year.
Keep reading to find out all the latest information regarding the third generation Toyota Tundra, a truck that will be „dominating” soon.
2018 - 2020 Yamaha Star Venture
Yamaha took a little hiatus from the full-dresser market to the tune of almost a half-decade, but the Tuning Fork Company broke its fast in 2018 with the release of the all-new Star Venture. This ride clearly comes geared to take on Harley-Davidson’s touring line in general, and the Road Glide Ultra specifically. Ambitious? You betcha, but Yamaha did its homework and put together a machine that brings a torquey, big-inch, V-twin to the U.S. market in a rather tour-tastic package with over 37 gallons of dry storage across the two hard bags and trunk box.
The Ford F-150 Lightning Breaks Cover As A Sub-$40,000 Electric Truck
In July 2019, Ford came up with a one million-pound towing stunt. That was the first time we heard anything related to its electric truck. It served as an official confirmation that Ford was working on an electric F-150 to take on the likes of the Tesla Cybertruck and the Rivian R1T. Almost two years later, the truck has finally arrived.
Ford has revived the ‘Lightning’ moniker for its electric truck. The F-150 Lightning is the quickest and the most powerful F-150 ever. The maximum payload and towing capacity are rated at 2,000- and 10,000 pounds, respectively. The biggest revelation, however, is its price. The electric Ford F-150 Lightning starts at a shade under $40,000 for the commercial trim and $53,000 for the base trim.
2021 Kia Sorento - Driven
The 2021 model year marks the fourth generation of the Kia Sorento. The previous generations were soft, curvy, and rounded, but the 2021 model is boxy, sexy, and a lot sharper. The company has pinned the SUV on a new platform, and has introduced new hybrid and plug-in hybrid engine options. The cabin feels fresh, more spacious, and can be had with captain chairs in the second row. All in all, the family SUV is a huge improvement over the outgoing model. The 2021 Kia Sorento recently arrived at TopSpeed headquarters and we have to say, it is pretty darn impressive.
Mazda Sets Its Sights On The Future, And The Next-Gen Mazda 6 Is The First Big Step
Mazda sits in a segment I like to call affordable luxury – they are fun to drive, fairly nice on the inside, very comfortable, and they have a sporty edge to them. This has become even more true as Mazda has starting improving both quality and its design language. However, with the hype leading up to the introduction of the Mazda 3 Turbo, we’ve sort of forgotten about the rest of the lineup. Today, I want to talk to you about the next-gen Mazda 6 and how it’s going to push Mazda into a new world of performance, luxury, and design.

It’s been a while since FoMoCo’s train-pulling PR stunt came to further hype the arrival of the all-electric Ford F-150.
