Unlike all the random special edition trucks from various automakers, this one actually justifies the tag. Ram recently introduced the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Ram Power Wagon and comes with a significant amount of changes inside out. The Power Wagon has been on market for 75 years, stretching its heritage to World War II. The 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition will arrive at the dealerships by the end of the year and is priced at almost $67,000.

What’s Special About This Truck?

On the outside, the truck features a black mesh grille with a gunmetal-finished RAM badge on it. It comes with gloss black surrounds on the headlights and other add-ons like diamond black door with a “Power Wagon 75 Years of Service” door badge and rock rails with side-step capability. The truck rides on 17-inch painted cast-aluminum beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires. We saw the 1500 TRX come with beadlock wheels first, but they were 18-inch set wrapped in 35-inch tires. This special edition even features special graphics on the tailgate.

The 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition is offered in a special Diamond Black Crystal exterior shade. You can have it either in monotone or dual-tone shades. The latter includes:

-* Granite Crystal Metallic

-* Billet Silver Metallic

-* Hydro Blue

-* Patriot Blue

-* Delmonico Red

-* Flame Red

-* Bright White

-* Olive Green

-* Molten Orange

What’s Different On The Inside?

On the inside, the 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition comes with a Mountain Brown leather interior. The bucket seats are stamped with commemorative “Power Wagon 75” logo. Some other interesting elements include gloss black instrument panel inserts, center console and dashboard badges, and a dark brushed aluminum radio surround with piano black silverline accents.

This edition comes with a 12-inch touchscreen that runs on the Uconnect 4C infotainment system. There’s a 750-watt, 17-speaker Harman Kardon sound system offered as standard. The truck also comes with another TRX feature – off-road pages. This shows data regarding ride height, transfer case position, pitch and roll, and accessory gauges. Other goodies include a 360-degree camera which includes forward-view camera gridlines that will be immensely helpful while off-roading.

What’s Under The Hood?

Power is sent to all the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 75th Anniversary Edition comes with some additional off-road equipment, such as a unique suspension, factory lift, electronic transfer case, locking front and rear differentials, electronic disconnecting front sway bar, and a 12,000-pound WARN Zeon-12 winch with a synthetic line as standard.

Final Thoughts

The 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition comes with an impressive number of changes inside out. The company hasn’t announced until when it will be up for sale and neither if there's a cap on the number of copies it will produce. It is set to arrive at the end of this year and is priced at $65,250, plus a $1,695 destination. This is a premium of roughly $12,700 over the price of the standard 2020 Power Wagon, which starts at $53,350 plus a $1,695 destination charge.
