Since the debut of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe, there have been a number of bespoke coupes made, including the 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Al-Adiyat , 2015 Rolls-Royce Suhail Collection, 2013 Rolls-Royce Phantom Bespoke Chicane Coupe, and the 2013 Rolls-Royce Phantom Ghawwas Edition, among others. Now, a new Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe has been created – this time called the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Tiger. Just like when the Phantom was updated back in 2013, there have been no modifications to the 453-horsepower engine. On the other hand, the car did receive a custom paint job and customized interior that makes this Phantom stand out even more than it already does.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is already a special car, be it in coupe, sedan, or drophead form, but there’s always room for customization. It is unfortunate that nothing has been done to modify the engine in any way, but then again, 453 horsepower isn’t something to shrug your shoulders at either. Let’s take a look at the Phantom Coupe Tiger Edition and see just how special it really is.

What makes the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe Tiger Edition special

The tiger is a ferocious and spiritual animal that is as graceful as it is powerful, and that’s where the inspiration for the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Tiger comes from. This special edition Phantom Coupe has been painted in a two-tone Burnt Orange and Arizona Sun paint, highlighted with a Tiger motif twin coach line – symbolizing the animal of which this coupe takes its name from.

Tan and Seashell colored leather graces the interior. Hand-stitched Tiger motifs are embroidered on the seat headrests – paying even more tribute to the amazing animal. Adding to the exclusivity of this Phantom, there are also Maccasser Ebony Veneers and Bespoke Tiger Phantom Coupe tread plates. Protecting the carpets are Moccasin Lambswool floor mats. With the Arizona Sun finish on the hood, roof, and pillars, the tan leather on the dash really stands out through the windshield.

Granted the list of modifications is rather small in comparison to some of the models we’ve seen in the past, but in the case of this car, less really is more. Modification of the body or adding too much to the interior would just take away from the soul that makes the Phantom a piece of art.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe was updated for the 2013 model year. That update was the only update the coupe and its four-door siblings have received since its initial debut in 2007. The Phantom is powered by a 48-valve, V-12 that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The car has a curb weight of 5,795 pounds, but that V-12 manages to push it to a governed top speed of 155 mph, while the sprint to 60 mph takes just 5.8-seconds. While these performance numbers aren’t bad considering the weight of the Phantom, fuel economy suffers at just 11 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. According to various online sources, a 2015 Phantom Coupe has an MSRP of $471,175, which may or may not include options.
