Supreme Rolls-Royce opulence festooned with the power of Mansory

I am about to tell you about the Rolls-Royce Phantom garnished with decorative pieces by Mansory and then jeweled by an effortless push of 602 thoroughbreds. It is Mansory’s way of going above and beyond. Above and beyond anything one may consider customary, appropriate, or even becoming. It is as bizarre as Halloween cosplay and as exquisite as a ball gown. It is controversy in understanding, and harmony in dissonance. It is the Rolls-Royce Phantom by Mansory.

I would argue that gliding through the atmosphere, carried by a swoosh of hot air, is as close to freedom as one may get. Such a dignified spectacle can be almost recreated on the roads as well. Riding in the back seats of the Rolls-Royce Phantom is more comfortable for sure, but the sheer exquisiteness of its cabin pursued by a definite insulation from the outside world is as equally liberating as gliding, although fundamentally opposite in its execution. That is what Rolls-Royce is all about - being as free as a bird, but in a way, some may even call profligacy.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom by Masonry is profligate and lecherous. But it is impeccable and irresistible much the same.

Serving as a blank canvas, the long surfaces of Phantom that where almost artistically endowed upon creation are now ornamented with side skirts, front aprons, and a spoiler lip. This broke the imaginable barrier every Rolls-Royce has to protect itself from, what some may call, the “real world”. Is it realistic to expect of Rolls-Royce - a car producer - to be an artist? A virtuoso?

I would fight that it is. But for Mansory? Not so much.

In this case, the Mansory doings keep the Phantom away from honorable and decent. It cements it among lavish and excessive with a dash of class thrown in the mix.

Mansory formulated the exterior touch up with obscenely large wheels. Something Rolls-Royce never imagined. But this is not a usual Rolls-Royce anymore. And its designers did not imagine a redesigned front bumper. The new one is deeper, extends closer to the ground, and takes a whole different attitude towards the road. The rear side, on the other hand, features four tailpipes. It’s almost as a sports car, isn’t it? Well, maybe similar to a sports car, but bear in mind the Phantom is a massive piece of machinery. Those wheels cover 24 inches in diameter. That’s huge. The obnoxiously painted Rolls-Royce Phantom reveals yet another Mansory trait not many would ever consider. I am talking about the two-tone finish. Mansory offers a number of hues - even a freaking pink finish or a yellow one. Not exactly sophisticated. Or is it?

Yes, Rolls-Royce does offer a fundamental shift in understanding of how cabin personalization works. Yes, you can order anything. Yes, it will all be of the most amazing quality you have ever seen.

However, Mansory has thrown away all that’s meaningful, and tasteful and replaced it with something amazingly glamorous.

Yet, there is a thin line between glamour and kitsch. I’ll let you decide what this is.

For me, it is a clash of two worlds - a clash of utter luxurious sophistication with touches of sport. The sport touch actually being the metal finished pedals. Do I even have to tell you that Mansory will do anything to the Phantom interior you may want, imagine, or think of while on drugs. That’s the deal with high-end merch - you can have it all, in high quality, but with a massive price tag.

Compiling the Rolls-Royce Phantom and trying to overstep the bounds of Rolls-Royce conventionality (whatever that may be), Mansory sports exhaust and an ECU remap released a bit more oomph from the 6.5-liter V-12. Now at 602 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque, the Rolls-Royce Phantom by Mansory took a step toward insanity, and I presume made a case for the Phantom to accelerate to 62 mph in around 5 seconds.

Final Thoughts

With the never-ending rise in popularity of the Cullinan SUV, the Phantom does seem to be left out on the sidelines of the utterly luxurious world. Yet, the Mansory-tuned machine is certain to get your attention. A lot of it. The Rolls-Royce Phantom by Mansory is obscene, salacious, and heinous. Not with ethics, not with morals.
