Staying true to the fact that they have become the official supplier for ECU upgrades, aero kits, brakes, exhaust systems, and a few other modifications for Saab models on the US market, Hirsch Performance has unveiled one of the projects they have been working on. The Saab 9-3 sedan by Hirsch Performance has been unveiled at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show featuring some pretty impressive little extras on it interior and exterior.

The specific model revealed at the show received a 30 HP upgrade, but that is only one of the options provided by Hirsch. Crack open a Saab 9-3 with a 2.8 Turbo V6 engine and Hirsch can pump it up to 300hp (up from 276 HP). Other engine setups can get updates from 140hp to 300hp.

The exterior wasn’t left untouched as Hirsch Performance is offering a rear spoiler, a carbon fiber body kit with a front splitter and rear diffuser, a four-piece mesh grille set, and a new set of 19" 6-Twin alloy wheels to give the Saab’s look a bit of spunk.

Depending on how much money the customer is willing to spend, Hirsch Performance can customize your Saab in every which way imaginable.

I love the lowered look of Saab 9-3. It’s not too edgy and the whole shape is great. The price is quite reasonable with good quality components.

It looks like a hybrid vehicle on that platform and body paint. Well, I hope that it’s not. Anyway, I’m really so fond with the hygienic body paint of it even on its decency.

It looks like a hybrid car smiley I’m impressed with the decency and the hygienic looks of it, but I don’t think that V6 engine would give a better performance on it.

Sorry, I’m not really familiar with sedan type of cars but I can tell the power output of this car is powerful enough to deliver a better handling. BTW, its a good thing that they are offering may options for this Saab production.

Probably my favorite convertible. I mean, at least probably my favorite under $50,000.

A neighbor of mine has the Saab 9-3 convertible in black. In black the front silver accents look awesome, and it’s a convertible.

Now ask yourselves if you would fly on a Boeing if it’s selling point was *designed by drivers, only one of whom had flown on a plane before*. It’s time for Saab to die. Actually that time was a long time ago.

I would expect nothing better from a car company that boasts of having been created by flyers, only one of whom had a driver’s license.
