The second model in Scion’s new Monogram Series set to be unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show is based on the recently revised tC. Just like with its FR-S brother, Scion will inject the new tC Monogram Series with lots of luxury features that will help draw higher-end buyers to the brand.
Of course, we would have preferred to see some more changes to the tC’s exterior, but Scion decided that only the interior needed most of the extra love to "provide a great price to go head-to-head with the competition and encourage more drivers to get excited about experiencing a Scion."
The new Scion tC Monogram Series is limited to 2,500 units this year and hits dealerships starting in February 2014. Prices start from $21,400 for the six-speed manual version and $22,400 for the six-speed sequential automatic version.

Scion wanted to inject more luxury into its models, so at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, it will arrive with a new Monogram Series for a few vehicles, including the FR-S. This new upgrade adds Alcantara and navigation to Scion’s popular sports car, among many other new features.
The new FR-S Monogram Series will hit the market in February at $27,400 for the six-speed manual version and $28,500 for the six-speed sequential automatic version. Scion is also offering an optional premium Whiteout color priced at an additional $395. Only 2,000 FR-S Monogram Series units will be produced this year.
On the exterior, the new FR-S Monogram Series will look basically identical to a standard FR-S, except for its color-keyed rear spoiler and standard HID headlamps with LED daytime running lights. Most of the updates included in this new package are on the inside, and they represent a retail value of over $1,900.

Scion only recently unveiled the FR-S sports car - the American version of the Toyota GT 86 - and their racing arm is already unleashing the FR-S Race Car - a racing prototype developed in cooperation with GReddy. The Scion FR-S Race Car made its debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, but will be making its racing debut in the 2012 Formula DRIFT series with veteran driver, Ken Gushi, behind the wheel.
The FR-S Race Car was obviously inspired by the street version, but it will be further adopted for the race track. It will get an improved aerodynamic kit, racing livery, a larger rear wing that will maintain stability at high speeds, and of course, a racing oriented interior with a roll cage that will ensure security in case of a crash. The most impressive part, however, is that the FR-S Race Car will develop an impressive 600 HP - up from the car’s standard 200 HP.
Scion will unveil at the Detroit Auto Show the special edition xB Release Series 6.0. It will go on sale starting February at a price of $15,750 for the manual transmission and $16,700 for the automatic transmission model. It will be limited to 2500 units.
The xB Release Series 6.0 comes exclusively in Absolutely Red exterior paint. A unique front grille with custom black finish and Release Series wheel covers distinguish this limited production xB. A color-keyed rear spoiler will be available as an option.
On the inside this special edition features a touch screen Pioneer Audio Visual Navigation (AVN) headunit with flash memory, voice recognition, MSN Direct, and Bluetooth.
