2019 Toyota Research P4 Automated Driving Test Vehicle
Toyota seems to be on a roll at CES. The company showcased its technology called ‘Guardian’ a couple of days back, and now, it has unveiled the TRI-P4 automated driving test vehicle. The P4 is based on the all-new fifth-generation Lexus LS 500h and will be used in Toyota Research Institute’s Guardian and Chauffeur automated driving system development.
BMW Has More Leaks Than a Cheap Tent as the 2020 7 Series Configurator Accidentally Goes Live Early
A fresh batch of leaked images of the new 2020 BMW 7 Series has surfaced online. The new images show the front, side, and rear of the 7 Series in the M760Li, 750Li M Sport, and 750Li. It’s not the first time this week that we’re seeing the new 7 Series before it’s scheduled to debut at the 2019 North American International Auto Show. In a span of a few days, leaked photos from Russia surfaced on the Internet, giving us a peek at the luxury sedan. No less than a day a later, the full front section of the 7 Series was shown, providing us a clean look at the sedan’s massive corporate grille. Suffice to say; it hasn’t been the best of weeks for BMW’s anti-leaks division if it even has one in the first place.
Mercedes-Benz Debuts the 2020 CLA Class At CES With Fresh Tech
Rather than pulling the sheets at a traditional car show like Detroit, Merc decided to drop its new CLA Class in Vegas at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show, debuting the new fun-loving compact alongside a host of fresh interior tech that’s sure to grab some eyeballs at the gadget-laden event.
This Leaked Image of the 2020 BMW 7 Series Showcases a Grille Larger Than That of the 2019 BMW X7
If there’s anything other than the Great Wall of China that can be seen from the moon, it has got to be the BMW’s latest kidney grilles. Even though people were critically vocal about big grille on the 2019 BMW X7, the German automaker does not seem to be affected by it. Now, a picture has surfaced that shows the 2020 BMW 7 Series sedan with an even larger grille slapped on it. Strike that. It shows a huge kidney grille with a BMW 7 Series slapped onto it.
Here’s Your First Look at the 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA Before You’re Supposed to See It
Mercedes-Benz plans to reveal the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA today at the CES in Las Vegas. However, I got my hands on a few fantastic photos before Mercedes-Benz officially revealed them, and I can tell you right away - the 2020 CLA looks the business. While all the 2020 Mercedes-Benz specs are still hidden somewhere in the Daimler hard drive intestines, I did find out that the new car is longer, wider, and lower. Plus, thanks to a few teasers, I can see that the inside of the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA is a far nicer place than ever before.
If This Leak Shows the 2019 BMW 7 Series Facelift, It Looks a Lot Like the 2014 BMW Vision Future Concept
The BMW 7 Series has been around since the late ‘70s, with the latest sixth generation dropping back in 2015. Now, however, it’s time for an update, but before the big official sheet pull, we’re getting a sneak peek thanks to a recent Instagram post that reveals the front three quarters of the new vehicle completely undisguised.
The 2020 Mercedes CLA Coupe Debuts Tomorrow at CES, Here’s a Sexy Teaser
The 2019 Consumer Electronics Show is just around the corner, and with it arrives a series of new debuts from the major automakers. The latest comes from Mercedes, which just dropped a short teaser video for its new second-generation CLA Class. The official details are light as of this writing, but there’s a good chance this updated four-door coupe will be rocking some serious technological firepower.
The China-Only 3-Series L is Nearly As Long as the BMW 5 Series
Premium automakers give China special attention because the Chinese market is so big and lucrative that it makes a lot of financial sense for them to do so and that’s why they all have long-wheelbase versions of the sedans they sell there. The latest premium sedan to be launched is the all-new 3-Series from BMW, and it really didn’t take long for the stretched model to make its appearance.
2019 Mitsubishi Lancer Edition R by Dytko and Proto Cars
Polish company Dytko Sport, who specializes in building parts for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo rally cars, created what can only be called the Lancer Evo XI. Partnering with the company Proto cars, Dytko Sport utilized the Dynamic Shield design philosophy of the latest Mitsubishi line of vehicles and slapped the parts on the Evo X. I can only tell you this - it looks the business. While the full reveal is still a few days away, the officially named Lancer Edition R has already gained serious Internet traction and fame, even waking up dreamy Lancer Evo X enthusiasts in the process. The stories about the comeback of the Lancer name are already swamping the Internet, but I can tell you right away that the only way Lancer Evo will ever come back is in the form of a Crossover. Nevertheless, Dytko Sport obviously formulated something awesome that undoubtedly took some time to build.
2020 Genesis SUV And 2020 Hyundai Sonata Coming In the Next 12 Months
Hyundai and Genesis are in for a rather amazing year. Both brands will reveal as many as 13 different new models - some facelifted, some new. As per my understanding, the biggest news is the imminent arrival of a new premium SUV with a Genesis badge. Judging by the stunning new Hyundai Santa Fe SUV (that isn’t premium), I expect nothing less than extraordinary and stunning from the upcoming Genesis SUV. The second big debut for 2019 is the coming of the new Hyundai Sonata. We’re looking forward to that one too.
Polestar 2 Finally Teased And This Is What We Know About It
Polestar revealed the first photograph of what is to become its second model - the 2 - only hours ago. Scheduled for a full online reveal in a few weeks time and for a live reveal at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the second Polestar vehicle will be a full EV. No hybrid nonsense here. While information about the Polestar 2 is still quite sparse, I have found a number of curious facts about the new four-door electric fastback that will go right after the Tesla Model 3. Heck, Polestar even mentioned the Tesla Model 3 in its PR about the Polestar 2 teaser. Let me tell you - this kind of PR is highly unusual. Apart from giving us a glimpse of the new car, we also got a few tidbits about the Polestar 2’s specs.
Volvo to Offer Driver-Focus Cameras - Does the Concept Threaten Our Privacy?
Volvo has decided to offer a driver-facing camera in its cars within the next one year, citing it as a safety feature. With privacy being a real issue these days and AI intruding the personal space, is this a wise move? Also, how are the introverts and camera-conscious people supposed to drive with camera staring at their face at the all time?
