The Smart #1 will be the most powerful Smart ever made
The first all-electric Smart will come with a single electric motor, powering the rear wheels. Maximum output is rated at 200 kW (268 hp)
An impressive range for a sub-compact EV
According to the WLTP cycle. the Smart #1 will boast a maximum range of 273 miles (445 km) on a single charge
Fast-charging capabilities
AC charging at 22 kW will recharge the 66kWh battery from 10 to 80% in 3 hours while DC charging drops the time to around 30 min, at 150 kW
A perfect competitor to the Mini Countryman
The British/German model also has an EV version. The design and dimensions of the upcoming Smart #1 place it in the same segment as the retro-futuristic and also quirky Mini
The Mercedes connection is apparent
The tall, sloped center console, nicely trimmed air ducts, and centrally-positioned, 12.8-inch touchscreen are reminiscent of current Mercedes models
A hint of sportiness
The Smart #1 will feature a flat-bottom steering wheel with leather upholstery and neatly integrated buttons
Flexible interior
In addition to next-level connectivity, the rear seats in the Smart #1 can slide back and forth, depending on whether you need more legroom or cargo space
The first Smart #1 to be produced exclusively in China
As part of the Daimler-Geely joint venture, the Smart #1 will be manufactured in China and based on Geely's SEA platform
