2020 Jaguar XF and XF Sportbrake
This weekend, Jaguar will happily sell you a four-cylinder Jaguar XF with a $9,000 discount, or you can opt for the performance-oriented Jaguar XF S and take $11,000 off the normal sticker price. The latter, by the way, comes with a supercharged V-6 that’s good for 380 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. On your way home, you can sprint to 60 mph in as little as 5.0 seconds! The XF is one of the most fun cars in its segment and, if you want to be a little different, talk to your local dealer about the Sportbrake model – they’ll likely give you an even bigger discount if you have some decent negotiating skills.

2020 Chevy Bolt EV
The Chevy Bolt EV might not be the prettiest car in the world (or on this list, for that matter), but it is about as green as they get. The 2020 model will net you around 240 miles on a single charge and can take in juice at the rate of 90 miles every 30 minutes on a DC fast charger. If you opt for the 240-Volt in-home charger, you can give it a full recharge overnight (about 9.5 hours). The Bolt EV carries around a 50 kWh battery and a single electric motor that’s good for around 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. It definitely won’t beat a Tesla to 60 mph, with a starting price of around $36,000 and a Memorial Day rebate of $8,500, you can get into a brand-new Bolt for less than $30,000!

Dodge Challenger
If you have the wife squared away with her mom-mobile, then maybe it’s time you start looking for your very own car. This Memorial Day weekend, you can step into the Dodge Challenger with discounts ranging anywhere from $3,050 for the 305-horsepower Challenger GT to as much as $7,970 off the 797-horsepower Challenger Hellcat Redeye. The Challenger itself is definitely getting old, but it’s still one of the best muscle cars on the market today and, if you have the cash to spend on the Redeye, you’ll be hardpressed to find a better performing car on the market.

If you’re not someone who’s into having the latest and greatest and don’t mind driving a Kia, then you might want to consider the 2020 Kia Optima this weekend. The Optima is due to be replaced for 2020, but getting into a 2020 model might come with a very nice tradeoff. First, Kia is officially offering $3,500 off the Optima LX and SE or $4,000 of the Optima EX, S, and SX. Despite the fact that it’s set to be replaced soon, the Optima still offers a comfortable, quiet ride, a decent infotainment system, and – at these discount levels – a strong value. Also, since dealers are struggling in the wake of COVID, you might be able to negotiate an even bigger discount on the basis that they need to sell cars, and the Optima is set to be replaced, so try negotiating.

I was never a fan of the Chrysler 300 because of all the little problems it had in the early 2010s, however, as we approached 2020 Chrysler really got its act together. The 300C can be had with all-wheel drive and fairly decent performance. It is quite comfy, and it’s one of the last American sedans on the market, but you will find that the interior is still a little dated. Alright, single guys and ladies, avoiders of children, and solo road warriors, this entry has you written all over it. Fiat is selling the 124 Spider with a decent $2,000 rebate, which effectively brings the price down to $23,440 for the entry-level model. This fun little roadster is, basically, a rebadged Mazda MX-5, so it does have some heritage beyond the Fiat name, and it packs a fiat engine.
