Blast From The Past: The Bristol Fighter Is a Viper V-10-powered Unicorn With Gullwing Doors

The Bristol Fighter is a bonkers, 1990s remix of a Dodge Viper, Mercedes 300SL, TVR Cerbera, and a Lamborghini Espada

When a car company starts out as an airplane manufacturer, you can expect some very unusual and downright crazy design and engineering decisions. Bristol is one of those companies, and one of the last cars to come out of its assembly plant is the Bristol Fighter. It looks like what Mercedes would have built, if the idea of a 300SL Gullwing successor was realized in the 1990s, only this one has an all-American Viper V-10 up-front. YouTuber and car nut, JayEmm managed to get his hands on one of the very few made and shared his impressions on one of the strangest British sports cars ever made.

1992 Aston Martin Virage and Virage Volante 6.3-litre Conversion

1992 Aston Martin Virage and Virage Volante 6.3-litre Conversion

Aston Martin Works breaths fire into the engine bay of the Virage, turning it into a British V-8 muscle car

With modern cars becoming more and more artificial, we can see how there is a market for resto-modded, updated, or reimagined classics and young-timers. It seems Aston Martin Works was ahead of the game since in 1992, a 6.3-liter conversion was offered for the first-generation Aston Martin Virage and Virage Volante (convertible), made between 1989 and 2000.

2022 BMW M3 Competition - Driving Impressions

2022 BMW M3 Competition - Driving Impressions

The M3 Competition is an impressively fun car, though it’s not for everybody

The BMW 3 Series is widely regarded as the poster child of what a compact luxury sedan is supposed to be. The M3 Competition, on the other hand, serves as a firm representation of what a compact performance saloon should be. The range of sheer precision and performance between a base 3 Series and the M3 Competition is so wide that the two couldn’t feel more different from a driver’s perspective. With just over 500 horsepower on tap, is the M3 Competition really suitable as a daily road car, though? I spent a week with it to find out, and let’s just say that there’s more to the M3 than the grille.

2022 Porsche 911 Super Carrera Electric By Modern Classics

This Porsche 911 SC hides BMW i3 electric propulsion and makes as much power as the original car

2022 Manhart MH1 350

350 horsepower sounds a lot better for a sports hatch

When BMW announced the 1 Series M135i, we knew that it doesn’t really have a chance to stand against the likes of the Volkswagen Golf R or the Mercedes-AMG A35. But, with the new updates offered by Manhart, things might be a little bit different.
