Kia used the EV9 name for the first time back in 2021 when it unveiled a concept with the same name at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It was just a preview of Kia’s assault on the premium EV segment. It took Kia less than a year to start testing a production version of the EV9 concept, as our spy photographers caught a first prototype out in the wild.
Spy Shots: An Early Look at the 2024 BMW Z4 Facelift
It’ has been three years since we got the G29 generation of the BMW Z4. It is common knowledge that the Bavarian roadster and the Toyota GR Supra share a chassis and an engine, although Toyota has reportedly done its own tweaks. While we already know what to expect from the 2023 GR Supra, we expected its technological twin, the Z4, to also get a refresh. As it turns out, we were right to expect it since the BMW Z4 facelift prototype has been spotted in Munich.
Spy Shots: An Early Look at the 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3
It’s been a little over a year since we’ve seen the new 911 GT3 and it seems that a facelift version is just around the corner. While all eyes are focused on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS that is supposed to be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, our spy photographers caught the Porsche 992.2 GT3 out for a first testing session around Nurburgring. Of course, these are just some early prototypes, which means the official debut is not going to happen until later in 2023.

Spy Shots: An Early Look at the 2023 Hyundai Veloster N Hybrid
At the end of June, Hyundai announced that the Veloster N will be dropped from the U.S. lineup. In fact, this should come as no surprise considering that the non-N Veloster was also killed last year. Instead, the company will focus its attention on cars like the Kona N and Elantra N. So, what’s with this Veloster N hybrid prototype caught by our spy photographers on the German streets then? Will it only be offered in Europe? Or is it a ghost that won’t be offered at all?
Land Rover Range Rover Velar Is About To Receive a Well-Deserved Facelift
The Velar is a relatively new model in Land Rover’s lineup, with production starting back in 2017. Despite being only five years old, it seems that the Velar is next in line for an update. After launching the fifth generation Range Rover, Land Rover engineers are preparing a mild facelift for the Velar. Our spy photographers caught the first prototypes during hot weather testing in southern Europe. And, as you may have expected, the changes are minimal and limited to only a few updates to the front and rear look.
The Mythical Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Emerges From Its Slumber
Lamborghini is preparing to say goodbye to its ICE-only powered models. In 2023, the Italian company will launch the successor for the Aventador - a model powered by the traditional V-12 engine but helped by a hybrid system. In the meantime, 2022 will bring a lot of cool, non-hybrid supercars for Lamborghini. We’ve already seen the Huracan Tecnica, but there are three more models to come. One of these three is a production version of the Sterrato Concept that was revealed back in 2019. A prototype of this car was caught many times before, but after that, it disappeared, and it was believed that the project was canceled. Well, now it is back! A Huracan Sterrato prototype was caught testing outside Lamborghini’s factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The Audi A4 has been with us for quite a while now, which means it’s a perfect time for a completely new model. Spy shots of the standard A4 have already surfaced online, which means that the development of Audi’s 3 Series rival is currently underway. However, this particular test mule that we’re seeing here is probably not your ordinary A4.
2024 BMW 5 Series - A Retro Look With Modern Tech?
The BMW 5 Series has long been one of the brand’s most significant models. With nearly 50 years of history and millions sold, the 5er has enjoyed great success. The current G30 generation was recently updated, so it’s not going away in the next couple of years. Spy Shots: An Early Look at the Lamborghini Aventador’s Successor
In June 2021, the Italian supercar marque, Lamborghini, bid goodbye to its V-12-powered Aventador with a limited-run Ultimae model. Since then, anticipation for the replacement has building, but it seems like the waiting period is slowly ending. Spy photographers had the chance to snap a few photos of the upcoming electrified Aventator’s successor, and the “spaceship”-like look continues as the CEO promised.

Spy Shots: An Early Look at the Lamborghini Urus Hybrid PHEV
Lamborghini is currently working on a facelifted version for the Urus known as the Urus EVO. Latest spy shots reveal that the Italian company has another surprise prepared for the Urus fans: a plug-in hybrid version is also under development. It was caught testing at the same time with the Aventador’s successor, a plug-in hybrid version of the Panamera, and the facelifted Cayenne - mostly because Lamborghini will share the plug-in hybrid technology with various Porsche models.
Spy Shots: An Early Look at the 2023 Audi E-Tron GT
Audi announced the e-Tron at the 2018 Paris Motor Show and sales begin in early 2019. After only four years on the market, the E-Tron GT is preparing for an update. At the same time with the base version, the Sportback version - launched later in 2020 will also be updated. In fact, these will be the last update the electric crossover will receive before being replaced altogether in 2026 by the Q8 e-tron.
Spy Shots: An Early Look at the 2025 BMW X3
BMW’s hottest-selling compact SUV, the X3, is just a year old since it has received a facelift, and a new generation X3 is already in the making and will possibly launch in 2024 or the beginning of 2025. Our photographers have caught the upcoming fourth-generation X3 prototype near BMW headquarters as they were being loaded onto a trailer.
