Toyota made some major changes to the 2021 Toyota Supra, the most important of which come in the form of updated power output for the six-cylinder model and the introduction of the four-cylinder Supra to the U.S. market. However, there was another gem hidden in Toyota’s announcement, and that is the Supra A91 Special Edition. It doesn’t come with any extra power over the standard model, but it is based on the six-cylinder model, so it does have the extra power.

What’s important about the A91 special edition is the exterior coloring, which is your choice of Nocturnal or Refraction, the latter of which is new and exclusive only to the A91 special edition. The exterior is enhanced by a black carbon fiber spoiler, C-pillar graphics, and carbon fiber mirror caps. There’s also special “Toyota Supra” lettering on the red brake calipers. The inside is trimmed out with black Alcantara leather and blue contrast stitching. As a bonus, you’ll also get two A91-exclusive key gloves and a bespoke trunk mat.
As is the case with all six-cylinder Supras from 2021 onward, the A91 edition is good for 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. It will sprint to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and it will top out beyond the 150 mph mark. Prices for the 2021 Toyota Supra and the A91 special edition will be announced sometime closer to the fourth-quarter of 2020 when it goes on sale. When it does go on sale, though, you better run quick – Toyota is only building 1,000 of them before the design will be retired forever.
