The Venturi Héritage completed its first test drive on the Paul Ricard circuit on 7th and 8th March with Olivier Beretta at the wheel in the official tests of the FIA GT3 championship. This presence on the track on the planned date consolidates all the efforts undertaken by the Gyrfalcon Brand since announcing its return to competition as part of the FIA GT3 European Championship.

First 'dynamic' step of the Venturi programme, the initial time on the track revealed very healthy behaviour and considerable potential, even if it was rather restrained by some teething problems with the gear box.

This first test drive has so allowed a lot of information to be stocked before embarking on a complete programme of tests over the coming days, under the technical direction of Gérard Ducarouge and in close collaboration with JMB Racing, who will operate a team of 3 cars this season.

Olivier Beretta declared after these 2 days of tests: "The car is literally brand new since we have just completed its first test drive. The overall structure has done excellent work in very little time. It’s a great start: the Venturi has fifty kilometres on the clock whereas certain of its competitors have already completed several test runs. It epitomises the spirit of a real GT3 car."
