• 2011 Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 35

The Golf GTI entered the scene back in 1976, so with its 35th anniversary nipping at our heels, Volkswagen will be celebrating with the launch of the special edition "Golf GTI Edition 35." The new model will go on sale in mid June and will be priced from €30,425 in Germany, or about $44,000 at the current exchange rates.

The most impressive feature of the new Golf GTI Edition 35 is the extra 25 HP worked into the 2.0-liter turbocharged TSI engine, taking the output to a total of 235 HP. Next to this, the special edition will also add a front bumper shine with a new design, bespoke alloy wheels, blacked-out headlights and taillights, darkened windows, and glossy black finish on the grille and mirror caps. For the interior, the 35th anniversary GTI will get fabric upholstery with an "Edition 35" logo on the doors sills, the head rests, and the center of the seats.

UPDATE 06/20/11: If you’re waiting for the Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 35 to make it to our soil, then we have some pretty bad news for you: don’t hold your breath. Apparently, Volkswagen of America has no plans of bringing the special edition model in this neck of the woods because, in as short as four words, they don’t want to. Tough luck.

It is absolutely fascinating on its body paint, the sleeks and designs was fine, and what I like most about this car is its impressive engine and very reasonable price.

Yeah! It really looks like an Audi vehicle. However, I still find it more glamorous than with Audi and can offer a more powerful and efficient engine which could truly give a nice and impressive speed on this.

Its exterior detailing is truly so striking and impressive, but I must say that, just like them, I am also very disappointed on its interior. It looks boring on its inside feature.

It is absolutely looks so awesome and striking on its sleek body paint and aesthetic design, but I hope they also add some advanced technology on its interior, but I must say that I’m glad that it had an impressive engine.

It looks so fabulous and awesome! It had a luxurious appearance that everyone would love and a very irresistible appeal, but I just noticed that the interior is not really impressive at all. The interior touch looks boring.

It really looks so fabulous and great on its sleek body paint. Its turbo charged TSI engine can surely give a better and great performance on this car. Well, the mileage is also looking so elegant on it.

I’m impressed with the classy and expensive appearance of this Golf GTI. The car lines seem so elegant on it, and I love the fact that the price of this one is so affordable and reasonable, and I noticed that it doesn’t have a powerful engine.

The look of the car is very impressive with its wet-look paint, and the performance upgrade is great. Even if it is just a bit tweaks. It will still add for the performance of the car. Too bad it will not be available in the US market.
