There was a time when we had either work trucks or semi-luxury trucks, but those times have long past. Today, you can have really nice daily driver trucks, work trucks that are nice enough to double as family vehicles, and American trucks packed so full of luxury that you would swear they came straight from Germany. The 2019 Ram Laramie Longhorn is a vehicle that bridges the gap between all segments and lays down proof that you can have plenty of luxury and a workhorse at the same time. When it drinks gasoline, it can deliver as much as 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque while the diesel sucker can pump out 370 horsepower but a whopping 850 pound-feet of torque. That torque figure isn’t groundbreaking or segment-leading, but it’s enough to give this truck the balls to do just about anything you’d like it to do. On top of that, it has all the luxurious niceties you’d expect from a high-end vehicle, including plenty of chrome, loads of tech, and fine leather.
