Dallara made a very strong impact with the Stradale. While it managed to tag itself as a street-legal car, the Stradale’s latest iteration, the Stradale EXP, has jumped the fence and entered into the track-only territory. It comes with a larger wing at the rear, a center-mounted exhaust system, and an aggressive rear diffuser. The roofless car will also have a top speed of 180 mph and can generate up to 2,755 pounds of downforce!

What’s Special About The Dallara Stradale EXP?

The Stradale EXP features the same carbon fiber monocoque as the standard Stradale. While the road-legal version can be had with a roof if you’d like, but not the Stradale EXP. It comes with a new rear wing that – along with the dive planes – can generate up to 2,755 pounds of downforce at its top speed. It also features an aggressive rear diffuser.

In fact, the company has even made some bold claims about the Stradale EXP. It says the little monster can achieve better times than the GT3 competition winners. These aren’t just random claims; the car achieved quicker lap times during test runs at the Mugello Circuit in Tuscany, Italy.

The Dallara Stradale EXP is powered by the same engine as the standard car. It is a Ford-sourced 2.3-liter, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that makes 492 ponies and 516 pound-feet of twist. This is 97 horses and 147 pound-feet of torque more than the standard Stradale’s power output. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox. Unlike the regular Stradale, the Stradale EXP isn’t available with a six-speed manual transmission. However, the automatic comes with a manual mode. It also features Normal and Sport driving modes.

The 0-60 mph time has not been announced, but we expect it to be in the whereabouts of low three seconds. The standard Stradale takes 3.45 seconds to 60 mph from a standstill. The top speed is rated at 180 mph, up from 165 mph. It is also capable of pulling 2.7g when carving corners. And, did we mention the weight? Well, it is pretty light and stands at 1,960 pounds; just 77 heavier than the standard car.
