Cadillac is normally known more for luxury as opposed to speed. However, they often combine the two into something spectacular. From the garage to the track - Cadillac is sure to have a fast model that you will love. Let's take a look at some of the fastest Caddys on earth!

10 Cadillac Le Mans - 126 mph

We'll start things off with a nod to the past - something for the older generation to enjoy. Without them, the fast cars we know and love today wouldn't exist. This Caddy was named the "Le Mans" for a reason - it completed the 24 hours of Le Mans endurance race in 1950. Only four of them were ever made, one of which went missing in 1953 and has yet to be found. They each had a 250-horsepower version of Cadillac's 331 V-8 engine which gave them plenty of speed on the track with speeds of up to 126 mph. Not bad for its time!

9 Cadillac XLR-V - 155 mph

Now we jump to a Caddy we all know and love - XLR-V. This cocky little sportscar has a top speed of 155 mph thanks to its 443-horsepower supercharged Northstar V-8. The supercharger and four "intercooler cores" were built right into the intake manifold. Its larger brakes from the Z51 Corvette gave it better-stopping power as well. Overall it was a fun car to drive around and has made its way into many garages. Although it was on the pricey side, so they were still somewhat rare to see.

8 Cadillac CTS-V Bike! - 160 mph

A bit of a tongue-in-cheek addition to the list - the only Cadillac motorcycle ever made. They were custom bikes made by Paul Teutel and Paul Teutel Jr of American Chopper. Junior's bike was awesome compared to his old man's - it was a very cool-looking bike that kept the caddy style on point. It came with an impressive V-twin engine with a bonus nitrous booster which allows the bike to reach top speeds of 160 mph!

The Ciel was a killer concept car from Cadillac that came with a 425-horsepower, twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter direct injection V-6. It also came with a hybrid system using lithium-ion battery technology. This allowed it to reach speeds of up to 174 mph. Its sister car, the Elmiraj, was a coupe version of the car and was equally cool.

Sixteen what? Sixteen pistons baby! This Caddy concept was granted a V-16 engine. It was able to turn its pistons on and off to allow a range of 4-16 of them to be going at any given time. This wild design allowed for over 1000-horsepower to be pumped out when the car was going full speed (almost 200 mph) with all 16 pistons pumping. That's quite a haul!

The CT5-V Blackwing features a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine that produces 668 horsepower. This gives it an impressive top speed of about 200 mph. One would never guess by looking at the humble-looking four-door that it had such vigor. It even had the option for carbon-ceramic brakes which was a nice touch. Overall you could have a lot of fun in this very fast car, from the track to your driveway. It's made its way into the hearts of many Cadillac fans across the globe with 9,446 copies sold in the U.S. in 2021 and a much higher 62,098 models sold in China.

4 Cadillac Cien - 200 mph

This car was simply too expensive to make it from concept to market, but its specs were through the roof. The Cadillac Cien had a longitudinally mounted 60-degree, 7.5-liter V-12. This beast was able to crank out 750 horses and has a top speed of over 200 mph. Similar to the Cadillac Sixteen, the Cien had a highly experimental engine that featured direct injection and displacement on demand, which allowed the engine to switch between numbers of pistons. Even for the very rich, a $24 million price tag was too steep for any serious interest - the concept was buried.

The Cadillac Northstar LMP was a series of Le Mans Prototypes. They were built by Cadillac for use in the American Le Mans Endurance Racing Series. It was considered a triumphant return after a long absence from the track for Cadillac since it hadn't participated in Le Mans since 1950. It came back hard with a radical new racer named the Cadillac Northstar LMP. It had a Northstar V-8 engine inside that gave it a top speed of over 200 mph. Its body design is built for racing speed with excellent aerodynamics and downforce ability.

The Cadillac DPi-V.R is the Caddy we have seen on the track a lot lately. It started competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in North America in 2017. This marked Cadillac's return (again) to sports car racing. Unveiled on November 30, 2016, it has been a strong competitor on the racetrack. With its super high-tech small Block V-8 the car is able to reach 210 mph. It's soon to be replaced by our final list entry.

1 Cadillac V-LMDh - 215 mph

It's expected to make some serious improvements on the track for the Cadillac team. It will be able to beat the DPi-V.R's top speed with a whopping 215 mph max speed.
