If you are in the business of checking out world debuts, you go to auto shows; if you want to see what the latest in the aftermarket scene you, you go to tuning show.
But if you want to see some of the most fancily dressed supercars, you check out the Gumball 3000 Rally. Every year, this event features some of the finest supercars on the planet. But more than just the exotics themselves, the supercars that participate at the Gumball 3000 Rally come in all shapes and colors.
Take this Ferrari 599 GTO for example. This is brought to you by Team 50 and as clearly evident from the paint, it’s been dressed in colorful band of colors with matte black occupying the bottom part of the car with some touches of gold on the stickers.
The upper part appears to be a digitized blue camouflage with a French flag on the hood, the British Union Jack on the roof, and a small Swiss flag on the side deck lid.
We don’t know what the deal is with those flags, but overall, this 599 GTO looks absolutely amazing. Then again, “amazing” is par for the course at the Gumball 3000 Rally.

The Gumball 3000 Rally is an event that brings some pretty interesting project cars out of the woodwork. This year, we’re already seeing a whole lot of them with the latest one coming from Nissan and French publishing house L’Ecurie and INTERSECTION Magazine.
The two will actually be part of the pan-European parade and for this trip, they decided to deck out a unique Nissan 370Z Nismo. In what could very well be an attempt to showcase the 370Z Nismo on the streets of Europe, the Japanese automaker and the French publication house entered the 370Z Nismo as "Car 56" for the parade as an ode to the garage number (56) the Nissan DeltaWing occupied at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
As far as aesthetics go, INTERSECTION Magazine gave it a pretty unique camouflage livery that it designed specifically for the event. That livery and all the added goodies Nismo added to the Z ensures that this special-edition model is different from the rest of the 370Zs out there.
Best watch out for this unique iteration of the Japanese sports car at the 2013 Gumball 3000 rally. It will be piloted by INTERSECTION Magazine contributors Patrice Meignan and Jeremy ‘Jey’ Taltaud.

In the past few years, Jon Olsson shown quite a passion for customizing special Ultima GTR supercars for the Gumball 3000 international road rally. For those of you who do not know, Gumball is an annual 120-car deep, 3,000-mile road rally that takes place on public roads with a different route each year. Last year’s Gumball took place in the U.S., so this year it is Europe’s turn.
Jon Olsson is one of the guys always present for the rally. For example, in 2011 he developed a special Ultima GTR in collaboration with ADV.1 wheels. For the 2013 rally, his sponsor is Rebellion Racing Team, which is where the name of the car comes from, obviously.
According to the first details, the new Rebellion is a prototype-like conversion, featuring Audi-inspired headlights and Veneno / LMP1 + rear fins and tons of sponsor stickers.

After having been involved in the Gumball 3000 rally for the past years, Team Galag is set to return for their third round this year, except that instead of bringing their respective cars for the 3,000-mile drive, they’ve decided to build their cars.
Not one, but two of them.
One of the cars Team Galag is trying to create before Gumball 3000 starts in the end of May is a one-off concept supercar called the TG1. Yeah, you read that right. These guys are building a one-off concept supercar that they’ll use for a race. Not lacking in resources, are we Team Galag?
So far, the only known details Team Galag has released is that they’re project will be a joint collaboration with the fellas over at SyFy Channel’s Parker Brothers Concepts. On top that, Team Galag promises that the TG1 will be a bespoke build that will carry a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged 24-valve V-6 engine, tuned and re-tuned to produce an output of 750 horsepower with a top speed in excess of 200 mph.
No official numbers have been released yet, but the team is expecting the TG1 to run 0-to-60 mph in 2.68 seconds and 0-to-100 mph in 5.65 seconds.
Rest assured, we’ll have more details about the TG1 when Team Galag officially unveils this one-off concept supercar.
