New Rendering Envisions a Real-Life Need For Speed Toyota Supra
The 2019 SEMA Auto Show hosted no less than five different Toyota Supra concepts. None of them, though, can compete with the audacity of this custom rendering of a tricked-out Toyota Supra created by Ambielec Design.
Inspired by the Need For Speed: Heat video game that was launched earlier this month, this Supra rendering wears what is arguably the wildest wide-body kit we’ve seen on the returning Japanese sports coupe. It’s modified to an extent that the only two possible reactions to this rendering are to either love it or hate it. We’re still not sure where we are on that scale.
Are Cars Without Windshields Becoming a Trend?
McLaren unveiled the Elva supercar earlier this week, and among its many unique features, it included one that has become trendy among supercar brands in recent years. Folks, the Elva is the first production McLaren that doesn’t have a windshield. In fact, it doesn’t have a roof, either. Windows? What are those?
As striking and unique as the Elva is, it’s not the first performance car to adopt this kind of appearance. In this decade alone, there have been a number of other performance vehicles that were created with the little-to-no-windshield design. Some arrived as concepts while others turned into production models. Either way, these five vehicles pulled the design off to varying degrees of success.

When Ferrari decided to replace the 488 Spider, we go the F8 Spider – a drop-top version of the F8 Tributo with a carry over of technology and chassis technology from the track-bred 488 Pista. It might not be quite as dynamic as the 488 Pista, but third V-8 powered Italian is good for 710 horsepower and 569 pound-feet of torque – enough to push 60 mph breeze through your hair in just 2.9 seconds. As the epitome of topless performance, the F8 Spider competes against the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and the McLaren 720S Spider, but we’re so stuck on the F8’s design that we’ve decided to feature it as our wallpaper of the day. BST shows its radical new electric motorcycle designed by Piere Terblanche - The HyperTek
So, there are days when you wake up and rub your eyes to clear out the haze and see things clearly. Well, this is one of those. The haze is not the water in my eyes, but this all-electric motorcycle that is calling itself the HyperTek.
A gorgeous sci-fi machine built by the famous carbon-wheel supplier – BST (Blackstone TEK), the HyperTek has been designed by Piere Terblanche who’s visions have given us multiple Ducatis, Cagivas, Moto Guzzis, and Confederates. This time though, Terblanche has consciously gone bonkers with his design, creating a robotic machine on two-wheels that reads out data on an integrated heads-up display in the bespoke helmet.

You don’t get to see a Dodge Demon every day. Then again, you don’t get to see it as it stretches its muscles during some good ol’ drag racing in the company of a Toyota Supra, a BMW E30, and Savage Garage’s Ford Raptor. Oh, and this is no prep drag-race, by the way, as the whole scenario unfolds in the desert, between bursting clouds of sand.
Now that we have your attention, get ready to be amazed by the Supra, which proves extremely apt at putting down the power and generating enough grip to shoot ahead of its rivals, literally leaving them behind, choking on its dust.
The Interior of This Porsche 993 "Greenwich" By Gunther Werks is the Epitome of Perfection
Gunther Werks is back at it again. The crew that brought us the limited-edition $525,000 400R is working on another 993 model dubbed the Greenwich Commission. It’s not fully revealed yet, but Gunther Werks isn’t shying away from bumping our heart rates with a set of interior pictures.
Yes, we’re drooling. But as awesome as it might be, we expect the Greenwich Commission’s interior to be backed up by an exterior and an engine that are least on par when it comes to divine attention to detail and exquisite craftsmanship. Could that be just enough to give Singer a run for its money?
2020 McLaren Elva
The 2021 McLaren Elva is a brand-new supercar that the British firm added to its Ultimate Series lineup, alongside the Senna and the Speedtail. A two-seat open-cockpit design, it’s inspired by a series of race cars built by Bruce McLaren in the 1960s under the McLaren-Elva name. It’s McLaren’s first open-cockpit road car and its lightest road-going vehicle yet. A track-ready roadster with an aerodynamic design, the 2021 Elva features the most powerful iteration of McLaren’s twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V-8 engine. Rated at 804 horsepower, it slots above the Senna in terms of power and falls behind only the Speedtail hybrid. Let’s find out more about this beast in the review below.

It had been over a couple of weeks that we’d learned about the Japanese Green Team’s acquisition of the celebrated Bimota brand from Swiss-Italian entrepreneurs Marco Chiancianesi and Daniele Longoni. But little did we know that this hostile effort would turn out to produce a no-holds-barred hyperbike powered by most powerful motorcycle engine in production in a jiffy, and we’ll get to see it in the flesh.
Imagine the thunderous H2’s 998cc supercharged mill harnessed in a Bimota Tesi chassis with the state-of-the-art electronic wizardry. That, my friend, is what the Bimota Tesi H2 is all about. It is the best of Japanese engineering and Italian architecture the modern world is going to witness and was unveiled at the recently concluded EICMA 2019. The universe is so kind.
Ford Has Officially Confirmed the Mustang Mach-E Name For its New Electric SUV
After years of speculation, Ford’s highly anticipated, Mustang-inspired electric crossover will officially be called the Mustang Mach-E. The model is scheduled to be unveiled on Sunday, November 17, ushering in a new era, not only for Ford but, more importantly, for the Mustang nameplate. Pre-orders for the Mustang Mach-E will begin immediately after the live reveal with a $500 refundable deposit, and early birds will have the opportunity to score one of the limited-run Mustang Mach-E First Edition models. Ford didn’t mention how many of these special edition variants will be available, though if the opportunity presents itself, we expect them to sell out in short order.
2020 Ford Mustang Mach-E
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is an all-electric crossover than Ford unveiled in November 2019. Described as a model that expands the Mustang lineup, the 2021 Mustang Mach-E doesn’t have much in common with the muscle car. Although some of its design features are loosely based on the Mustang, the 2021 Mustang Mach-E is a full-fledged crossover and, more importantly, it’s an all-electric model. The 2021 Mustang Mach-E revives the Mach 1 badge after 15 years, but with a big change that reflects the electric drivetrain. The battery-powered SUV will hit dealerships in 2020 and will compete against the Tesla Model Y. Let’s find out if it’s good enough in the review below.
