The Toyota GR Supra Can Hold Its Own Against The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4
The Toyota Supra returned in early 2019 after a 17-year absence. But unlike its predecessor, the fifth-gen Supra is no longer a pure JDM car. Now it shares most underpinnings with the BMW Z4. This is a bit upsetting for purists, but is it really an issue? This drag race between the GR Supra and the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 says it’s not, as the German-powered Japanese coupe is actually a bit quicker than the track-prepped Cayman.
Social Media Influencers and Cool Cars - The Shameless on Rodeo Drive
It’s one thing to be a social media influencer and carry actual influence in the real world. It’s another thing to be a faux social media influencer who parades around a place like Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California, acting all that despite probably not being anywhere close to even being “that.”
It’s a testament to how the word “fame” is viewed these days that you can see people posing for photographs with exotic cars, gobs of money, and the occasional honey or two, all for the sake of posting said photos on Instagram and watching the “likes” and comments come pouring in. It’s a real thing that happens in today’s world, and if you need more convincing, check out this 13-minute video from YouTube channel effspot. It’s a shameless look at a shameless way of becoming famous. Then again, no one’s stopping them, right?
2021 Ares Design S1
The Ares Design S1 is an upcoming supercar built by Ares Design, the company led by former Lotus CEO Dany Bahar. The exotic-looking S1 is based on the C8-generation Chevrolet Corvette, borrowing the chassis, engine, gearbox, and electronic underpinnings from the American mid-engined sports car. Powered by a reworked, naturally aspirated V-8, the S1 packs 705 horsepower, some 200 horses more than the Corvette C8. Is the S1 just a beefed-up Corvette or a brand-new vehicle with Chevy underpinnings? Let’s find out in the review below.
A new performance version of the next Mercedes C-Class has been spotted during hot weather testing. More specifically, it is the milder C53 AMG variant. The car has been spotted being tested under the Southern European sun. The C-Class has always been important for the Mercedes brand, even though it’s the E-Class that is the most sold sedan of the entire lineup. Nevertheless, the C-Class will, once again, need to improve upon the very capable platform it has always been. With this in mind, here’s what we can expect.
Meet the Porsche 550one - The Two-Seater Time Forgot
Porsche unveiled a handful of previous unseen concept cars back in November 2020, showing us that it considered a road-legal version of the 919 race car, a van, or a 904 revival based on the Volkswagen XL Sport.
The German company unveiled no fewer than 15 concepts, but the 550one isn’t one of them. A two-seater about the size of the Boxster, the 550one was just unveiled online by its creator, Walter de Silva, some 12 years after it was built. As the name suggests, it’s a tribute to the iconic Porsche 550 of the 1950s.
Hyundai Could Put BMW and Mercedes in Check With the Palisade N Line
When Hyundai redesigned the Santa Fe for the 2019 model year, it decided that a long-wheelbase version will no longer be sold in the U.S. But it came up with a replacement, the Palisade, which arrived in North America for the 2020 model year.
Also a midsize SUV, the Palisade is 7.6 inches longer and features a 5.3-inch longer wheelbase, enabling Hyundai to go after the highly popular BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. But the Korean brand needs a bit more to tackle the German competition and a Palisade N Line model might be it. Will Hyundai offer one?
2021 Bentley Bentayga Hybrid
Ever since the uber-luxurious automakers ventured into high-riding vehicles, they’ve become less niche and more mainstream. Just like the Urus and the Cullinan have raked up big numbers for Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce respectively, the Bentayga has done that for Bentley. While you can maintain exclusivity and uniqueness at that price point, you still have to keep your finger on the pulse; the case in point here being the hybrid technology.
Bentley introduced the Bentayga Hybrid in 2020 and it soon became one of the most popular variants in the SUV’s lineup. Within a year, the British automaker has introduced the facelifted version that comes with refreshed styling inside out and updates on the tech front. The 2020 Bentayga Hybrid was the company’s first hybrid ever; so, does the 2021 model overcome any shortcomings?
This Beat-Up Lada Has Rear Legs, ’Walks’ Around Like It’s Nothing
Car tuners in America are often geared towards power, power, and more power. Car tuners in Europe, on the other hand, are more sophisticated in their approach, preferring to cover all the bases required of a proper tuning setup.
Then there are car tuners in Russia, a lot of whom aren’t bashful about veering into the crazy side of car tuning. Russian tuner Garage 54 is probably best known for this approach, and when it collaborates with car-crazy Russian YouTube channel Workroom Siberia, you get projects like the Lada Walker, a beat-up Lada that’s been custom-tuned to walk. Yes, walk. Welcome to Mother Russia, folks.
2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L - Bigger Than Ever With Impressive Tech
Jeep has been milking the Grand Cherokee moniker for over 27 years now and it is still one of the top-selling models for the automaker. The SUV is showing its age in the current iteration, but that doesn’t mean the demand is going low. So, instead, Jeep decided to tap into another niche with the same formula. Called the Grand Cherokee L, this SUV rides on an extended platform and has a third row of seats.

The CT5-V Blackwing Will Be The Most Powerful Cadillac Ever Made
The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing has been the subject of a lot of discussions, and those flames are still being fanned with a new report saying that the range-topping high-performance sedan is set to have the highest output of any Cadillac model.
New information brought to light by AutoVerdict claims as much, indicating that the CT5-V Blackwing will surpass the 640-horsepower and 630-pound-feet of torque output of the discontinued third-generation Cadillac CTS-V. No word yet on how much output the CT5-V Blackwing will have when it rolls out, but if it’s being tagged as the most powerful of any Cadillac in history, that bit of news should add more hype to a model that hasn’t had any shortage of it in recent months.
